BUGS BUNNY nightlight

This beautiful item is one of the rarest pieces in my collection.  It is a 9.5" plastic nightlight of Bugs Bunny, who is shown leaning on a tree stump with his left elbow while holding a carrot in his right hand.  Bugs is yellowish-brown in color and he glows gently when plugged into a wall socket.  The nightlight is a copyrighted piece that probably dates to the earlier 1940s, shortly after Bugs Bunny's character was created.  The copyright information does not indicate who made this item.  Undamaged and with a few small spots of minor paint loss, this item is in near mint condition.

I still love it after all these years!!

BUGS BUNNY alarm clock

This is a 4.75" heavy-duty metal alarm clock with a black metallic art deco-style base.  The clock's face shows Bugs Bunny resting with his legs crossed as he chomps on a carrot.  When the clock is wound up, Bugs' left hand moved back and forth to simulate the motion of eating his carrot.  The clock keeps time and the alarm works just fine, although it often takes some jostling to get it going initially.  It was manufactured by Richie Prem. Corp. during the later 1940s.  The clock is in EX condition, with some age-related surface and interior wear being its main flaws, along with some paint wear on the black base supports.  Interestingly, the times listed on the click indicate things like 10 past and half past and 25 of the hour--something we virtually never see with American timepieces!
