GALEN (Planet of the Apes)
bank
This is a
10.5" hard vinyl bank of Galen from the 1960s movie The Planet of the
Apes. Originally, this item was sold along with a Dr. Zaius
counterpart. Galen is shown standing against a tattered brick wall with
part of a building column resting by his left leg. He wears a brown jacket
with a yellow insignia on the chest and has brown pants. The bank's coin
slot is located on top of the brick wall behind him and the original plastic
stopper is present underneath the base. This bank is free of damage and
has only minor paint loss, leaving it in near mint condition. It was
manufactured by Play Pal Plastics in 1974.

This is a
2.25" PVC figure showing Garfield holding a rolled-up diploma in his raised
right hand. He sits with his legs extended in front of him atop a pink 89
that is molded out of a thick blue base. This item was probably made in
1989, and the copyright information gives no indication of the
manufacturer. Undamaged and with very minimal paint loss, this figure is
in no worse than near mint condition.

This is a 3"
ceramic figurine showing Garfield as a smart-looking student. He wears
black horned-rim glassed, a green bowtie, and a light blue shirt. He holds
a red textbook in his right arm. This item was manufactured during the
1980s by Enesco, and the original gold foil copyright sticker is intact on the
underside of the figurine. Garfield is in near mint condition, with two
tiny surface nicks on the back of his head being his only flaws.

Not on
his soapbox but, instead, perched atop his philosophizing pedestal, this ceramic Garfield
has a caption reading "Life is a healthy respect for Mother Nature laced with a
little greed." The item is 5" tall and in mint condition. The
original gold foil Enesco sticker is on the bottom of the pedestal, and most of it is
intact. This item was manufactured sometime during the 1980s.

From the top of his
white cloth chef's hat to the soles of his feet, this plush Garfield doll stands
11.5" tall. He has a plastic spoon attached to his left hand and
wears a white bib that says The Best Things in Life Are Edible! in red,
block lettering. The doll has one surface mark on Garfield's right eyelid
(visible in the photograph accompanying this description) and otherwise is in
perfect condition. It was manufactured sometime during the 1980s by Dakin.

Garfield" toy
This is a
2.75" plastic rolling toy showing Garfield perched inside of his red bed
(which resembles a litter box), leaning forward, with his blue blanket blowing
in the wind behind him. This toy was named Racin' Garfield by the
manufacturer, Playmates, when it was manufactured in 1991. Garfield is in
mint condition, having never been removed from his clear-plastic blisterpack or
his original colorful cardboard mounting card. This toy was part of a
four-item set that also included Cat Nappin' Garfield, Racin' Garfield, Mousin'
Garfield, and Toilet Bowlin' Odie.

This is a 2.5"
resin Christmas ornament showing Garfield as the popping-out part of a
jack-in-the-box. He wears a Santa Claus hat and is perched atop a
spring. This item is in mint condition and it remains stored inside of its
original box with the cellophane window. The box has fun graphics showing
Garfield, and indicates that this ornament was entitled Cat-in-the-Box
when it was manufactured by Enesco. This item probably dates to the 1980s
and it was manufactured as part of a larger collection of Garfield Christmas
ornaments.

Easter Bunny
This cute item is a
4.5" plush hugger doll of Garfield, who is dressed like the Easter Bunny,
complete with a fuzzy white cottontail and white ears with pink insides.
His arms are positioned tightly together, enabling him to be affixed to any
thin, sturdy surface to hug it. This doll is in NM+ condition and was
manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

This is a
6.75" hard vinyl figure of Garfield, who is shown wearing a Santa Claus
outfit with fuzzy white trim and a black crushed velvet belt. The figure
is in NM+ condition and it appears never to have been played with. It
retains its original cardboard hang tag. Garfield was manufactured by
Enesco sometime during the 1990s. Originally, he sold for $5.99 according
to the original price sticker which remains in place on the back of the hang
tag.

This is a hand-carved wooden
Christmas ornament of Garfield, who is shown popping out of the top of a
drum. In both hands, he holds gold drumsticks. Around him is the
shattered white surface of the drum, which itself is green, red, and gold.
This is a fully-licensed product that comes with its original gold foil sticker
on the underside of the drum. It was manufactured by Dakin, probably
during the later 1980s or 1990s. This item has no damage and only minor
paint loss, leaving it in NM+ condition. We have several others from this
set in stock at this time as well.

This is a
3.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Garfield as a baseball player who is
preparing to bat a purple Christmas ornament that is attached to the top of his
red-and-white ballcap by a wire. He wears a green jersey with white and
red stripes, blue pants, and white cleated shoes with red trim. This item
has a K in black on the underside of one shoe and a 94 on the other, and
otherwise is in mint condition. It comes with its original box, which is
in fairly nice condition (with two small seam tears on back), and its original
clear-plastic protective insert. Garfield was manufactured by Matrix in
1996 as part of a larger set of Garfield and friends Christmas ornaments.

This is a 3.5" plush hugger figure showing Garfield
dressed in a white sailor's outfit, complete with shirt and hat. The blue,
block-lettering on the side of his shirt says Mom always liked me best.
Garfield's arms and hands are fashioned in such a way that they enable him to
grasp onto a thin object and then hang from it. This item was manufactured
by Dakin sometime during the 1980s. The original manufacturer's label is
intact and sewn into Garfield's tail. This item is undamaged and shows
only minor signs of use or wear, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.

plush doll showing Garfield standing with his arms outstretched from his
sides. He wears a red faux leather fireman's hat with a yellow felt
pentagonal shield on it saying G Brigade in black lettering. The
doll is in NM- condition, with age-related wear on the hat and some light smudge
marks on Garfield's plastic eyeballs being his main flaws. This doll was
manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s. The original
manufacturer's label is present and in nice condition, sewn securely into
Garfield's rear end.

This very unusual
find is a 4" ceramic Irish coffee mug featuring Garfield. He sits
with a yellow lyre in his lap, and as he plays and makes the music, shamrocks
rather than musical notes form off of the sides of the musical staff.
Above his image, Ireland appears in green lettering; below his image, his
name appears in red lettering. This item is in mint condition and it
retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker. It was manufactured
by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.

hand, Garfield holds a baguette. This item was manufactured sometime
during the 1980s in Germany by Bully, and it was hand-painted. It is in

6.75" metallic twin-bell alarm clock with a plastic face, showing Garfield

inserts, and there is a possibility that this item has never been used
before. It was manufactured by Sunbeam sometime during the earlier 1990s.

probably dates to the 1980s, but there is no indication anywhere on it as to who
made it or when it was manufactured. Garfield is in nearly perfect

better . . . Maybe a little richer. Happy Father's Day! This
item is in mint condition. It was manufactured by Enesco during the 1980s.

This item was manufactured during the early 1980s by Aviva as part of a larger
collection of Garfield trophies, each showing him in a different pose and
bearing a different, appropriate caption on the metallic face plate on the
trophy's black rectangular base. This item retains its original gold foil
manufacturer's label and its original red felt protective covering underneath
the base. It is undamaged and appears to be lighter in color than many
Garfield items, perhaps due to slight fading. If this is fading-related,
then this item is in NM- to NM condition; if it is not fading-related, then the
item is in NM+ condition.

hand. The tooth says Tooth Fairy on it in mustard-colored
lettering. This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it comes with

Here's a scary thought for you
to contemplate: Garfield as your housekeeper/maid! Well, here he is,
complete with a red-and-white checked babushka, a blue feather duster in his
right hand, and a white apron that plainly (and truthfully) states I don't do
windows. This doll is made of a rich plush and stands 9"
tall. It was manufactured by R. Dakin Company during the 1980s along with
many other cute Garfield plush dolls, several of which we have in stock at this
time. This item retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in
very nice condition and sewn securely into Garfield's left hip. It is in
NM to NM+ condition, with specks of paint loss on Garfield's left eye and
nose. We don't know about you, but we think we'd prefer dust bunnies
galore to "merry maid" Garfield here!

manufactured by R. Dakin Company sometime during the 1990s as part of a larger
collection of Garfield wooden Christmas ornaments. (We have several others
in stock at this time, too.) This item is free of damage and has only

This is a
4.25" ceramic figurine showing Garfield wearing a Santa Claus hat. He
smiles sweetly and has both eyes closed, and is shown popping out of a green mug
with the word Cheers written on it diagonally in black block
lettering. This item was manufactured during the 1980s by Enesco.
There is a single small fleabite on the rim of the coffee mug (visible in the
photograph, near Garfield's left arm. The item has no other damage.
There are some spots of minor paint loss on the green cold paint as well.

GARFIELD Christmas ornament

This is a
3.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Garfield wearing a Santa Claus hat
and peeing through the hole of a strawberry-glazed donut with a turquoise ribbon
on top of it. The caption beneath his chin says Season's Eatings in
turquoise lettering. This ornament is in mint condition and it comes with
its original box, which also retains its original clear-plastic protective
insert. Garfield was manufactured in 1996 by Matrix Industries as part of
a larger collection of Garfield (and friends) ornaments.

GARFIELD crouching figurine
This is a
2x5.25" ceramic figurine showing Garfield crouching on the ground, as if he
is about to pounce on something or someone. He has a sly, concentrating
expression on his face and his ears are positioned behind him. This item
is in NM+ condition and it retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker
on the underside of the figurine. Garfield was manufactured by Enesco
sometime during the later 1980s or earlier 1990s.

GARFIELD vase
This item is a
5" ceramic vase, featuring Garfield clawing onto the side of a hollow tree
trunk. He has his usual evil grin on his face as he holds onto the tree
for fun. This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the
1980s. There is no paint wear anywhere on the item. Its only flaw is
a very tiny nick on the lip of the
tree trunk, where the flowers are placed. Overall, this item is in NM to
NM+ condition--quite nice for one of the less-commonly-found Garfield
items!

This is a 10"
plush doll showing Garfield standing as a magician. He holds a black magic
wand in his right hand and his black crushed-velvet top hat in his left
hand. Garfield wears a black bowtie, a white vest, and white spats.
He is in NM+ condition and retains his original manufacturer's label, which is
in nice condition and sewn securely into the back of his left thigh. This
doll was manufactured by Dakin sometime around 1990.

This is a
blown-glass Christmas ornament of Garfield. The item is in mint condition,
still contained inside of its original box, which also has the original clear
plastic front window and the original plastic insert. Garfield is
4.5" tall and is shown standing with his arms crossed in front of his
chest, with a big smirk on his face. This item was manufactured by Kurt S.
Adler during the later 1990s.
