ALBERT ALLIGATOR (Pogo / Walt Kelly) jointed figure

  This is a 5.5" jointed vinyl figure of Albert Alligator, originally manufactured in 1969 as part of a six-item set that also included Beauregard Hound, Howland Owl, Churchy LaFemme, Pogo Possum, and Porky Pine.  (At present, we have the entire set in stock.)  These items were distributed as part of a promotional giveaway along with detergent at that time.  Albert has a yellow belly and an orange scarf around his neck, and holds a black cigar butt in his left hand.  He is free of damage and is in virtually perfect condition.

ALBERT ALLIGATOR (Pogo / Walt Kelly) cup/mug

  This is a 4.25" plastic cup/mug with a handle hanging off of its side.  It is bright yellow in color and has an Albert Alligator decal on the side.  Albert is shown standing with a cigar butt in his right hand as he looks upward with a rather forlorn expression on his face.  This item was manufactured during the early 1970s as part of a set that also included Pogo Possum, Beauregard Hound, Howland Owl, Churchy LaFemme, and Porky Pine.  There is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.  This cup has very little surface wear and no damage, leaving it in NM+ condition.

ALF plush hand puppet -- born to rock

  Bruce Springsteen, move over!  This is an 11.5" plush hand puppet showing Alf wearing a black Born to Rock cloth shirt and a red-and-white striped bandanna around his head.  This item was manufactured in 1988 by Alien Productions.  It still retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn securely into Alf's rear left hip.  This item is undamaged and has virtually no evidence of wear or use, leaving it in virtually perfect, original condition.  Alf even retains his original cardboard guitar.

ALF plush hand puppet -- baseball player

  This is an 11" plush hand puppet showing Alf as a baseball player for the Orbiters.  He wears a red satin baseball cap and a matching jersey, with the team's name and logo on front in white lettering.  Attached to Alf's left hand is his original cardboard baseball mitt, which is almost always missing when this item is found nowadays.  This item was manufactured in 1988 and was distributed by Burger King fast food restaurants as part of a four-item set.  Alf is in mint condition.

ALF coffee cup / mug

  This is a 3.75" heavy-duty glazed earthenware coffee cup / mug of Alf.  The mug is white and it shows Alf admiring himself in a blue hand mirror.  The red, block lettering caption above him says You're one of my favorite aliens.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Russ Berrie in 1987.

ALF plush hand puppet -- chef

  This plush Alf hand puppet is nearly 12" tall.  It shows our favorite Alien as a French chef, complete with a brown moustache, white beret-style chef's hat, and a white apron that says Cookin' with Alf on it in blue lettering.  This item was manufactured in 1988 and it bears an Alien Productions copyright on its label, which is in great condition and sewn securely into Alf's left hip.  This hand puppet is in virtually perfect condition.

ALF coffee cup / mug -- party alien

  This is a 3.75" earthenware coffee cup / mug showing Alf dancing.  He wears yellow sun glasses and a red necktie.  Above and below him, there is blue, block lettering labeling him the Party Alien as he dances with confetti around him.  The mug is in near mint condition, with minor wear on one of the two identical Alf images on the mug.  This item was manufactured by Russ Berrie in 1987.

ALF shaggy doll

  From the soles of his feet to the top of the raised tuft of hair on his head, this Alf doll is 19" tall.  It is made of a stuffed cloth material and is covered with a shaggy brown fur.  Alf has embedded black plastic eyeballs and embedded white plastic teeth.  He was manufactured by Coleco in 1986 and is in virtually perfect condition (with the only "flaw" being some play-related matting of his fur).  His original manufacturer's label is intact, written on, and sewn securely into the back of Alf's left leg.

ALF vinyl figure

  This odd item is a 3.25" vinyl figure showing Alf standing with his eyes closed, leaning forward, puckering, as he awaits a kiss.  He wears a pink outfit with a white neck ruffle and is shown standing on a grey slab-like rectangular base.  This item was manufactured in 1990 and was distributed as a premium giveaway by Wendy's fast food restaurants.  Alf is undamaged and there are just a few tiny spots of minor paint loss on the item, leaving it in no worse than near mint condition.  As Alf himself would say, his condition is No Problem!!

ALF hugger figure

  This is a 3.5" plush hugger / clip-on figure of Alf.  He is shown sitting with his hands and legs in front of him.  His hands are positioned tightly together, enabling him to grab onto any thin, firm surface and hang onto it.  There is no indication on this item as to who made it or when it was manufactured, although Alf is probably a later 1980s piece.  He is in nearly perfect condition, with minor matting of his shaggy brown fur being his only (very minor) flaw.

ALF plush hand puppet -- surfer

  This is an 11.5" fuzzy plush hand puppet showing Alf as a surfer, complete with a turquoise cloth Hawaiian-style shirt and a cardboard surfboard decorated with a palm tree in the island surf.  The surfboard is usually missing whenever this item is found nowadays, as are Alf's cardboard sunglasses, which are also present with this particular item.  This hand puppet was manufactured in 1988 as part of a four-puppet set distributed by Burger King fast food restaurants.  Other than some creasing on the cardboard surfboard and sunglasses, this item is in perfect condition.

ALF stick-up doll

  This is a 7.5" plush stick-up (or Stick-Around, as the packaging says) doll of Alf, who is shown with suction cups attached to his palms.  This item is in mint, unused condition and has never been removed from its original cardboard display box.  Alf was manufactured by Coleco in 1988 and the back of the box shows numerous other Alf products that were released as part of this particular item's original product line.

ALF cake pan

  This is a 12.5" aluminum cake pan showing Alf with his mouth open (as if to impart some of his many words of wisdom) and his right index finger raised (as if he is about to make a point).  This item is in virtually perfect, unused condition.  It comes with its original paper insert, the original instruction booklet, and rarest of all, the original cardboard face of Alf that can be placed on top of any cakes prepared with this cake pan.  Alf was manufactured by Wilton in 1988.

ALF plush hugger doll

  This is a 6.25" plush doll of Alf, who is shown sitting with his feet and hands extended in front of him.  His hands can be separated and used to grab onto something, making him a hugger doll.  This item is in virtually perfect condition, and it retains its original gold foil copyright sticker and its original cardboard hang tag.  Alf was manufactured in 1988 by Russ Berrie and Company.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Walt Disney) ceramic figurine -- larger size

  This is a 6.25" ceramic figurine of Alice in Wonderland, who is shown standing in front of a green grassy area.  She wears a black bow in her hair, a white apron, a pastel blue dress, white stockings, and black shoes.  This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and dates to the 1960s or 1970s.  This figurine is in mint condition.

  This is a 5.25" ceramic figurine showing Alice in Wonderland waving with her upwardly-bent left hand.  She holds her right hand by her neckline and is shown wearing a purple bow in her hair, a pale blue dress, a white apron, white stockings, and black shoes.  She stands on an oval base that is decorated with yellow and mulberry-colored flowers.  This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and was manufactured in 1960.  Alice has no damage anywhere on her and she is in virtually perfect condition.  Nothing written on the item provides any indication of the manufacturer.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Walt Disney) trinket box

  This is a porcelain footed trinket box of Alice in Wonderland, who is shown surrounded by oversized flowering plants.  The lid has a 3.5" diameter and the box stands nearly 2.5" tall.  Alice herself is shown wearing a blue dress, a white apron, white stockings, and black shoes as she stands happily clasping her hands by her neckline.  This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the 1970s.  It is in mint condition and there is no indication of who made the item.

  This is a 5.25" plastic figure showing Alice in Wonderland standing on a flowery oval area.  She wears a light blue dress with a white apron, white stockings, and black shoes.  The figure is in near mint condition, with no damage and only minor surface paint loss.  It was manufactured sometime around 1960 and the copyright information does not indicate who made it.

  This is a 3" bisque figurine showing Alice in Wonderland listening to a purple seashell that she holds up to her right ear.  She stands on a round light green base and wears a black bow in her hair, a white apron, a light blue dress, and black shoes.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured in 1988 as part of a larger collection of Walt Disney cartoon character figures, and the copyright information underneath the base does not indicate who made the item.

  This is a 5.5" ceramic figurine of Alice in Wonderland, who is shown standing in front of a pale green grassy area with her hands by her sides.  She wears a black bow in her hair, a white apron, a light blue dress, white stockings, and black shoes.  This figurine was manufactured by United Cutlery and Glass Company sometime during the 1970s or early 1980s, and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.  This item has no damage anywhere on it and there are two specks of paint loss on the front hem of Alice's dress.  Overall, the figurine is in NM+ condition.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) soaky -- red/yellow AND red/white versions

a0800116.JPG (9665 bytes)  During the 1960s, Colgate-Palmolive manufactured several dozen plastic or plastic-and-vinyl soakies of the most popular cartoon characters of the day.  This one stands 10.5" tall and features Alvin from the Chipmunks cartoons in one of several variations that the company released.  He is shown standing atop one yellow and one red book, wearing a long red sweater with a large yellow "A" on front, and holding a harmonica behind his back.  This item retains its original screw-on caps and is not damaged anywhere.  Paint loss is minimal, confined primarily to the edges of Alvin's sweater.  Overall, is in NM- condition condition.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) vinyl bank

This colorful item is a 9" vinyl bank showing Alvin standing, smiling, and looking upward.  He wears a red baseball cap, a red floor-length sweater with a large yellow "A" on it, and white sneakers with blue accents on top.  He is shown holding a blue harmonica in his hands.  The coin slot is located on top of Alvin's baseball cap and a snug-fitting replacement stopper is present underneath the bank.  Alvin was manufactured in 1984 by CBS Toys.  It is in virtually perfect condition.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) soaky

  This is the smaller (8.5") variety of the 1960s Colgate-Palmolive soakies featuring Alvin.   Here, Alvin is shown wearing a white sweater with a black "A" on it.   Behind his back, he has his hands, which are holding a flesh-colored harmonica.   Alvin is wearing his original red plastic baseball cap, which can be unscrewed to allow access to where the shampoo was originally stored.  Overall, this item is in NM condition, with one tiny area of paint loss on the side of the "A" and a small rough area along the brim of his ballcap.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) Christmas doll

  This is a spongy stuffed cloth doll of Alvin, who is decked out for Christmas.  He wears a Santa Claus hat, green mittens, a long deep red sweater with a large yellow A on it, and black slippers with white socks.  In his right hand, Alvin holds a royal blue Christmas stocking with a white top.  This doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Toy Works sometime during the later 1990s or earlier 2000s along with Simon and Theodore counterparts.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) inside a car snowdome rolling toy

  This is a plastic rolling toy with Alvin inside the pink car.  Surrounding Alvin is a plastic dome filled with water and glitter . . . just like a snowdome.  Alvin is shown with a green-and-white gift by his side as he plays his bright yellow guitar.  The car is 2.5" tall and 2.75" long, and is in NM condition.  It was manufactured in 1994 and was distributed as a fast food giveaway by the Carl's Jr. restaurant chain.

  This is a 12" plush doll of Alvin, originally sold along with Theodore and Simon counterparts.  Alvin was manufactured in 1983 by CBS Toys.  He wears a red cloth baseball cap and a long red cloth sweater/shirt with a large yellow "A" on the front.  This item is in NM+ condition.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) soap dispenser

  This is a 10" plastic liquid soap dispenser showing Alvin standing with a yellow "soap bar" in his hands.  The "o" is removable, and that is where the liquid soap can be refilled.  In front of Alvin's feet, there is also a white curved soap dish, enabling this item to be used to hold a bar of soap, too.  Alvin wears his usual red baseball cap, red sweater with the large yellow A on it, and blue sneakers with white soles.  This item is in mint, unused condition and it comes with its original box.  The box has some edge, corner, and shelf wear, but is intact and in EX+ condition.  Alvin was manufactured in 1984 by Helm Toy.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) jack-in-the-box

  When displayed as shown in the picture, this plastic jack-in-the-box of Alvin stands 9" tall.  The pop-up portion shows Alvin sitting with his legs in front of him, playing a yellow harmonica.  He wears a red baseball cap, a long red sweater with a large yellow "A" on it, and white sneakers.  The facades of the jack-in-the-box bear images of Alvin singing into a blue microphone (front), Theodore playing an orange drum (right), Simon playing a purple guitar (back), and all three Chipmunks playing their instruments together (left).  This item is free of damage, has only minimal paint wear, but does have some wrinkling of the paper on the side decals.  When the yellow handle is cranked, the toy plays Pop Goes the Weasel.  The musical mechanism works just fine, as does the pop-up mechanism.  This item was manufactured by Child Guidance for CBS Toys in 1983.  Overall, it is in near mint condition.

ALVIN (Chipmunks) talking doll

  This is a 19" plush doll of Alvin.  He is wearing a red baseball cap and an ankle-length red cloth sweater with a large yellow "A" on the chest.  He also has white sneakers with orange laces and grey soles.  On back, Alvin has a pull string that, when used, makes him say things like Alvin loves you and Hi, I'm Alvin! and You're just great, among others.  The talking mechanism works fairly well, and although it is a bit on the garbled side, Alvin still can be understood if you listen carefully.  He was made in 1983 by CBS Toys along with Simon and Theodore counterparts.  This doll has no damage and only very minor signs of use-related wear.  It is in near mint condition.

AMAZING CHAN (Hanna Barbera) cork gun set

  This rare find is an 8.25x7.5" plastic cork gun set featuring the Amazing Chan from Hanna Barbera's 1970s animated cartoon series The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan.  The item consists of four small cork "bullets," a red plastic cork gun with an image of Amazing Chan on the side, and two stand-up targets of two of his enemies.  The toy is in mint, unused condition, and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and inside of its original box.  The box has three side tears (all of which are clearly visible in the photograph accompanying this description), but is completely intact.  It has colorful graphics on the front, and a plain white back.  This toy was manufactured by Larami in 1973.

ANDY CAPP trophy

  This tough find is a 5.75" plastic trophy showing Andy Capp standing at a brown bar with a white drink cup in hand.  He wears a red cap, a red scarf, a green jacket, green pants, and yellow shoes.  The black caption on the front of the face plate on the trophy's blue plastic base says My idea of a balanced diet is a drink in each hand!  This item was manufactured by Aviva in 1972.  It retains its original red felt protective undercovering and is in NM to NM+ condition, with very light surface wear on the metallic face plate and two tiny specks of paint loss on Andy's face being the item's only flaws.

ANDY PANDA (Walter Lantz) bisque figurine

  This is a 4" bisque figurine showing Andy Panda standing with his hands in his red overalls pockets.  He smiles gently and wears yellowish-orange shoes with black soles.  This item's copyright information does not indicate who made it or when it was manufactured, although it probably dates to the 1970s or 1980s.  It was released as part of a larger set of Walter Lantz cartoon character figurines.  Andy Panda is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

  This is a 9.5" doll of Andy Panda, who has a beanbag-style stuffed body and vinyl face and shoes.  He is shown with a black upper torso, a white lower torso, wearing red pants and yellow shoes with black soles.  This item was made in 1982 by California Stuffed Toys, along with Woody Woodpecker and Chilly Willy counterparts, both of which we also have in stock at this time.  Andy Panda has no damage or paint wear anywhere on him, and a single mark on his left cheek and one on his left shoe.  He is in virtually perfect condition and still retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn securely into his rear end.  Andy Panda also comes with his original cardboard hang tag, which is almost always missing when this item is found nowadays.

ANDY PANDA (Walter Lantz) stationery set

  How do things like this survive the years?!  Every once in awhile, we are amazed at what we find in our travels; and this is one of those times.  It is a 1949 stationery set featuring Andy Panda, originally manufactured by Whitman Publishing Company.  The heavy-duty cardboard box has a raised (by about 1/4") figure of Andy Panda on the lid, showing him wearing purple overalls and holding a very large red pencil in his hands.   The box is 1.25" deep, 4.25" wide, and 5" tall.  This set originally contained 15 note pages and 15 envelopes.  Of those, 3 note pages and 9 envelopes remain, along with the box and the original holding band for the envelopes.   The contents are in perfect condition and the box is complete and undamaged, with edge wear being its principal "flaw."  Overall, this item is in EX condition.

ANGELICA (Rugrats / Nickelodeon) Christmas ornament

  This is a 3.5" resin Christmas ornament showing Angelica, the bratty older sister from Nickelodeon's animated cartoon series Rugrats.  She is shown with both hands clasped in front of her, impish grin on her face, with her head cocked toward her left side.  She wears purple bows in her hair, a purple dress, an orange shirt with purple stripes, turquoise leggings, orange socks, and purple sneakers with white soles.  Originally, Angelica was sold along with Tommy and Chuckie counterparts.  She was manufactured by Kurt Adler sometime during the past few years.  This item is in mint condition and comes with its original cellophane bag.

ANGELICA (Rugrats / Nickelodeon) safari doll

  This is a 6" vinyl doll of Angelica from Nickelodeon's animated cartoon series Rugrats.  She has yellow yarn hair and wears an olive-colored safari hat, a maroon cloak, a purple dress, green-and-blue leggings, an orange shirt, and purple rollerskates.  This item is in mint, unused condition and it comes inside of its original box, which is also in very nice condition.   Angelica was manufactured by Mattel in 1998 to help promote the release of The Rugrats Movie and she was one of several character figures/dolls sold as part of this series.
