This cute item is a
4" plastic wind-up toy of Donald Duck, who is shown with both hands
together behind his back. He wears his usual sailor's uniform, complete
with hat, bib, shirt, and bowtie. When the knob on Donald's right side is
wound up, he walks along quite well. This item is in mint condition and it
comes with its original box, which is also in nice shape. The box has
graphics showing Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse on the various
sides. The toy was manufactured by Masudaya Corporation and it probably
dates to the 1970s, as it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.

carnival chalk figure
This Donald
Duck carnival chalk figure has a green sailor's cap with a long
tassel hanging down the back of his head and neck. His bill is painted yellow, orange, and
red. His shirt is red. His bowtie and the base on which he stands are both
green. His neckline and bowtie are decorated with silver (now appearing mostly grey)
glitter. There is one very small surface chip in the chalk on the underside rim of
Donald's cap, and judging from its appearance, this may have been a factory flaw.
Paint loss on this item is very minimal and no other damage is present. Amazingly
enough, for an item that probably dates back to the 1950s, Donald is in remarkable
condition--probably meriting an EX+ condition grading overall. PLEASE
NOTE: Due to the extremely fragile nature of this item, insurance is NOT optional
with this particular purchase, so that we can conduct our transaction mutually protected
from accidental damage or loss.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) jointed vinyl Dakin figure
This is
the R. Dakin Company's jointed vinyl figure of Donald Duck. Donald is shown quite
differently than his "usual" appearance, with a very large head and large feet.
He is wearing his original blue cloth sailor's shirt with the original red felt
bowtie. His glued-on felt coat buttons are no longer present, but could be replaced
easily, since they were nothing more than small circles of white felt that were glued onto
his coat. The R. Dakin manufacturer's label is clean and completely intact.
Donald stands nearly 8" tall. Overall, he's in EX+ condition (most of the
downgrading due to the absence of the felt coat buttons), with just some very light
surface marks on his bill.

long-billed bisque figure
This is a
1.75" bisque figure of Donald Duck, shown in his earlier long-billed
caricature. He wears a blue sailor's hat and a blue sailor's shirt, with a
red bowtie. He is shown holding onto his belly with both hands and is
standing and looking off toward his right. Donald has no damage anywhere
on him but does have a moderate amount of paint wear, as shown in the
picture. The image on the left (frontal) is closer to Donald's true colors
than the image on the right (rear) is, due to the way our digital camera froze
the image. Overall, Donald is in Good to G+ condition. He probably
dates to the 1940s and there is no indication of his manufacturer anywhere on
him.

doll
This is a
9.25" firmly-stuffed plush doll of Donald Duck, who has a vinyl head.
Donald's upper torso is pale blue in color, and his lower portion is white, with
yellow feet. He wears a blue sailor's hat and has a pale yellow ribbon
tied around his neck. He was manufactured during the 1950s by Gund as part
of its Gundikins doll set. Donald has no damage anywhere on him, and he
retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn
securely into his left hip. This doll has very minor paint wear on the
vinyl and some play-related discoloration of the plush. This area is NOT
stained or damaged, but merely lightly soiled from being played with over the
years. Overall, Donald is in EX+ condition.

This
is a 3" ceramic figurine of Donald Duck, who is shown with his right arm resting by
his side as he waves hello with his upraised left arm. Donald is wearing his usual
sailor's outfit and red bowtie. The underside of the figurine bears the Walt Disney
Productions copyright marking, suggesting that this item was made during the 1960s or
1970s. No manufacturer is indicated on the item. Donald is undamaged although
there are several small spots of paint loss on this item, particularly on the edges of the
back of Donald's cap. As a result, this figurine is in EX to EX+ condition.

Gabriel. When squeezed, Donald gives out a nice, gentle squeaking sound. He is
in NM condition, with only a few small areas of paint loss on his bill and along the
bottom edge of his sailor's shirt.

This is a
2.75" bisque figurine showing Donald Duck as a vexed plumber. He has
a grey toolbox between his legs and a grey wrench in his right hand as he stares
at a plunger that is stuck to his tail feathers. This item is in NM+
condition. It bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and
probably dates to the 1970s. There is no indication anywhere on this item
as to who made it. Donald retains his original price sticker, showing that
he once cost $4.00.

is a 4.5" vinyl squeak toy of Donald Duck, who is shown sitting with his heels joined
in front of him as he happily rests his hands on the tops of both feet. Donald is wearing
his usual blue sailor’s suit, blue sailor’s cap with a black ribbon on it, and a
red bowtie. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably
dates to the later 1960s or 1970s. The manufacturer is not indicated anywhere on the item.
When squeezed, Donald gives off a gentle squeaking sound. The vinyl is completely
undamaged. There are several small spots of paint wear on this item, primarily on the cap.
Overall, though, it is in EX to EX+ condition and is a nice example of this
less-commonly-found Donald Duck squeak toy.

long-billed woolen doll
This very rare
Donald Duck doll stands 9" tall. It has a woolen plush surface and is
a stuffed doll. As usual, Donald wears a blue sailor's outfit, complete
with jacket, bib, and hat. The jacket retains all of its original white
plastic buttons. In fact, everything on this Donald Duck doll appears to
be original and present. This is the long-billed version of Donald,
popular in items made during the 1930s and 1940s. The doll was
manufactured by Character Novelty Company, as evidenced by the original
manufacturer's label that is sewn securely into Donald's left hip (if ducks have
hips, that is). The doll is in amazingly good condition considering its
age, with no stains or missing parts or replacement parts anywhere on it.
There is some use-related discoloration of the white parts of the plush from
Donald's previous owner having played with him over the years. There are
also a few tiny moth holes in the felt covering of Donald's hands, but these are
very small and inconspicuous. At worst, this tough-to-find item is in EX
condition.

During
the 1960s and 1970s, a number of small rubber figures of various Walt Disney cartoon
characters were produced, each being a different solid color and featuring a different
character. This is the solid yellow figure of Donald Duck from that set. (We
also have a Mickey Mouse and a Dumbo figure from this set in stock.) Donald is
2.25" tall and brighter yellow than he appears in the picture, with black-painted
eyes. He is shown with his left hand resting on his tail feathers and his right hand
extended upward and outward as if he were introducing something or someone. This
figure is in near mint condition, with a small discolored spot on his tail feathers.

This is a 4.5"
jointed vinyl skediddler of Donald Duck, who wears his usual blue sailor's
outfit. When the blue pusher is used to handle Donald, he rolls along the
floor and his head moves from side to side as his arms and legs alternate
raising and lowering in simulated walking motion. This item is in mint
condition and it has never been removed from its original box. The box has
colorful graphics on front, back, and on one side, and a dinged cellophane
window on the other side. This item was manufactured by Mattel in 1968
along with Goofy and Mickey Mouse counterparts.

This is a 6.5"
vinyl squeak toy of Donald Duck, who is shown popping out of a red telephone
while speaking on that same phone. The phone has a white dial with a red
"D" in the center of it and Donald himself is wearing his usual blue
sailor's hat, blue sailor's outfit, and red bowtie. When squeezed, this
item gives off a gentle squeaking sound. It was manufactured during the
1970s by Danara as part of a larger collection of Walt Disney character squeak
toys. Donald is completely free of damage. He has only minor paint
wear, two dots on the top of his hat, and a faded 1/2" long pen mark on his
left hand. Overall, this item is in EX to EX+ condition.

drinking straws
This is a box of
pink and blue reinforced paper drinking straws, featuring Donald Duck. The
green-blue box shows Donald standing on top of a step ladder holding onto a
tall, thin straw which he is inserting into a drinking glass. The back of
the box has cut-out images of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse that, once cut out,
enable children to have two pivoting character figural toys. Neither is
perforated, though, and they remain wholly intact. The box contains almost
all of its original straws and itself is intact, with edge wear and some minor
tearing on the insertable flaps. The contents are in mint condition.
This item probably dates to the 1960s and it bears the Walt Disney Productions
copyright marking. It was manufactured by the American Seal-Kap Corp.

is a rarely-found 7" rubber squeak toy of Donald Duck, who is shown standing with his
legs apart and his hands on his hips. This particular Donald Duck depiction has a
longer bill than most of the items manufactured after the 1940s, although the copyright
inscription dates this item to 1964. Donald's back also bears the Walt Disney
Productions copyright marking. When squeezed, he gives off a gentle squeaking sound.
Donald is in EX to EX+ condition overall, with minor paint loss on the bowtie,
minor paint loss on the edge of his blue sailor's hat, and some minor darkening of his
backside being the item's only flaws. This item is in very nice shape and is not
among the more commonly found Donald Duck squeak toys.

This beautiful item
is a 6.75x7" ceramic planter showing Donald Duck standing beside a wooden
fence. Donald is dressed as a cowboy, complete with a pastel yellow cowboy
hat, a raspberry-colored neckerchief, a green shirt, a brown gun belt, and
yellow boots. This item was manufactured during the 1950s by Leeds along
with numerous other Walt Disney cartoon character figures, banks, and
planters. Donald is incised Donald Duck (c) Walt Disney on the
underside of the planter. This item has no damage and two small unglazed
areas (seemingly originally unglazed at the factory at the time of manufacture)
on the front bottom of the grass (visible in the photograph accompanying this
description). Overall, this item is in NM+ condition.

This
is a vinyl Donald Duck bank that stands 6" tall. Although Donald's left arm is
fixed in place, the extended right arm is jointed at the shoulder. The coin slot is
located on the back of Donald's head. There is a peach-colored coin trap on the
bottom of the bank that, despite its tight fit, probably is not the original. This
item was manufactured during the 1960s or 1970s and bears the Walt Disney Productions
marking. The maker is unknown. If the coin trap does happen to be the
original, then this item is in NM+ condition overall; if it is not, the item's overall
condition probably merits a grading of EX+.

This
hard vinyl Donald Duck bank was manufactured during the 1970s by Animal Toys Plus, Inc.
It is a mechanical bank, with Donald's right hand having an indentation in it for
the coin and his arm being jointed so as to allow Donald to place the coin directly into
the side of his lavender piggy bank with the bright red stars on it (YUCK!!). The
original gold foil "Donald Duck" label is clean and intact on the front of the
bank's red base, and the original stopper is present too. Other than some minor
paint wear along the very bottom perimeter of the bank's base, this item is in great
shape--NM overall. It stands 9" tall.

etc.) featuring Donald Duck. He is shown from the torso upward and is
holding onto the yellow-orange cord on the side of the front half of a brown
boat. The boat is hollowed out and that is where the small plant could be
planted or the desktop items could be stored. This item bears the Walt
Disney Company copyright marking and, thus, probably dates to the middle to
later 1980s. It is free of damage and has only slight paint wear, leaving

During
the 1970s, a number of Walt Disney cartoon character bisque figurines were manufactured
with sports-related themes. (We have several others in stock currently, too.)
This is one of those figurines, featuring Donald Duck sitting haplessly in a golf course's
water trap with his golf club partially immersed in the water by his right side and his
golf ball atop the lily pad on his head. This item is 3" tall and 3"
long. Donald is shown wearing a turquoise shirt with a blue collar. This
figurine bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking on its underside and, thus,
probably dates to the 1970s. It is in mint condition.

This
hand puppet of Donald Duck was manufactured during the 1970s and distributed at Walt
Disney World. It has a vinyl head and a cotton cloth figural body with Donald's name
written in red lettering on the bottom of the puppet. The original tag is present
and undamaged, although it has faded considerably (but is still readable). This item
is 10.25" tall. Donald's cloth could use a good soaking/cleaning.
Something like Woolite would probably do wonders for its appearance, but we'll leave that
to the item's new owner. The paint on the vinyl part of this hand puppet is in very
nice shape, with a few minor spots of light paint wear.

holding a pair of black binoculars in his right hand. He looks downward
and slightly off toward his left side, and is shown wearing his usual blue
sailor's outfit with the red bowtie. When squeezed, this item gives off a
hearty squeaking sound. Donald was manufactured by Dell sometime during
the 1960s. He has no damage and very little wear. Overall, he is in
no worse than near mint condition . . . quite nice!

depressed, Donald collapses at the neck and arms. This item is undamaged

condition.

Although it does
not look like a "traditional" nodder, this 5.5" tall plastic
Donald Duck really is a nodder, complete with bobbing head. It shows

item. This item was manufactured by Irwin and it bears the Walt Disney
Productions copyright marking, indicative of an item that was manufactured
during the 1960s or earlier 1970s. Donald has no damage and only minor
paint loss, primarily on the back of his sailor's hat. Overall, he is in
no worse than near mint condition.

is a small hard vinyl bank of Donald Duck, who is shown sitting with his legs bowed as he
holds his lavender piggy bank in his arms. The bank is 4.75" tall. The
coin slot is located on the back of Donald's head and a black plastic stopper is present
and securely in place on the underside of the bank. This item's copyright
information does not indicate who made the bank. I does bear the Walt Disney
Productions copyright marking, indicating that it was made sometime during the 1960s or
1970s in all likelihood. The bank is free of damage and paint wear is extremely
minimal. Donald's white areas have yellowed slightly over the years, but even they
still appear to be off-white (rather than bright white) in color. Overall, this bank
is in near mint condition--quite nice for a less-commonly-found Donald Duck bank.
