This is a 5"
rubber bendy of Animal, manufactured by Just Toys sometime during the mid-1980s
or early 1990s. He is shown wearing a torn green tank top. torn blue
pants, and a yellow rope belt. This item is undamaged and all of the
bendable wires are contained securely inside of the rubber. Animal is in
NM+ condition.

ANIMAL (Muppets / Sesame Street) hand puppet as baby
Here, we have a
10" cloth and plush hand puppet of Animal as a baby, much as he appeared in
the 1980s Muppets Babies series. He wears a pale yellow shirt with
a white bow, and a lacy white bonnet. This Baby Animal has large plastic
eyes, a pink plush face, and two white felt fangs showing. The item has
some faint staining on the back of the bonnet and a small amount of paint wear
on the plastic eyes. Overall, it is in EX+ condition. This item was
manufactured by Dakin in 1988, as evidenced on the original manufacturer's label
that is located inside of Baby Animal's shirt.

ANIMAL (Muppets / Sesame Street) jointed figure
This is a
4.25" PVC figure showing Animal holding onto two yellow drumsticks.
He wears a white shirt with his name written on it in red lettering, along with
black pants and spiked grey wristbands. Animal has movable arms and a
swiveling head. He is in mint condition and was made to be a promotional
giveaway item by Jack in the Box fast food restaurants some time during the past
few years.

ANIMAL (Muppets / Sesame Street) doll
This is a 10.5" stuffed doll of the wild drummer,
Animal, from The Muppet Show. He has fuzzy pink whiskers, a white
cloth shirt, and blue denim jeans. Animal is shown with a silver chain
around his neck and bracelets and anklets matching it, suggesting that he broke
his chains of bondage in a fit of typical rage. This doll was manufactured
by Nanco, probably during the 1980s or early 1990s. The original
manufacturer's label is intact and sewn securely to Animal's right pant
leg. The doll is in mint condition.

ANIMAL (Muppets / Sesame Street) jointed figure
This is a
3.75" jointed PVC figure of Animal, who has movable arms. He wears a
yellow shirt with orange scrolling designs on it and blue pants tied with a
white "belt." He holds yellow drumsticks in each hand and is
shown crouching forward. This item was manufactured in 1978 by Fisher
Price as a figural stick puppet, part of a larger collection of Muppets
character stick puppets that the company made at that time. Animal is in
NM+ condition.

ANNIE OAKLEY musical
This is an
8.75" ceramic musical showing Annie Oakley standing in front of a white
post. She holds both hands in her orange fringe vest pockets, and also
wears a white cowboy (or cowgirl) hat, red pants, and white boots with a black
design on them. When the plastic base is wound up, the musical rotates and
plays Those Were the Days. The rotation and musical mechanisms both
work just fine. This item is completely free of damage and it has only
minimal paint wear, leaving it in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by
Schmid sometime during the 1960s or 1970s.

ARCHIE rolling car
This
is a plastic rolling toy of Archie, measuring 2.5" tall and 2.75" long.
Archie is shown wearing a blue shirt as he sits behind the steering wheel of his red
convertible jalopy. This item is in fine working order and is totally free of
damage. There are several spots of paint wear on the car, primarily on the
windshield and front grate. Overall, this item is in EX to EX+ condition. It
was manufactured in 1991 and was distributed by Burger King fast food restaurants as a
premium giveaway in their children's meals.

ARCHIES ring toss
Although listed
as an Archies item, this item actually features Jughead. It is a ring toss game that
comes complete with a cardboard standup figure of Jughead, a circular purple base in which
to stand the standup Jughead figure, one yellow plastic ring, and one purple plastic
ring. The item is in mint condition, having never been removed from its blisterpack
or mounting card. It was manufactured in 1987 by Ja-Ru, and measures
12"x6" in size. On the card, we see Jughead holding two rings angrily,
Archie holding both rings as if he's about to toss them, and Veronica looking lovingly at
Jughead, around whom she has just thrown several rings.

ARCHIES /JUGHEAD JR. SHAVER
This auction is
for a plastic toy shaving set featuring Archie's friend, Jughead. The mounting card
shows Jughead with a red and white polka dot towel around his waist, a red towel draped
over his shoulders, a face full of lather, and a shaving cream can applying more lather as
he shaves. The kit comes complete with a pink razor blade case and five plastic
would-be razors (1 green, 2 blue, 2 yellow), a blue and green plastic razor, and a small
can of Archie shaving cream. This item measures 9" tall by 6" wide and was
made by Ja-Ru in 1986. The set has never been removed from the original
clear-plastic blisterpack or the original cardboard mounting card. The blisterpack
is in perfect condition, and the mounting card has only one light crease across the
middle.

ARIEL (Little Mermaid / Walt Disney) ceramic figurine
This is a 6"
ceramic figurine showing Ariel swimming, leaning forward along a block of light
blue coral that has a tan starfish and some pink sea anemones on it. She
wears a purple shell bra and her red hair flows behind her. This item is
free of damage. Overall, it is in near mint condition, with a few small
spots of minor paint loss on the sides of Ariel's hair. There is no
indication anywhere on the item as to who made it or when it was manufactured,
although it is almost certainly a 1990s piece.

This is a
7.25" vinyl bank showing Ariel sitting on a mound of purple coral with a
pink snail shell in her lap. The bank's coin slot is located behind Ariel,
on top of the coral, and the original stopper is present. This bank is in
virtually perfect condition. The copyright information does not indicate
who made it or when it was manufactured, although it is probably a 1990s piece.

This is a
2.75" PVC figure of Ariel, who is shown leaning forward in a
diving/swimming pose, with her tail immersed in a translucent turquoise sea foam
type of base. This item was manufactured by Applause sometime during the
1990s. It bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking and is in nearly
perfect condition.

This is a
6.75" vinyl bank showing Ariel sitting on a blue block of coral that has
barnacles, a starfish, and a pink scallop shell on it. Her red hair blows
in the "sea" behind her, and she has a pink snail shell in her
lap. The bank's coin slot is located on top of the coral behind Ariel and
the original stopper is present underneath. This item is in NM+
condition. There is no indication anywhere on the bank as to who made it,
and although undated, this is probably a late 1980s or a 1990s piece.

This is a 6.5"
vinyl soap dish showing Ariel looking off toward her right side, smiling
sweetly, as she holds a large white scallop shell in front of her. This
item was manufactured by Avon sometime during the late 1980s or 1990s. It
is undamaged and has very little paint wear, leaving it in NM+ condition.

ARIEL (Little Mermaid / Walt Disney) wristwatch
This is an 8"
turquoise vinyl wristwatch with a pink buckle, with a cover that shows Ariel
sitting on a yellow boulder as she plays with her hair. The watch is in
mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original
clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original cardboard mounting
card. The mounting card has colorful graphics showing Ariel, Sebastian,
and Flounder swimming under the sea. Ariel was manufactured by Hope
Industries in 1989. It probably will need a new battery in order to be
used, even though the item is in perfect condition.

This is an
8.5" plastic nightlight showing Ariel sitting atop a chunk of light blue
coral with barnacles, a starfish, and a pink scallop shell on it. She
holds a snail shell in her lap. When the light is plugged in, it gives off
a pleasant glow. It was manufactured sometime during the 1990s by
Happiness Express. Ariel is in virtually perfect, working condition.

This is a
3.25" PVC figure showing Ariel sitting upright on her turquoise tail.

probably dates to the 1990s and there is no indication anywhere on it as to who
made it. Ariel is in mint condition.

ARIEL (Little Mermaid / Walt Disney) hand mirror
This is a
3.75" plastic hand mirror (safety mirror) showing Ariel with her tail
curled around the blue oval of the mirror. The original shell-shaped
safety mirror paper sticker remains intact on the mirror's surface. This
item is in near mint condition, with light wear on the mirror's surface being
its only flaw. Ariel was manufactured in 1993 by Tsumura International.

This is a 2"
porcelain bell-style Christmas ornament showing Ariel swimming underneath the

Flounder. The bell is white and it has a band of gold trim around the
lower portion. It is in mint condition and retains its original gold lame
hanging cord. This item was manufactured by Grolier Collectibles sometime
during the 1990s.

This is a pair of

This is a 6.5" ceramic musical of one of the
unnamed Aristocats,
strolling along a flower-covered grassy area, strumming a pink guitar. The
cat is tan in color and is wearing a white necklace with blue beads. When
the base is wound up, the musical revolves and plays the Beatles song I Want
to Hold Your Hand. The rotation and musical mechanisms both work just
fine. This item was manufactured by Schmid sometime during the 1960s or
1970s, and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking. This
item is in mint condition and it retains all of its original stickers.

ARISTOCATS (Walt Disney) ceramic figurines
Here, we have two items from the same set, sold separately for collectors who
may have one but not the other. Both are 4.5" tall and both are made
of unglazed ceramic, featuring two of the kittens in Walt Disney's animated
feature-length cartoon The Aristocats. One (Toulouse) is orange in color with
a pale tan tuft of hair, with a blue felt bowtie. The other (Marie) is white in
color with a pale grey tuft of hair, with a pink felt bowtie. Both are in
virtually perfect condition and both come with their original shiny gold
cardboard hang tags. These figurines were manufactured by Enesco in 1968
and both bear the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.

This is a 6.5"
vinyl soaky showing one of the Aristocats--Marie, perhaps?--sitting on her hind
legs, with her right paw raised by her chest. She is pale grey in color,
with a pink tongue and a pink collar around her neck. This item is in mint
condition, although the original contents have been used up. This item
comes with its colorful original box, showing the cat perched on top of her pink
throne in her pink bedroom. The box is in very nice condition, with no
damage and some very minor edge wear. This item was manufactured by Avon
sometime during the early 1970s.

This is a
6.75" ceramic musical featuring one of the hep cats (Scat Cat, perhaps?)
from Walt Disney's feature-length animated film The Aristocats standing
on a flowery grassy area while playing a yellow horn. Beside his right
foot, there is a duffel bag. When the plastic base is wound, the musical
rotates and plays When the Saints Go Marching In. The musical and
rotation mechanisms both work just fine. This item is in virtually perfect
condition. It was manufactured by Schmid sometime during the later 1960s
or 1970s.

This is a
6.25" composition bank, showing one of the kittens from Walt Disney's
feature-length animated cartoon The Aristocats sitting on all
fours. The cat is orange in color with a white chest, black wiry whiskers,
a blonde tuft of hair, and a blue felt bowtie. The coin slot is located on
the back of the head and the original generic black rubber stopper is present
underneath the feet. This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during
the 1960s, and the original red-and-gold manufacturer's sticker is
present. This item has virtually no paint loss and its only flaw is some
chipping of the upper corner and side of the cat's left ear, which is visible in
the photograph if you look carefully at it. Overall, this rare kitty is in
pretty nice shape!

This is a 6.5"
ceramic musical featuring two of the main characters (Duchess and Marie,
possibly?) from Walt Disney's animated feature-length cartoon The Aristocats.
They are shown sitting together on a grassy area that is decorated with two
yellow flowers and one pink flower. The mother cat looks lovingly downward
and toward her left at her kitten, and is shown with her right paw raised.
The kitten sits on all fours and has a red bow around its neck. When the
plastic base is wound, the musical revolves and plays La Vie En Rose.
The music and rotating mechanisms both work just fine. This item was
manufactured by Schmid sometime during the 1970s. It bears the Walt Disney
Productions copyright marking and still retains its original manufacturer's
sticker underneath the base. It is free of damage and has only minimal
paint wear, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.

ARISTOCATS (Walt Disney) pitcher
This is a 7.5"
white ceramic pitcher featuring three of the characters from Walt Disney's
feature-length animated cartoon The Aristocats. These include the
girl kitten, Marie, who is shown sitting and looking over her right shoulder,
and two of the Hep Cat band members, one playing a brown guitar and one playing
a red and green concertina. The pitcher is in mint condition. It was
manufactured by Bareuther and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright
marking, suggesting that the piece was manufactured sometime during the later
1960s or earlier 1970s.

ARLENE (Garfield) plush doll -- medium
This is the
medium-sized plush doll of Garfield's girlfriend, Arlene. She is 7"
tall and is shown sitting with her head raised and her tail raised and curled
behind her. Arlene has plastic eyes and big red felt lips. She was
manufactured by Dakin in 1984, as indicated on the original manufacturer's label
that is sewn into her hind left foot. Undamaged and with minor use-related
surface soiling, Arlene is in near mint condition.

ARLENE (Garfield) plush doll -- small
This is a 6" plush doll of Garfield's love interest,
Arlene. She is shown sitting on all fours with her tail raised in the air,
bright red lipstick on her face, and with a blasé expression on her glued-on
plastic eyes. This doll was manufactured by Dakin in 1984. It
retains its original cardboard hangtag and its original manufacturer's label,
both of which are in nice condition. Arlene shows minor evidence of use
and wear, and overall is in NM to NM+ condition.

ARNOLD HORSHACK (Welcome Back Kotter) action figure
This is a
8.75" jointed vinyl action figure of Ron Palillo's character, Arnold
Horshack, from the 1970s television series Welcome Back Kotter. He
wears a red sweater, a blue-and-white striped scarf, a green jacket, blue jeans,
and black shoes, and has a grey lunchbox with him. This item is in mint
condition and remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack
and still mounted on its original cardboard mounting card. The mounting
card has a colorful image of Mr. Kotter and the Sweathogs and the back of the
card has a different black-and-white image of them. This figure was
manufactured by Mattel in 1976 along with Mr. Kotter, Vinnie Barbarino, Juan
Epstein, and Freddie Washington counterparts. The mounting card is intact
and undamaged, although it does have some edge and corner wear. The figure
of Arnold Horshack is perfect.

ARTHUR (Babar) rolling toy
This is a
1.75" tall by 2.25" long plastic rolling toy of Arthur, from the Babar
storybooks and cartoons. Arthur wears a white hat with a red pompon on top
and a white shirt with a red bib. He drives a topless yellow car.
The wheels work fine, enabling this toy to roll along well on any hard, smooth
surface. Arthur was distributed as a premium giveaway in Arby's fast food
restaurants in 1992. He is in mint condition.

ARTHUR & ZEPHIR (Babar) vinyl figure
This
is a 3.5" soft vinyl figure of Babar's friend, Arthur, and his monkey friend, Zephir.
Arthur is wearing a white sailor's cap with a black brim, a white sailor's
shirt with a maroon neckerchief, maroon shorts, and maroon shoes. Zephir sits on his
outstretched left arm, wearing a yellow shirt with white collar, white shorts, and a
maroon cap. This item was manufactured in 1990, but the maker is not indicated on
the copyright information. The item is undamaged and has only a few small spots of
minor paint loss, leaving it in NM- to NM condition overall.

This is a
2.75" plastic rolling toy showing Astro sitting inside of a blue
star-shaped space vehicle with black wheels. When the toy is placed on a
hard, smooth surface, it can be rolled along easily. Astro is panting and
he wears a green collar around his neck. This item was manufactured as a
fast food premium giveaway by Wendy's restaurants in 1989 as part of a set that
also included George Jetson, Elroy Jetson, Jane Jetson, Judy Jetson, and Mr.
Spacely. Currently, we have the entire set in stock. This item is in
NM+ condition.

This is an 8"
plush doll showing Astro standing on all fours, as if walking. He wears a
green collar around his neck and is shown with his tail pointing up in the
air. Astro has glued-on plastic eyes. This doll is in EX to EX+
condition. There is one area (visible in the photograph accompanying this
description) by Astro's left shoulder where the plush has some surface soil on
it. With a careful cleaning, it probably will come out; but we were
reluctant to try this for fear of damaging the soft plush. If that dirty
area comes clean, then the doll would be in nearly perfect condition. It
was manufactured by Applause and probably dates to the later 1980s or earlier
1990s.

This is a
3.75" vinyl figure of Astro, shown in a walking pose with his tail up and
his tongue sticking out. The figure doubles both as a Christmas ornament
(complete with hanging loop on the back of his green dog collar) and a digital
battery-operated clock. This item is in mint, unused condition. It
comes with its original box, which is in nice condition, with some edge and
corner wear. This item was manufactured by Radio Shack in 1999.

and can be rolled easily along any hard, smooth surface. Astro was
manufactured by Applause in 1990 as part of a complete Jetsons character
set. He is undamaged and in near mint condition, with a few small marks on
his left cheek.

ASTRO & ELROY JETSON (Jetsons / Hanna Barbera) mountable clock
This is a 3.75" three-dimensional wall-mountable
plastic clock showing Elroy Jetson lovingly hugging his pet pal Astro, as Astro
sits and licks Elroy's chin and cheek. This item is in mint, unused
condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack
and mounted on its original cardboard mounting card. The mounting card has
colorful graphics showing Astro, Orbity, and Elroy standing on a planet's
surface. The mounting card has some edge wear and some surface crinkling,
but is intact and generally in nice condition. The clock will need a new
battery in order to work, but is in perfect condition. This item was
manufactured in 1990 by Innovative Time Corporation.

ASTRO, ORBITY, & ELROY JETSON (Jetsons / Hanna Barbera) nightlight
This rare item is a
3.5" tall by 6" long bisque nightlight showing Astro sleeping at the
front of Orbity and Elroy Jetson's bed. The bed is blue and they are
covered with a rusty-red blanket. When plugged in, this nightlight gives
off a gentle glow. It was manufactured in 1986 by Giftique and is in mint,
working condition.

ATOM ANT (Hanna Barbera) soaky
During the
mid-1960s, Purex released a series of soakies as part of its Bubble Club series,
each featuring a different Hanna Barbera cartoon character. This is one of
those soakies, featuring Atom Ant, who is shown standing with his arms bent
akimbo at the hips. He is principally orange in color, with a white helmet
and a yellow muzzle. The pink paint on his legs and "A" has, for
the most part, worn off, as has a great deal of the yellow muzzle paint.
This item is free of damage and, overall, in VG condition. The condition
downgrade has been made strictly due to the paint loss just mentioned.

AUGIE DOGGIE (Hanna Barbera) squeak toy
This is a very rare jointed
rubber squeak toy of Augie Doggie, standing 7.75" tall. It is pale
yellow in color, with black ears, a black hair tuft, black nose, flesh-colored
muzzle, and a light blue dog collar. The arms move and the torso swivels
just above the legs. When squeezed, this item gives off a gentle squeaking
sound. It was manufactured by Bucky in 1973 along with many other Hanna
Barbera cartoon characters that were popular during the 1960s and early
1970s. Augie Doggie has no damage and some small spots of paint loss on
his nose, hair, and dog collar. Overall, he is in EX to EX+ condition.

AUGIE DOGGIE (Hanna Barbera) soaky
This is a 10"
soaky bottle of Augie Doggie, who is shown standing atop a bright orange tree
stump. He has both arms by his sides and is wearing a green shirt and
collar around his neck. This item was manufactured during the 1960s by
Purex as part of its Bubble Club series, several others of which we also have in
stock at this time. Augie Doggie has no damage anywhere on his vinyl body
or plastic head. He does have spots of paint loss on his nose, muzzle,
right ear, and shirt, though. Overall, this item is in VG+ to EX-
condition.
