LOONEY TUNES piper flute

This is a blue plastic piper flute with a white mouthpiece.  It is the Looney Tunes piper flute and the 12x4.5" cardboard mounting card shows Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Road Runner, and Porky Pig happily greeting us.  The item itself is in mint condition.  The mounting card has a strip along the left side where the surface litho has come off, precisely where the piper flute itself used to be attached.  The back of the mounting card gives instructions how to play Happy Birthday, Oh How Lovely Is the Evening, London Bridge, Farmer in the Dell, and Mary Had a Little Lamb.  This item was manufactured by Proll Toys sometime during the 1960s before zip codes were created.

LOONEY TUNES musical mobile

This is a 12" musical mobile consisting of six of the Looney Tunes characters dangling from a yellow plastic swirling star.  When the white knob underneath the swirling star is turned, the musical mechanism plays Brahms' Lullaby and the star itself rotates.  Hanging from the mobile are stuffed felt figures showing the Road Runner holding a dead end sign by a cactus, Wile E Coyote riding on a red motorcycle, Yosemite Sam hiding behind a carrot farm signpost, Bugs Bunny wheeling an overflowing wheelbarrow of carrots, and Tweety and Sylvester taking a bath together.  This item is in near mint condition, with a retaping of Sylvester's head being the item's only flaw.  It was manufactured in 1978 but the copyright information does not indicate the manufacturer.

LOONEY TUNES freezer pops

This rare find is a set of three plastic Looney Tunes Twin Rocket Freezer Pops molds.  Each mold is shaped like the rounded tip of a rocketship and is either blue, yellow, or pink in color.  The only thing linking it to Looney Tunes are the images of Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, and Porky Pig on the top of the mounting card, where each character holds his own Twin Rocket freezer pop.  This item is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack (which has a few small holes along the sides).  It was manufactured by Eagle in 1960.  The back of the package contains a drawing of a rocketship along with directions for making the freezer pops using this item.  When originally sold, this item cost a mere $0.59.

LOONEY TUNES rubber figures

This is a 9.5" tall by 5.5" wide package containing four rubber Looney Tunes figures.  The packaging is similar to the item shown above, but the contents are different AND the manufacturer is different.  Inside the package are a bright orange running Road Runner, a blue Sylvester standing with his right arm and index finger raised, a standing yellow Tweety, and a green standing Bugs Bunny.  This item was manufactured by Diener Industries Inc. and it probably dates to the early 1970s.  The contents are in mint condition and remain sealed inside of their original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on their original cardboard mounting card.  As with the item shown above, the colorful graphics on the mounting card depict Wile E Coyote, Tweety, Sylvester, Road Runner, Porky Pig, and a showman Bugs Bunny.

item number     LOO0011     PRIVATE COLLECTION ITEM; NOT FOR SALE

LOONEY TUNES  Sip Mates

This is a pretty cool item!  It is a box of waxed paper drinking straws, generic in appearance, and eight cardboard sipping figures (two each) of Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and Sniffles.  The idea behind this item is that the drinking straw can be inserted through the hole in each character's mouth, and then the child using it can pretend to be the character behind whose facial image he/she is hiding and drinking.  Most of the original straws remain and the cardboard faces appear never to have been used.  The set also includes all of its original Bugs Bunny napkins.  Amazing!!  They also come with their original box, which has great graphics of Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig drinking from sippy cups.   What appears to be yellow spots of damage on the box top is, in reality, the word "sip" written over and over again.  This item was manufactured by Goodmark Hollywood in 1945.

item number     LOO0012     PRIVATE COLLECTION ITEM; NOT FOR SALE

LOONEY TUNES motion lamp

This uncommon find is an 11.5" plastic motion lamp featuring Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam.  The outer cylinder shows Yosemite Sam angry and toting his pistol when he discovers that Bugs Bunny has stolen his treasure chest's loot, while the interior image shows Bugs running away with the booty.  The reverse side of the outer cylinder shows an angry Elmer Fudd waving his fists in the air after Bugs Bunny has stolen his rifle, while the interior image shows Bugs running away with the rifle.  When plugged into a wall socket, the lamp illuminates and the heat makes it revolve slowly.  Although the rotation mechanism is finicky, it generally works and the lamp is in NM- condition.  Best of all, it comes with its original box, which has images of Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Sylvester Junior, Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam drawn on it.  The box has wear and tape marks, but is intact and in VG+ condition.  This item was manufactured as part of a set of four lamps by Visual Effects Inc. in 1970.

LOONEY TUNES baseball cards

Now here is the collector's dilemma at its finest:  It is a 3.75x2.75" sealed silver foil package containing 12 Looney Tunes baseball cards.  Since the package is in mint, unopened condition, I have no idea whatsoever what the contents look like.  This item was manufactured in 1990 by Upper Deck.

LOONEY TUNES talking bank

This beautifully colorful item is a 13.5" plastic talking bank showing Bugs Bunny leaning on the top of a red Looney Tunes tunnel inside of which Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin Martian, Tasmanian Devil, and Daffy Duck are crowded together.  When the button on the right side of the blue base is depressed, the bank says things like Hey, where's my cut? (Daffy's voice), I like holding money [slurp] (Taz's voice), Hey, deposits only pal! (Sylvester's voice), Oooooh, save money, Earthling! (Marvin Martian's voice), Eh, thanks for the dough, Doc (Bugs Bunny's voice), and Now that's what I call a nest egg! (Foghorn's voice).  The talking mechanism works perfectly and the bank is in virtually perfect condition.  It comes with its colorful original box also, which is in nice condition as well.  This item was manufactured by Top Banana in 1994.
