ZAP (American Gladiators) action figure

  This is a 3.5" jointed vinyl action figure of Zap, who was one of the original stars of the television series American Gladiators.  She wears a red headband, a red, white, and blue body suit, white gloves, and white boots.  Zap also comes with a red pugil stick and a blue facemask.  She is in mint, unused condition and remains sealed inside of her original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on her original cardboard mounting card.  The mounting card is intact but it does have some bending and creasing.  The front of the mounting card has a photographic image of the real Zap in action, and the back has a posing photograph of her along with pictures of the other American Gladiator figures in the set from which Zap comes.  This item was manufactured by Mattel in 1991.

ZERO (Beetle Bailey / King Features) nodder

  This uncommon find is an 8" composition nodder of Beetle Bailey's dimwitted companion, Zero, who is shown standing with his arms by his sides, buck teeth sticking out.  He wears a white undershirt, a green army uniform, and brown boots.  When Zero's head is touched, it bobbles away.  This item was manufactured sometime during the 1960s, possibly by Lego, although that is not indicated anywhere on the item.  Originally, Zero was sold along with Beetle Bailey and Sgt. Snorkel counterparts.  This one is in NM+ condition and is one of the nicest examples of this item that we've ever seen.

ZIGGY beer glass

  This is a 7.25" tall beer glass showing Ziggy happily holding his hands in front of him.  The black-lettering caption above him saying Hi . . . It's nice to have you here.  The image of Ziggy is entirely black-and-white, and the only color on the glass is a yellow band encircling the upper portion.  The copyright information beside Ziggy's left foot does not indicate who made this item, but it does show that it dates to 1977.  The glass has no damage or wear and, therefore, is in mint condition.

ZIGGY "love ya" doll

  This is an 8.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-style filling in his torso.  He wears a bright red shirt that says love ya! in tan lettering on the front.  The doll is in NM+ condition and retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's rear end.  It shows that he was manufactured by Knickerbocker in 1981.

ZIGGY desk tile -- plants

  This is a 4.25" square ceramic desk tile of Ziggy, who is shown surrounded by several potted house plants.  The bubble caption above him says Plants are some of my favorite people!! in black lettering.  This item was manufactured by WWA and it probably dates to the early 1980s.  It is in NM+ condition and retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker, located between the upper prongs of the pull-out stand on the reverse side of the tile.

ZIGGY doll -- kiss me

  This is an 8" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a bright green outfit and a matching tam, with his shirt saying Kiss me . . . I'm Irish! in white lettering.  He wears a garter on his left sleeve and has a felt shamrock on the band on his hat.  This doll is undamaged and in NM to NM+ condition, with some dinginess on Ziggy's nose being its only flaw.  It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1988.

ZIGGY melted mug votive candle holder

  This is a 2.25" ceramic melted mug showing Ziggy as a beat-up college graduate wearing a blue cap and gown.  He has a bruised nose and a Band-Aid on his right cheek.  The red caption above him on this melted mug says Graduate of the school of hard knocks.  Inside of the mug there is a white votive candle that has never been used.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Enesco in 1989.

ZIGGY bell-shaped Christmas ornament

  This cute item is a 2.5" ceramic bell-shaped Christmas ornament featuring an exuberant Ziggy.  Above him, in green script, the ornament says Merry Everything.  He is shown dressed as Santa Claus, holding his hat in his left hand as he does a happy dance.  Inside of the ornament is the original clapper, too.  This item was manufactured in 1980, probably by WWA Inc.  It is in mint condition.

ZIGGY snowdome -- love is in the air

  This is a 3.75" plastic snowdome showing Ziggy dancing in joy, arms and right foot raised in the air.  The red cursive lettering caption on the front of the off-white base says Love is in the air!  When shaken, the "snow" that falls consists of small red plastic hearts.  This item was manufactured in 1980 by WWA.  It is undamaged and has just minor surface wear, leaving Ziggy in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY Class of '91 doll

  This is a 7.5" cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a two-tone blue baseball cap, a light blue satin bowtie, a blue shirt, and blue shorts.  His shirt says Class of '91 in light blue lettering.  This doll is in mint condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip, and its original cardboard hang tag, which is also in nice condition and affixed to his left hand.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1989.

ZIGGY mirror

  This is an 8x6.25" mirror of Ziggy, framed in a wood frame.  We blacked out the mirror surface in the photograph, just to avoid confusion as to what the images looked like and what was being reflected in the mirror's surface--hence its black appearance.  Rest assured, though, that this is a normal mirror that reflects just fine.  On top, the blue, block-lettering caption says Father of the Year and in the lower right-hand corner, Ziggy is shown pointing up toward that caption saying That's you Dad! with his own bubble caption.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1982.  It retains its original "to / from" gift sticker on back of the mirror as well as its original price tags, showing that it used to cost 79¢.  Those were the days, huh?!  The mirror is undamaged and shows just slight surface wear, leaving it in no worse than near mint (probably NM+) condition.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- love you

  This is a beanbag-style doll of Ziggy, who has a firmly-stuffed face, stuffed arms and feet, and a beanbag-style body filling.  He wears a bright green shirt that ways Love You! on it in light green and red lettering, as well as a white ski cap with a red pompon on his head.  This doll was manufactured in 1981 by Applause.  It is in mint condition and it still retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.

ZIGGY wooden Christmas ornament -- ice skating Santa

  This is a 3.75" wooden Christmas ornament showing Ziggy wearing a Santa Claus outfit as he stands atop a pair of wooden ice skates.  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It probably dates to the 1980s, but there is no indication anywhere on Ziggy as to who made him or when he was made.

ZIGGY doll -- blue bunny outfit

  This is a 17" soft stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-type filling in his feet.  he wears a yellow bowtie and a pale blue bunny outfit.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  It shows that he was made by Kellytoy in 1999.

ZIGGY graduation figurine

  This is a 5.5" ceramic figurine showing Ziggy as an ecstatic, dancing graduate.  He holds his white rolled-up diploma in his raised right hand, his mortarboard in his left hand, and is perched atop a white Grecian-style pedestal with his right foot.  The black lettering on front of the pedestal says Magna Cum Lucky.  This item was manufactured by Enesco in 1989.  It is free of damage and has two very small spots of paint loss . . . one on the "n" in "magna" and one on the sleeve of Ziggy's pale blue-grey graduation gown.  Overall, this item is in NM to NM+ condition.

ZIGGY PVC figure -- hole in bat

  This is a 2" PVC figure of Ziggy, who is shown wearing a red baseball cap, a blue shirt, and white shorts and shoes.  He holds a brown baseball bat in his left hand, with a hole through the top of it . . . presumably showing that a fast-pitched baseball cut through it.  This item is undamaged and in near mint condition.  It was manufactured in 1981 by Knickerbocker as part of a larger collection of Ziggy PVC figures.

ZIGGY Christmas ornament -- in stocking

  This is a 4" solid composition Christmas ornament of Ziggy, who is shown popping out of a large Christmas stocking. He wears a green shirt and a Santa Claus cap on his head. He has a gold lame loop at the top of his head, enabling him to be hung from a Christmas tree. The copyright information is stamped on the underside of the stocking. It indicates that Ziggy was made in 1981, although it does not say by whom this item was manufactured. It is in near mint condition, with a few very small and inconspicuous spots of minor paint loss being its only flaws.

ZIGGY desk tile -- accomplish something

  This is a 4.25" porcelain (or glazed earthenware . . . kinda difficult to tell which) desk tile showing Ziggy standing beside a calendar.  The bubble caption above him says Today I think I'll try to accomplish something . . . like getting through it!!!  This item has a black metal pull-out stand in back, enabling it to stand upright on a desktop or a shelf.  The tile has one very small ding on the underside of the front left corner, and the extent of this minor imperfection is visible in the photograph accompanying this description.  This item is in near mint condition.  It dates to the early 1980s and probably was manufactured by WWA Inc.

ZIGGY doll -- 100% huggable

  This is a 7.5" tall soft stuffed Ziggy doll.  He wears a pink-and-white checked shirt that has a solid pink front.  On the front, in white and yellow lettering, Ziggy is marked 100% huggable.  This item is in mint condition and retains its original manufacturer's label (sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip) and its original cardboard hang tag (affixed to his left hand).  Ziggy was made by the English company Kellytoy in 1998.

ZIGGY Christmas ornament -- large yellow star

  This is a 2.75" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Ziggy wearing a Santa Claus outfit as he tips over from holding a large yellow star.  This ornament retains its original gold lame hanging cord and its original gold foil sticker.  Ziggy was manufactured in 1982 but his copyright information does not indicate who made him.  He is undamaged and has minimal paint loss, leaving him in NM to NM+ condition.

ZIGGY plush doll -- hopeful romantic

  This is a 10.5" plush doll of Ziggy, who has reinforced feet that enable him to stand upright.  He wears a pink shirt that says Hopeful Romantic on it in red lettering.  This doll is in virtually perfect, seemingly unused condition.  It retains its original manufacturer's label and its original cardboard hang tag.  Ziggy was manufactured by Kellytoy in 2004.

ZIGGY vinyl figure -- happy birthday / over the hill

  This is a 7" hard vinyl figure of Ziggy, who wears a red satin birthday party hat with multi-colored streamers hanging off of the top. red shorts with a white design, and a black shirt saying Over the Hill on it in white lettering. Ziggy also wears brown vinyl glasses.  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured in 1988 by Summit Corp.

ZIGGY doll -- let's be friends

  This is a 7.5" beanbag-style doll of Ziggy, who is shown smiling and wearing a red-and-white checked shirt.  The front of the shirt is solid red in color and says Let's be friends in white lettering.  Ziggy has a firmly-stuffed head and nose, and has a beanbag body, arms, and legs.  He was manufactured by Knickerbocker in 1978 along with several other dolls, each showing him in different clothing and with a different saying on his chest.  (We have several of them in stock at this time.)  Ziggy no longer retains his original manufacturer's label, but is undamaged and shows only minor signs of use, leaving him in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY hugger doll -- bunny slippers

  This is a 4.75" cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head and vinyl hands.  His hands stay tightly together, but can be separated a bit, enabling him to hold onto another object and "hug" it.  Ziggy is shown wearing an off-white shirt with red hearts on it, a matching nightcap, white undies, and white bunny slippers.  The doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1985 as part of its Clippits collection.

ZIGGY Christmas ornament -- mini-Santa

  This is a 1.25" PVC or resin Christmas ornament showing Ziggy wearing a red shirt and a Santa Claus hat.  He stands quite simply with his arms by his sides, grinning gently.  He is in mint condition and comes in his original display box, which has a card on the left side showing him and Fuzz together wishing everyone a Merry everything.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings, but there is no indication of when the item was made.  Our best guess is that this item dates to the 1980s.

ZIGGY bisque trinket box -- on Easter egg

  This nifty item is a 4.5" bisque trinket box showing Ziggy happily sitting atop a yellow Easter egg that is decorated with raised-relief flowers, dots, and swiggles that are white, green, and lavender in color.  The item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1982.

ZIGGY heart-shaped trinket box -- love is the answer

  This is a 1.5" deep and 3.25" long ceramic heart-shaped trinket box featuring a very elated Ziggy.  Holding both arms in the air and exuding three red hearts overhead, the caption on this item's lid reads Love is the answer (Who cares what the question is?) in red cursive lettering.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1978.

ZIGGY bell / ornament -- clinging Santa

  This is a 3.75" ceramic bell, primarily white in color, with a holly-shaped raised-relief lower border.  On top of the bell, Santa Ziggy sits and pulls the clapper for the bell.  This item doubles as a Christmas ornament and still retains its original hanging loop.  It is in nearly perfect condition.  Ziggy was manufactured by Enesco in 1990.

ZIGGY blue bunny doll

  This is a 6.75" stuffed Ziggy doll with a beanbag-style filling in the belly.  Ziggy is shown smiling and wearing a blue bunny costume.  He is in mint condition and retains his original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into his right hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.

ZIGGY melted mug

  This uncommon find is a 4" "melted" ceramic mug with a white upper portion and a yellow base.  It shows a hapless Ziggy holding his head, beneath the caption This old mug is mine.  This item is in NM to NM+ condition, with two tiny fleabites on the upper rim.  It was manufactured by Enesco in 1989.

ZIGGY heart-shaped trinket box -- have a lovely day

  This is a 1.75" deep by 4" tall glazed earthenware heart-shaped trinket box showing Ziggy parting a patch of heart-shaped "flowers."  He wears a red out fit and, below him, it says Have a lovely day! in red cursive writing.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured either by WWA or American Greetings sometime during the 1980s.  Highly unlike most Ziggy merchandise, this one does not have a copyright stamp underneath it.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- last place

  This is a 2.25" ceramic figurine of Ziggy, who is shown happily holding a yellow Last Place trophy cup up by his right shoulder.  The item is in NM+ condition, with a few tiny specks of minor paint loss being its only flaw.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1982 as part of a set of Ziggy ceramic figurines.

ZIGGY cloth and vinyl doll -- reindeer slippers

  This is a soft stuffed doll of Ziggy with a vinyl head.  He is 7" tall from the soles of his reindeer slippers to the top of his head; he is slightly larger than 12" when measured to the top of the pompon on his Santa Claus cap.  Ziggy is wearing a green, red, and white striped shirt with a red felt heart saying "I love you" on his chest.  In his left hand, he holds a cardboard heart, which serves as the item's gift tag.  It reads "Have a merry little Christmas from Ziggy and __________."   This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1991.  It is in mint condition and retains its original manufacturer's label, too, which is sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.

ZIGGY bulletin board

  This fun item is a 22x16.5" cork bulletin board showing Ziggy sitting amidst a broom with a cobweb on it and a pile of unwashed dishes.  Above him, the caption says . . . Stuff I gotta remember not to forget . . .   This item was manufactured by Freelance in 1979.  It is in EX+ condition, with some edge wear and a few (but just a few) small holes in it from use by Ziggy's previous owner.

ZIGGY ruler and eraser

  This is a 12" yellowish-orange plastic ruler showing Ziggy standing in front of a large three-dimensional sign saying Sooperstudent. This item comes with a yellow eraser showing Ziggy standing with his hands clasped in front of him. This set, named a Ruleraser by the manufacturer, is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original cardboard backing card. This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1979.

ZIGGY doll -- howdy pardner

  This is an 11.5" stuffed Ziggy doll, showing him in sheriff's garb.  He wears an orange cowboy hat with a tan sheriff's star on front, and a yellow shirt with Howdy Pardner written on it in brown hollow-block lettering.  This doll is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by Knickerbocker sometime during the 1980s.  It retains its worn original manufacturer's label, which is intact and sewn securely into Ziggy's rear end.

ZIGGY desk tile -- enjoy the day

  This is a 4.25" ceramic desk tile with a pull-out stand in back, enabling it to be placed upright on any table, desk, or shelf.  It features Ziggy in the morning, unhappily responding to the sun sticking its tongue out at him.  Ziggy's caption says I think I could enjoy the day more . . . if it didn't start so early!!  This item was manufactured in 1980 by WWA and it still retains its original gold foil copyright sticker.  The tile is in nearly perfect condition.

ZIGGY doll -- hands clasped

  This is a larger-than-average stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, standing 10.25" tall.  It shows him in a seated pose with his hands clasped together in front of him.  Ziggy wears a yellow body suit bearing his name in red lettering on the left sleeve.  This doll is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is intact, completely faded, and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  He probably dates to the 1980s and probably was manufactured by American Greetings, but this information cannot be read on the tag anymore.

ZIGGY melted mug -- get up and go

  This is a 4" ceramic mug with a pale blue base and a white handle and upper portion.  It was manufactured to appear as if the mug had melted.  On it, we see Ziggy hunched forward, wearing a purple shirt, saying I think my get-up-and-go, got-up-and went.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by Enesco in 1989.

ZIGGY heart-shaped trinket box -- on globe

  This is a heart-shaped ceramic trinket box featuring Ziggy sitting on top of a globe.  He wears a red shirt and has his eyes shut as he smiles happily, resting above all of the world's places where he has marked red hearts.  Above him, the black script caption says Love makes the world go round . . .  This item is 3" tall and 3.75" wide.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1979.  It is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY doll -- Valentine You're Tops

  This is a 9" firmly-stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-type filling inside of his belly.  He wears a dark grey top hat with a silver band with red hearts on it, and a grey shirt that says Valentine You're TOPS on front.  The doll is in nearly perfect condition, other than the fact that its previous owner snipped off its manufacturer's label.  Ziggy probably dates to the 1980s and he probably was manufactured by American Greetings.

ZIGGY Class of '84 doll

  This is an 8" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who is shown as a graduating member of the Class of '84.  He wears a purple graduation gown and mortarboard, complete with a dark blue tassel.  The doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into the right side of Ziggy's gown.  It indicates that he was manufactured in 1982 by American Greetings.

ZIGGY vinyl figure -- forty something

  This is a 7" hard vinyl figure of Ziggy, who is shown wearing a blue birthday party hat saying Happy Birthday on it in white lettering.  He also wears a yellow shirt saying Forty Something on it in blue lettering, along with white-and-blue checked shorts.  This doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured in 1988 by Summit Corp.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- everyone needs love

  Knickerbocker manufactured this 8" Ziggy doll in 1978 as part of a much larger collection of Ziggy dolls, several of which we have in stock at this time.  This Ziggy has a firmly stuffed head, hands, and feet, and a beanbag filled body.  He wears a yellow shirt with brown, white, and black designs on the sleeves and back (rather reminiscent of a bandanna).  In brown lettering, the front of the shirt says "everyone needs love."  Ziggy is shown smiling contentedly, as he rests with his eyes closed.  This item is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- push over

  This is an 8" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who is shown smiling contentedly with his eyes closed.  His torso has a beanbag-style filling.  Ziggy wears a blue shirt with plaid sleeves, and the front of the shirt says I'm a push over in darker blue lettering.  This doll is in NM to NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  He was manufactured by Applause in 1979.

ZIGGY cloth & vinyl doll -- Class of '92 graduate . . . Class of '95 graduate

    This Ziggy doll is just under 6.5" tall.  It has a cloth body and a vinyl head.   Ziggy is shown wearing a bright royal blue satiny graduation outfit, complete with mortarboard and tassel, with "Class of '92" written on the front in white lettering.  In his left hand, Ziggy is holding a white pennant with blue lettering that reads "Way to go!" on it.  This item is in mint condition and comes complete with its original manufacturer's cardboard hang tag.  Inside of the tag, it says "Way to go, grad! You've got what it takes . . . including a diploma!  Now onward and upward!!"  The original manufacturer's label is present and in great shape, too, sewn securely into Ziggy's back side.  This item was manufactured in 1983 by American Greetings.  As you can see from the second image presented, we also have this item's 1995  counterpart, in comparably nice condition.
