  This is Dell comic #160 from the Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies series, originally released in February of 1955 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in four-point stances as they prepare to run a race . . . while Bugs has dangled a carrot in front of his face as an enticement to run faster.  The back cover shows Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd laughing together at the thought of receiving their very own vinyl wallet, which was offered as a promotional enticement to Dell comics subscribers.  This comic is in EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has light wear, and the spine has light wear and light-to-moderate crinkling.

  This is Dell comic #162 from the Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies series, originally released in April of 1955 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd hiding on opposite sides of a wooden picket fence from one another.  Bugs tries to lure Elmer Fudd with a wallet tied to a string while Elmer tries to lure Bugs with a carrot tied to a string.  This comic is in near mint condition, with light cover wear being its only flaw.

  This is Dell comic #163 from the Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies series, originally released in May of 1955 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd panting and sweating after playing a grueling game of table tennis with Bugs Bunny, who shakes his hand and hides a red paddle ball behind his back.  The back cover has nice graphics showing Bugs Bunny holding an eagle ring, which was offered as a promotional inducement to subscribers of Dell comics.  This comic is in EX+ to NM- condition, with light cover wear, one top-to-bottom crease on the front cover, and light-to-moderate crinkling of the spine being its main flaws.

  This is Dell comic #165 from the Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies series, originally released in July of 1955 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny eating a hotdog and sitting under a two-tone blue beach umbrella.  He roasts a wienie on a stick over the badly-sunburned Elmer Fudd's head.  The back cover has colorful graphics showing Bugs Bunny holding up one of several Dell promotional pictures that were sent to subscribers of Dell comics.  This comic is in NM- condition, with light cover and spine wear and one top-to-bottom crease on the front cover being its principal flaws.  Noteworthy of this issue is that it is the last comic bearing the "Merrie Melodies" part of the original series title.

  This is Dell comic #166 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in August of 1955 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny as a barbecue chef who is seasoning his carrot as he turns it on the rotisserie.  This comic is in EX+ to NM- condition, with one top-to-bottom crease on the cover and light crinkling near the spine being its principal flaws.  Noteworthy of this issue is that it is the first one NOT to bear the "Merrie Melodies" part of the series' original name.

  This is Dell comic #177 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in July of 1956 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd as an angry gardener who shakes his fist at Bugs Bunny, whose organ grinder monkey runs off with one of Elmer's carrots so that Bugs can make carrot juice for himself.  This comic is in EX condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has light wear and a few creases.  The spine has moderate wear and creasing.

  This is Dell comic #178 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in August of 1956 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd riding in a green magic carpet ride, similar to a rollercoaster.  Elmer's face is covered by the raspberry ice cream that has blown off of Bugs' cone.  This comic is in NM- condition, with two small dog-eared interior pages and light cover and spine wear being its only flaws.

  This is Dell comic #179 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in September of 1956 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd as an angry baseball catcher who waits for batter Bugs Bunny to step up to the plate.  Instead, though, Bugs casually chomps on a carrot near home plate.  This comic is in EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present.  They are generally in nice condition, although a few have corner creases.  The cover has light wear, light crinkling near the spine, and a thin sliver missing from the lower right-hand corner.  The spine has light wear and crinkling.

  This is Dell comic #182 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in December of 1956 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Petunia Pig sitting on a foot stool, knitting a yellow sock using a skein of yarn that Bugs Bunny holds around his ears.  Bugs sits in a red armchair, reading his own Dell Bugs Bunny comic.  This comic is in EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present and generally in nice condition, although two of them have dog-eared corners.   This is Dell comic #183 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in January of 1957 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny sitting at a dinner table together.  Elmer cuts a gravy-covered piece of bread as Bugs cuts his carrots.  Elmer wears a blue cloth napkin around his neck, and for his own "napkin," Bugs has removed the red table lamp's green lampshade and placed it around his own neck.  This comic is in NM- condition, with light cover and spine crinkling, and one top-to-bottom center crease being its main flaws.

  This is Dell comic #188 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in June of 1957 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd angrily peering over a brown fence at Bugs Bunny, who plucks carrots from Elmer's garden and places them in a shopping cart.  This comic is in NM to NM+ condition, with very little evidence of wear anywhere on it, and one grease pencil numeral on the front cover being its only conspicuous flaw.

LOONEY TUNES Dell comic #189

  This is Dell comic #189 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in July of 1957 at a cost of 15 cents.  This was the first comic to cost more than 10 cents, and the last issue at the higher price for many years, as the following month, Dell returned the price to 10 cents again.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny as a Mexican restaurant waiter who pours a green beverage for customer Elmer Fudd . . . from the brim of his sombrero.  This comic is in NM- condition, with light cover wear and a single top-to-bottom crease being its only flaws.

  This is Dell comic #197 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in March of 1958 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd angrily looking at Bugs Bunny's plate, since Bugs has taken a much larger portion of chocolate layer cake for himself than he offered to Elmer.  The back cover shows Bugs Bunny promoting subscriptions to Dell comics by offering a Jack in the Beanstalk plant as a promotional item.  This comic is in EX- condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  Both the front and back cover have small pieces missing.  The front cover has light wear and crinkling, and the spine has somewhat more wear and a tear above the upper staple.

  This is Dell comic #204 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in October of 1958 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd angrily looking over the top of a brown fence and holding a shotgun as Bugs Bunny crouches on the ground and pulls a carrot through a hole in the fence.  This comic is in VG+ condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has moderate wear, light crinkling, and one top-to-bottom crease down the middle.  The spine has light-to-moderate wear and light crinkling.

  This is Dell comic #206 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in December of 1958 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd as fencers as Bugs prepares to clobber Elmer with a boxing glove that he holds over his left hand, which is being held behind his back.  This comic is in EX+ to NM- condition, with light cover wear and minor creasing on the cover being its only flaws.

  This is Dell comic #207 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in January of 1959 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny as a ventriloquist who has a parrot sitting in the back of his dummy's shirt so that the dummy can "talk" to audience member Elmer Fudd.  This comic is in EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present and in nice condition.  The cover has light wear and light crinkling.

  This is Dell comic #208 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in February of 1959 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd sitting at a round table together "sharing" a strawberry milk shake . . . but Bugs has cut Elmer's yellow straw, preventing him from getting his proper share.  This comic is in NM- condition, with light cover wear being its only flaw.

  This is Dell comic #209 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in March of 1959 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Bugs Bunny using a jack and pumping it up so high that it has caused Elmer Fudd to be raised in the air, thereby rendering Elmer unable to fix his green car's flat tire.  This comic is in EX to EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present and generally in nice condition.  This comic has a top-to-bottom crease down the middle and light wear on its cover and spine.

  This is Dell comic #210 from the Looney Tunes series, originally released in April of 1959 at a cost of 10 cents.  The front cover shows Elmer Fudd painting a wooden fence and looking in anger at Bugs Bunny who walks past him clad as a Scotsman.  Bugs carries bagpipes and has his paintbrush slung around his kilt.  This comic is in EX to EX+ condition, with all interior pages being present and most being in nice condition (although the first four of them have a dog-eared corner).  The cover has light wear.
