BUGS BUNNY Dell comic #31

  This is Dell comic #31 in the Bugs Bunny series, released in June and July of 1953 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Porky Pig at the helm of a red pointy-tipped, open bubble-topped spaceship while, behind him, Bugs Bunny uses the fire from the propulsion rocket boosters to fry some eggs and bacon.  The comic is in EX condition, with some spine and cover wear being its only flaws.

BUGS BUNNY Dell comic #40

  This is Dell comic #40 in the Bugs Bunny series, originally released in December 1954 and January 1955 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny as a tree surgeon, attached to an upper limb by a rope as he saws the lower branch on which he sits.  This comic is in NM- to NM condition, with light cover and spine wear being its only flaws.

BUGS BUNNY Dell comic #41

  This is Dell comic #41 of the Bugs Bunny series, originally released in February and March of 1955.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny as a zookeeper who is sweeping some trash directly into a startled kangaroo's pouch.  The comic is in NM- condition, with some cover and spine wear being its only flaws.

BUGS BUNNY small comic book -- Lion Tamer

  This is a 3.25x6.75" comic book entitled Bugs Bunny, Lion Tamer.  The item was manufactured in 1949 but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  The front shows Bugs Bunny dressed as a circus' ringmaster, leaning forward, and peering into a lion's mouth.  The back shows an ad for Quaker Puffed Rice, featuring Bugs Bunny watching Elmer Fudd and Porky Pig take off in their red rocketship.  The item is in VG condition, with age-related yellowing and some small tears on the back cover.

BUGS BUNNY record

  This is a 45 RPM record featuring Bugs Bunny.  Actually, the record itself contains the songs I Taut I Taw a Puddy Tat (sung by Mel Blanc as Tweety) and Merrily We Roll Along (also featuring Mel Blanc's voice).  The music was performed by Mitch Miller.  The jacket contains a large image of Bugs bunny's smiling face and smaller images of a saluting Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd the hunter who waves, Tweety standing, Sylvester standing with his right hand raised, and Daffy leaning toward his left side.  The record is in near mint condition, with minor play wear.  The jacket is in VG+ condition, with some mildew residue on the front.  This item was produced by A.A. Records and it probably dates to the later 1950s.

BUGS BUNNY record -- Moon Bunny

  This is a 7" record of Bugs Bunny singing Moon Bunny.  The record is the size of a 45 but actually plays at 33 1/3 RPM.  The cardboard jacket shows Bugs Bunny sitting on a stage, on a large pile of carrots.  The back of the jacket is light blue and features a border of cartoon characters including several Looney Tunes characters, some from the Flintstones, the Three Stooges, Casper, Popeye, and Archie.  This item was manufactured by Peter Pan Industries in 1976.  The record is in EX condition, with some minor surface scratching, and the jacket is in VG- condition, with some light staining and creasing on it.

BUGS BUNNY March of Comics #44

  This is the March of Comics #44 issue, featuring Bugs Bunny.  Although undated, this item probably was manufactured sometime during the later 1940s.  The cover shows Elmer Fudd  trying hard to saw a tree while Bugs Bunny casually attaches Elmer's saw to a spring, to make the cutting job more difficult.  This item was distributed as part of a long not-exclusively-Looney-Tunes-focused series distributed by Sears-Roebuck.  This item is in VG condition, with some foxing of the cover's edges being its principal problem.  Over the years, the paper has become dried and brittle, but all pages are currently intact and present.

BUGS BUNNY March of Comics #220

  This is March of Comics #220, manufactured in 1961 by K.K. Publications.  It features Bugs Bunny in Hare-Raising Experience.  The cover shows Elmer Fudd dressed as a plumber who is looking at a pipe signpost hanging over Bugs Bunny's head, as Bugs walks outdoors to catch dripping water in a red pail.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.

BUGS BUNNY March of Comics #287

  This is March of Comics issue #287, featuring Bugs Bunny.  It was sponsored by Sears and was released in 1966.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny holding the top of a large Easter egg shell in both hands while Sylvester sits inside of the lower portion of the shell, inside of an Easter basket nest gathering eggs.  The comic is in EX+ condition, with spine and light cover wear being its only flaws.  All interior pages are present and in nice condition.

  This is March of Comics issue #301, featuring Bugs Bunny.  The item was sponsored by Robin Hood Shoes and was released in 1967.  The cover shows Porky Pig looking startled as he leans forward carrying his basket of Easter eggs.  In front of him, Bugs Bunny casually walks along with a scarlet baby carriage full of Easter eggs.  Th comic is in EX+ to NM- condition, with minor spine and cover wear being its only flaws.   This is March of Comics issue #452, featuring Bugs Bunny.  The comic was released in 1979 and it was sponsored by Lazy Bones Shoes.  The cover is white and shows Bugs Bunny sitting in a red armchair reading Home Garden magazine while being surrounded by tall pink and purple flowerpots with carrots growing in them.  The comic is in NM+ condition.

BUGS BUNNY collector's glass

  This is a 6.25" thick (i.e., Brockway-style) collector's glass showing Bugs Bunny standing, looking downward and toward his right side, with his left arm and index finger raised.  The glass is in mint condition.  It was manufactured in 1973 as part of a large Looney Tunes glass set released as part of the Pepsi Collector's Series.  This particular glass has black lettering.

BUGS BUNNY collector's glass -- birthday

  This is a 5.75" collector's glass released by Shell gasoline stations in 1990 in celebration of Bugs Bunny's 50th birthday.  The front shows Bugs leaning out of a scarlet Looney Tunes tunnel, carrot in hand, wearing a black tuxedo, a white shirt, and a red bowtie.  Around the gold film ribbon, there are black images of Yosemite Sam, Tweety, Sylvester, Porky Pig, Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, and Daffy Duck.  This item is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY collector's glass -- smaller size

  This is a 5.25" thick (i.e., Brockway-style) collector's glass of Bugs Bunny, who is shown standing with his left hand and index finger raised.  The glass was released as part of a tough-to-find six-character set that also included Porky Pig, Tweety, Daffy Duck, Road Runner, and Sylvester.  It was manufactured in 1973 and is in mint condition.  The glass has black lettering and a white Pepsi logo.

BUGS BUNNY tumbler

  This is a 3.75" plastic tumbler showing Bugs Bunny from the neck upward against a red square backdrop.  He is looking upward and toward his right side, with a vexed expression on his face.  The tumbler was manufactured in 1991 by Zak Designs Inc. along with Tweety, Sylvester, Tasmanian Devil, and Daffy Duck counterparts.  Bugs is in mint, unused condition.

BUGS BUNNY footed mug

  This is a 5.5" white footed milk glass mug with an image of Bugs Bunny walking on a grassy area, with a large orange circle behind him.  He holds a carrot in his raised left hand and his name appears in black, block lettering beneath him.  The mug was manufactured in 1975 for distribution in the Great America theme park gift shops.  It is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY grape jelly jar / glass

  This is a 4.25" glass that originally was sold as a Welch's grape jelly jar.  It shows Bugs Bunny casually leaning on an invisible wall with his left hand while raising his right hand and index finger.  Each glass in the set comes with Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Sylvester, Tweety, or Yosemite Sam incised on the bottom.  I have a complete set of these glasses with each variation, and all are in mint condition.  They were released in 1976.

BUGS BUNNY grape jelly jar / juice glass

  This is Dell Four Color comic #281 featuring Bugs Bunny in The Great Circus Mystery.  The issue was released in 1950. The cover shows Bugs Bunny riding a red unicycle on a circus high wire, holding a magnifying glass so that he can see all of the people down below.  The comic is in EX condition, with all interior pages present and in nice condition.  The cover has light wear and some creasing and minor tearing on the spine, along with one small missing corner on the back side.

BUGS BUNNY Dell comic #35

  This is Dell comic #35 in the Bugs Bunny series, originally released in February and March of 1954.  The cover shows Petunia Pig sitting inside of an orange window sash looking lovingly at Bugs Bunny, who serenades her using the red claws on his yellow rake to play music for her.  The comic is in Fair- condition, with some creasing on the cover, a few creases in the cover, moderate spine wear, and mildew stains.

BUGS BUNNY gumball machine

  This is a 9.5" plastic gumball machine showing Bugs Bunny from the neck upward.  He has grey ears and white buck teeth, and is shown smiling broadly.  This item has a yellow base, a blue gumball catcher, and a pink handle.  It was manufactured in 1972 but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Bugs is in VG condition, with his main flaw being the absence of the back of the yellow base, where the coins would be stored.

BUGS BUNNY figural bleach bottle

  This is a 10.5" plastic bleach bottle showing Bugs Bunny standing in front of a large white Easter egg with an orange band across its middle.  He holds a carrot in his right hand and rests against the egg with his left arm.  This item's copyright information does not indicate who made it or when it was manufactured, although it probably dates to the later 1960s or earlier 1970s.  Bugs has one small dented area by his left foot's big toe and some minor paint loss, leaving him in VG+ condition.

  This is Whitman comic #245 from the Bugs Bunny series, originally released in 1983 (no month indicated) at a cost of 60 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny walking along with a fishing pole slung over his left shoulder and a large fish-shaped briefcase in his right hand.  Behind him, Elmer Fudd carries his own briefcase and watches Bugs in surprise.  The comic is in EX- condition, with all interior pages being present and generally in nice condition.  The cover has a few water stains, some crinkling, and light wear.

BUGS BUNNY Vacation Funnies #8

  This is Bugs Bunny's Vacation Funnies issue #8, released by Dell in 1958 (no month indicated) at a cost of 25 cents.  The cover has beautiful graphics showing Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety, and Cicero diving into a watering hole where Sylvester holds a green fish.  Daffy Duck and a shirtless Elmer Fudd prepare to jump off the diving board into the hole along with them.  This item is in Fair- condition.  The back cover is missing and some of the game pages on the inside of the comic have been used by its original owner.  The cover and spine both have wear, but are intact.

BUGS BUNNY Dell Four Color comic #376

  This is Dell Four Color comic #376, entitled Bugs Bunny "The Magic Sneeze".  It was released in February and March of 1952 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny as a surprised magician who turns his black top hat upside-down, only to release three $1,000 bills, a plaid elephant, and a polka-dotted pelican.  The comic is in Fair condition, with the upper left-hand corner missing and the cover and spine displaying considerable wear.  All interior pages are present and in nice condition, other than the torn-off corner.

BUGS BUNNY Christmas Funnies #1

  This is issue #1 of Bugs Bunny's Christmas Funnies, originally released by Dell in 1950 at a cost of 25 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny dancing with Santa Claus.  The back cover shows Bugs Bunny and Sylvester stringing white garland on their Christmas tree while Elmer Fudd puts a told star on top of it, Porky Pig hands a green Christmas ornament to Petunia Pig, who searches through a box for more ornaments, and Cicero puts a red Christmas ornament on the tree.  This item is 128 pages long and in EX condition.  The interior pages are all present and in nice condition.  The cover has light to moderate wear, a few small edge tears, and a partial roll on the spine.

  This is Dell Four Color comic #33 featuring Bugs Bunny in the cover story Bugs Bunny Public Nuisance No. 1, originally released in 1943 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny sweating as he is locked inside of a yellow wooden stock.  The back cover shows Bugs Bunny taking a bow and pushing Elmer Fudd and Porky Pig out of his way, claiming Le me take th' bows, fellas!  After all, I did most of the work!!  This comic is in EX- to EX condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has light wear, some large creases, and one surface spot where the green has worn off.  The spine has moderate wear.

  This is Dell Four Color comic #51 featuring Bugs Bunny in the cover story Bugs Bunny Finds the Lost Treasure, originally released in 1944 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny sitting with a treasure trove in front of him as he tosses several coins and baubles from hand to hand. The comic is in VG- condition, with all interior pages being present.  About three-quarters of them are in nice condition, but the others have a ragged edge and small edge chips missing. The cover has moderate wear, and the spine has considerable wear and some small pieces missing.

  This is Dell Four Color comic #347 featuring Bugs Bunny in the cover story Bugs Bunny the Frigid Hare, originally released in August and September of 1951 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny standing outside on a snowy day, possibly by the North Pole (which is shown to be yellow-and-red striped) on a temperature of 15 below 0.  This comic is in G+ to VG- condition, with all interior pages being present.  Most of them have minor creasing along the opening margin, and two of them have small tears.  The cover has moderate wear, creasing, and crinkling, along with the numeral 35 written on it in pencil.  The spine has moderate wear and a few small tears.

  This is Dell Four Color comic #366 featuring Bugs Bunny in the cover story Uncle Buckskin Comes to Town, originally released in December of 1951 and January of 1952 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny walking along a nighttime street following his Uncle Buckskin, just as the uncle is about to walk into an open manhole cover.  This comic is in EX to EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has light wear and a few crinkles on it, and the spine has moderate wear and crinkling.

  This is Dell Four Color comic #420 featuring Bugs Bunny in the cover story The Mysterious Buckaroo, originally released in August and September of 1952 at a cost of 10 cents.  The cover shows Bugs Bunny dressed as an old west cowboy.  He has a suspicious expression on his face and he prepares to draw his pistols.  Behind him, Yosemite Sam with a white moustache prepares to shoot him from behind a cactus.  This comic is in VG+ condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has light-to-moderate wear, minor crinkling, and one tear on the lower edge. The spine has moderate wear and crinkling.
