Porky Pig -- page 1


PORKY PIG pop-up toy

  This is a 3.75" PVC pop-up spring action toy of Porky Pig, who is shown wearing a black jacket and a red bowtie.  He holds his right hand on his knee and is waving with his extended and raised left hand.  When the white suction cup on which Porky sits is pushed onto the black round base, it remains there for a short while and then pops up into the air.  This item was manufactured in 1989 (no manufacturer indicated) as part of a set that also included Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil, and Yosemite Sam.  It is in mint condition.

PORKY PIG porcelain thimble

  This is a 2.5" porcelain thimble showing a devious Porky Pig crouched atop a wooden crate, hammering it shut, and shipping it off to Australia.  Who or what is inside, we simply do not know!  Porky wears a blue coat and a red bowtie, and is holding  a hammer in his left hand.  This item was made in 1998 by Lenox as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes figural thimbles.  It is in mint condition.

PORKY PIG hugger figure

  This is a lightweight plastic hugger figure of Porky Pig, standing 2.75" tall.  He is covered with flocking and wears a blue cloth jacket and a purple cloth bowtie.  Both arms and hands are joined tightly together in front of Porky, so that he can grip onto something thin and sturdy.  Porky was manufactured in 1979 (no maker indicated) along with Sylvester and Bugs Bunny counterparts.  He is undamaged but does have minor spots of wear and use-related soiling on the flocking, leaving him in EX+ condition.

PORKY PIG figural magnet

  This is a 2.75" tall, flat vinyl figural magnet of Porky Pig, manufactured in 1989 as part of a 12-item set by MCL.  He is shown standing with both arms extended downward, almost as if in a presentation pose.  He wears a blue jacket and a red bowtie and has a happy expression on his face.  This item is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG resin magnet

  This is a 1.75" resin magnet showing Porky Pig popping through the red Looney Tunes banner.  He wears a blue jacket, white shirt, grey vest, and red bowtie.  Below him, in black cursive lettering, the phrase That's All Folks! appears.  This magnet was manufactured in 1988 by Applause.  It is in mint condition and was manufactured as part of a set that also included Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, and Wile E Coyote.

PORKY PIG plaster magnet

  This is a 1.5" plaster magnet showing Porky Pig from the oversized green bowtie up.  He is smiling and has his head tilted somewhat toward his right.  This item was made sometime during the 1980s along with Elmer Fudd, Sylvester, and Tweety counterparts.  There is no indication of who made this item anywhere on it.  Overall, Porky is in EX condition, with a few tiny chips in the paint being his primary problems.

PORKY PIG puffy magnet

  This is a 4" vinyl puffy magnet showing Porky Pig smiling and waving hello with the blue-and-yellow baseball cap he holds in his raised right hand.  He wears a blue jacket, a red bowtie, and white gloves.  This magnet was made in 1976 (no manufacturer indicated) as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes puffy magnets of various sizes that was released in 1976 and 1977.  This one is undamaged but slightly dirty in spots, leaving it in NM- to NM condition overall.

PORKY PIG PVC figure -- exercising

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure showing Porky Pig swigging down some water from his red squeeze bottle after what appears to have been a tiring workout.  He wears a light blue headband, a light blue shirt, red pants, and light blue sneakers with white soles.  He has a white towel around his neck and is shown sitting with his legs spread apart.  Porky was manufactured in 1992 by Applause.  He is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG PVC figure -- Pilgrim

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Porky Pig dressed as a Pilgrim, complete with brown hat with a black band and yellow buckle on it and a brown jacket with white collar and cuffs.  He holds a blue tray with a pie in front of him, toward his right side.  Porky is in mint condition and was manufactured by Applause in 1989.

PORKY PIG PVC -- arms up

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure of Porky Pig, who is shown with both hands raised happily in the air beside his cheeks.  Porky wears a blue jacket, white shirt, grey vest, and red bowtie.  He is in mint condition and was manufactured by Applause in 1988.

PORKY PIG coaster -- free parking

  This is a very cool and very rare item!  It is a cardboard drink coaster showing Porky Pig pointing to a Free Parking sign that is standing in the grassy field beside him.  The coaster has a diameter of 3.75".  It has a yellow border decorated with blue and red flowers, and Porky himself is standing with his left hand behind his back.  The manufacturer of this item is unknown, and the item probably dates to the 1940s.  It is in nearly perfect condition and is one five copies of this item that I own.

PORKY PIG coaster -- holding cocktail glass

  This is a very cool and very rare item!  It is a 3.75" diameter cardboard drink coaster showing Porky Pig carrying an oversized cocktail glass in front of him with both hands.  The glass holds a maraschino cherry and Porky appears to be sweating as he carries this item along.  The coaster has a red border with a pale blue inset that contains a ring of cocktail glasses.  This item is in nearly perfect condition and is one of five copies that I own.  It probably dates to the 1940s and there is no indication of the manufacturer.

PORKY PIG coaster -- in tumbler

  This is a very cool and very rare item!  It is a 3.75" diameter cardboard drink coaster showing Porky Pig having fallen into the top of a glass tumbler.  The glass is about one-third full of liquid and a tall white straw is inserted into the glass along with Porky.  The coaster has a red border with a pink inset that is ringed with straws and lemon wedges.  This item probably dates to the 1940s and there is no indication of who the manufacturer was.  It is in nearly perfect condition and is one of four copies of this item that I own.

PORKY PIG Christmas ornament -- hands on hips

  This is a 3" composition Christmas ornament showing Porky Pig with both arms bent akimbo on his hips.  He wears a blue jacket, purple bowtie, and a blue ballcap with a purple brim.  He is shown standing, smiling, and looking off toward his left.  This item was manufactured in 1982, possibly by Gorham, as part of a set that also included Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Honey Bunny, Sylvester, and Tweety.  Porky has a small area of paint loss on the back of his right elbow.  He has no damage anywhere on him, but does have a small hole beneath his feet where part of the original paper closure was punctured.  Overall, Porky is in NM- to NM condition.

PORKY PIG PVC figure -- holding apple

  This is a 3" PVC figure showing Porky Pig as a schoolboy, complete with a red book under his left arm and a large red apple with an orange worm crawling out of it in his extended right hand.  He wears a black shirt with a green collar and is shown standing and looking at the apple.  This item is in mint condition and was made in 1995, probably by Applause.

PORKY PIG PVC figure -- oval base

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure of Porky Pig, who is shown standing on a flesh-colored oval base, hands behind his back, grinning from ear to ear.  He wears a blue jacket, red bowtie, and grey vest.  This item was distributed by Arby's fast food restaurants in 1987 as part of a promotional giveaway of Looney Tunes character figures, each on a different-colored oval base.  Porky is in mint condition.

PORKY PIG figural candle

  This is a 5.5" figural wax candle showing Porky Pig straddling the smokestack of a black locomotive with gold trim.  He wears a Santa Claus suit and has an overflowing green sack of gifts behind him, on the coal tender.  This item is in mint condition and still comes in its original box.  It was made by Matrix in 1996 as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character candles.

PORKY PIG child's toothbrush

  In 1988, Colgate released a set of six children's toothbrushes as part of its Bugs Bunny and Friends series.  This is the Porky Pig item from that set, which also included Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner.  Each item is 6" tall.  This one has a clear green sparkly handle and bears an image of Porky Pig standing, leaning forward, with his right hand raised as if he were calling out to someone. This item is in mint condition and is still sealed inside of its original packaging.

PORKY PIG child's toothbrush

  In 1990, Colgate released a set of six children's toothbrushes as part of its Bugs Bunny and Friends series.  This is the Porky Pig item from that set, which also included Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner.  Each item is 6" tall.  This one has a clear green sparkly handle and bears an image of Porky Pig standing, leaning forward, with his right hand raised as if he were calling out to someone. This item is in mint condition and is still sealed inside of its original packaging and is still contained on its original 3.5x9.5" mounting card.  The mounting card bears a film-style grouping of the six characters that comprise this toothbrush set, each occupying one frame of the film.

PORKY PIG Christmas ornament -- with gifts

  This is a 3" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Porky Pig holding a stack of white Christmas gifts with green ribbons and a red bow off toward his left side.  He wears a blue jacket and a red scarf, and is shown looking off toward his right.  This item is in NM+ condition and retains its original gold lame hanging cord, green paper copyright sticker, box, and corrugated cardboard protective insert.  Porky was manufactured in 1977 by Dave Grossman Designs as part of its first Looney Tunes collectible ornament series.

PORKY PIG Christmas ornament -- with bell

  This is a 3.25" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Porky Pig standing with his left arm bent akimbo at the hip as he holds a large red bell in his right hand.  He is standing, looking upward and toward his right, wearing a blue jacket and a red scarf with white trim.  This item is in near mint condition, with minor paint wear on the back.  It retains its original gold lame hanging cord, green paper copyright sticker, and box.  Originally, this item sold for 69¢.  Kinda hard to believe, huh?!  Porky was manufactured by Dave Grossman Designs in 1979 as part of its third Looney Tunes collectible ornaments series.

PORKY PIG firmly-stuffed doll

  This very rare find is a 16" doll of Porky Pig, who is made of a firmly-stuffed cloth material with a felt outer covering.  He wears a yellow felt bowtie and a green felt jacket, and is shown standing and looking slightly downward and toward his right side.  The doll retains its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn into Porky's right thigh.  It does not indicate who made the doll.  Porky dates to the 1940s and he is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG trinket box

  This is a 6.25" plastic trinket box showing Porky Pig standing and waving a purple baseball cap with his raised right hand.  He wears a blue jacket, a purple bowtie, and a red vest, and is perched atop a red square base that sits atop a transparent red plastic container.  This item is in mint, unused condition.  It was manufactured sometime during the 1980s as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character trinket boxes, and originally was sold in New Jersey's Six Flags Great Adventure theme park gift shops.

PORKY PIG bisque figurine

  This is a 5.25" bisque figurine showing Porky Pig standing atop a flowered grassy trapezoid-shaped area.  He waves a blue-and-purple baseball cap with his right hand and wears a purple bowtie and a blue jacket.  This item was manufactured by Cartoon Novelties sometime during the 1970s as part of a six-character bisque figurine set.  Porky is in mint condition and he comes with his original box, which is also in nice shape.

PORKY PIG hat rack

  This uncommon find is an 11.5" ceramic hat rack showing Porky Pig tugging at the ends of his raspberry-colored bowtie.  He wears a light blue jacket.  His left foot sticks out from the wall, and this is the portion that can be used to hang a hat.  Porky was manufactured by Bai-Dotta in 1986 as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character hat racks, wall plaques, and decorative masks.  He is in mint condition.

PORKY PIG jointed vinyl figure

  This is an 8.25" jointed vinyl figure of Porky Pig, who has movable arms.  He wears a red bowtie, a white shirt, and a blue jacket.  This item was manufactured in 1994 as part of a nine-item set, but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Porky is in NM+ condition and he comes with his original cardboard hang tag.

PORKY PIG plastic figures

  This rare find is a 1972 set of three small plastic figures that were manufactured in Munich, Germany.  Included in the set are Tweety, Daffy, and a Brown Bugs Bunny standing in a green jacket with a red hat in his hand.  The main misnomer here is the title of this item as Schweinchen Dick, which is German for fat piglet or, to American audiences, Porky Pig.  A colorful image of him is shown on the arrow-shaped cardboard header card, but he is not included among the figures inside of this package.  The figures are in mint, unused condition and they remain sealed inside of their original (crinkled) clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on their original cardboard header card.  This item was manufactured by Heimo.

PORKY PIG sculptured soap

  This is a 4.5" rust-colored sculptured soap showing Porky Pig with his left hand behind his back and his right arm raised, waving.  The soap is in mint, sealed, unused condition and it comes with its original box.  The box is red in color with a happy facial image of Porky.  It has some edge wear but is undamaged and completely intact.  Porky was made by Schmid Laboratories in 1975 as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character soap figures.

PORKY PIG small enameled figure

  This is a 2" solid enameled figure of Porky Pig, who stands atop a petite round green base.  He wears a blue jacket and a red bowtie, and is shown waving with his extended left hand.  This item is undamaged but it does have numerous spots of paint loss, leaving Porky in VG condition.  There is no indication on this item as to who made it or when it was manufactured, although my best guess is that this is a 1960s piece.

  This is a 2.25" plastic cake topper, showing Porky Pig standing atop a round lime green base.  In his hands, off toward his left side, he holds two gold cymbals.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by Wilton in 1978 as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character cake toppers.

  This is a 7.5" jointed vinyl figure of Porky Pig, who has movable arms.  He stands smiling in his white shirt, red bowtie, and blue jacket.  This figure is in mint condition and it retains its original colorful cardboard hang tag.  Porky was manufactured in 1995 as part of a larger set of Looney Tunes character vinyl figures that were sold in the Warner Brothers Studio Stores.

PORKY PIG large lamp

  This fun item is an 18.5" vinyl lamp showing Porky Pig standing with both arms behind his back.  He has an enlarged head and wears a red bowtie and a blue jacket, and is standing atop a blue mound.  When plugged in, this item gives off a nice warm glow.  Porky is in near mint condition, with no damage and just a few small spots of minor paint loss.  He was manufactured along with Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, and Road Runner/Wile E Coyote counterparts.  Porky was manufactured by American Lighting Specialties, and although undated, he probably comes from the later 1960s.

PORKY PIG wooden pull toy

  This beautiful, rare item is a 9.25" wooden pull toy showing Porky Pig waving a pink-and-blue baseball cap with his raised left arm.  He wears a dark blue jacket and a pink bowtie, and is perched atop a blue platform that sits in front of a blue, red, and yellow wagon.  This item retains all of its original red wooden wheels.  It was manufactured by Brice during the 1940s.  Porky is in NM- condition, with minor wear on the paper litho being his only problem.

PORKY PIG wall plaque

  This rare find is a 4.5" wide by 5.5" tall lacquered wooden wall plaque showing Porky Pig marching along, holding his black-and-white ball cap high in the air with his right hand.  He wears a red jacket and a black bowtie.  The caption beneath his name says Porky Pig can laugh and sing.  This item was manufactured during the early 1940s as part of a set of wall plaques that included Petunia Pig, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Sniffles, the Bookworm, and Little Hoot.  Porky is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG firmly-stuffed doll

  This is a 7.5" firmly-stuffed cloth doll of Porky Pig, who is shown sitting with his arms and legs spread as far apart as they possibly can get.  He wears a pink ballcap, a black jacket, and a pink bowtie with white polka dots on it.  This doll has glued-on felt facial features and it is in NM+ condition.  Porky comes with his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into his left foot, and his original cardboard hang tag, which is affixed to his back.  It shows that he was manufactured by Dakin in 1975.

PORKY PIG postcard

  This is a 6.5x4.5" cardboard postcard showing Porky Pig waving with his raised right arm while holding his left hand behind his back.  He wears a blue jacket and a red bowtie, and is shown smiling happily.  He appears against a white backdrop and his name appears by his groin in red lettering.  This item is in unused, NM+ condition.  It was manufactured in 1994 by LMPC Impressions as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character postcards.

PORKY PIG child's cup

  This is a 4.25" pink plastic cup showing Porky Pig from the bowtie upward.  He has reflector eyes that change positions depending upon the angle at which they are viewed.  This item was manufactured sometime during the early 1960s and the copyright information provides no indication as to who made it.  Porky is in NM+ condition.  (As a side note, the company that made this item also manufactured Captain Kangaroo and Jiminy Cricket cups that are very similar in appearance.)

  This is a 15" stuffed cloth pillow (or pillow doll) of Porky Pig, who is shown waving with his raised right hand while he holds his red-and-blue baseball cap in his lowered left hand.  This item was manufactured sometime during the 1970s along with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sniffles, Elmer Fudd, and Tweety counterparts.  These pillow dolls were sew-it-yourself home crafts items.  Porky is undamaged but he does have some light water stains on his material, leaving him in VG+ condition.

PORKY PIG magazine advertisement

  This is a 13.5x10.25" magazine advertisement featuring an old-style Porky Pig standing with his arms outstretched from his sides while he looks off toward his left side.  Porky wears a violet jacket and a red bowtie with white polka dots.  This item appeared in a 1969 magazine (unknown which one) and is in near mint condition.

PORKY PIG beanbag doll -- January

  This is an 8" plush beanbag doll showing Porky Pig wearing a blue-and-red party hat, a blue jacket, a red bowtie, and a red satiny sash with 2000 on it in white lettering.  This item is in mint condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label and its original cardboard hang tag.  It was manufactured in 1999 for distribution in the Warner Brothers Studio Stores.  Originally, Porky was part of a 12-character set, each representing a different month of the year.  With his next-year sash and party hat, Porky is the January beanie from the set.

PORKY PIG bank

  This is an 8.25" vinyl bank showing Porky Pig happily standing with his hands clasped together behind his back.  He wears a blue jacket and a red bowtie and is standing on a three-tiered red pedestal bearing his name in black, block lettering.  This bank is in mint condition and it remains sealed inside of its original cellophane wrapping.  Porky was manufactured in 2003 but his copyright information does not indicate who made him.

PORKY PIG Houston Astros catcher figure

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Porky Pig dressed as a catcher for the Houston Astros.  He wears a red-and-black hat, a glove on his right hand, a white jersey, and a red chest guard that has a white baseball embedded in it in the center.  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original cardboard display box, which is designed to resemble a grassy baseball park surrounded by wooden fencing.  Porky was manufactured in 1990 by Applause as part of a 20-item set of Looney Tunes character baseball figures.  In the set, each character that was included was portrayed both as an American League and as a National League player.

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Porky Pig as a catcher for the Cleveland Indians.  He wears a glove on his right hand, a red-and-black hat, a white jersey, and a red chest protector with a white baseball embedded in it.  Porky is in mint condition and he comes with his original cardboard display box, which is designed to resemble a grassy baseball park surrounded by wooden fencing.  He was manufactured in 1990 by Applause as part of a 20-item set, with each character in the set appearing both as a National League and as an American League player.

  This is a 7" rubber squeak toy showing Porky Pig standing and looking off toward his right side, hands behind his back.  He wears a pointy red hat, a red jacket, and a yellow bowtie.  This item is in mint condition and it remains sealed inside of its original packaging, which is very rare to find.  Porky was manufactured by Sun Rubber sometime during the later 1940s.

PORKY PIG Christmas ornament

  This is a 3.75" blown-plastic Christmas ornament showing Porky Pig wearing a red nightshirt.  He is giving a thumbs-up sign with his right hand and has a red sack slung over his left arm.  This ornament is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original packaging.  The cardboard header card has colorful graphics showing Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Petunia Pig, Tweety, and Sylvester standing in front of their Christmas tree.  Porky was manufactured in 1975 by Ortex as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character ornaments.  Surprisingly enough, the company misspelled his name on the header card!

  This is a 4.25" blown plastic Christmas ornament showing Porky Pig waving.  He wears a red Santa Claus hat, a red shirt with a green button and a green bowtie.  He is in mint condition and remains sealed inside of his original packaging.  The cardboard header card has colorful graphics showing Elmer Fudd with a concertina, Tweety with a small Christmas tree, a running Road Runner, Daffy Duck with a light strand, the Warner Brothers shield, Sylvester with two bells, Porky Pig waving with three balloons, an angry Yosemite Sam, and Bugs Bunny with a red toy sack.  This item was manufactured in 1978 by Liberty Bell Christmas as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes character ornaments.

PORKY PIG rattle

  This is a 6.5" plastic rattle showing Porky Pig's smiling face looking off toward his left side.  He wears a red hat and a red bowtie.  The rattle's white handle is shaped like a twisted pole for a carousel horse, which appears inside of the rounded handle.  This item was manufactured in 1975 by Reliance Products along with Sylvester and Bugs Bunny counterparts.  Porky is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG treat sacks

  This is a package of eight 7.75x6" reinforced paper treat sacks, better known to most people as birthday party gift bags.  Each one shows Porky Pig standing amidst a large pile of fruit, baked goods, and candy.  He drops a marshmallow, two pieces of candy corn, one wrapped candy, and an apple from his raised left hand and holds a yellow lollipop that says Th-Th-That's All Folks! in his raised right fist.  The reverse side shows Porky Pig having eaten almost all of the goodies, holding his stomach, and pointing to a bubble caption saying These Goodies Belong to __________.  These items are in mint, unused condition and they remain sealed inside of their original plastic packaging.  They were manufactured by Ambassador in 1985 and originally sold for $1.19.

PORKY PIG pencil sharpener

  This is a 3" vinyl pencil sharpener showing Porky Pig holding a yellow ballcap in his right hand in front of his belly while he smiles and looks off toward his left side.  The actual pencil sharpener is attached to the reverse side of this item.  Porky is in mint, unused condition and he remains sealed inside of his original packaging.  The cardboard header card has colorful graphics showing Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn, the Warner Brothers shield, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and Speedy Gonzales.  This item was manufactured in 1979 as part of a 12-item Looney Tunes set, and the copyright does not indicate who the manufacturer was.

PORKY PIG squeak toy

  This is a 6.25" vinyl squeak toy showing Porky Pig holding his left hand behind his back while waving with his right hand.  He wears a pink baseball cap, a red bowtie, and a blue jacket.  When squeezed, Porky gives off a gentle squeaking sound.  He is in mint, unused condition and remains sealed inside of his original packaging.  The cardboard header card is purple in color and shows a happily-waving Bugs Bunny poking through a multi-colored Looney Tunes tunnel.  Porky was manufactured by Reliance Products in 1978.
