  This is a 2.5" PVC figure of Ernie, who is shown holding an apple in his raised right hand and a pink My ABCs book in his left hand.  This item was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.  It is free of damage and paint loss is minimal, leaving Ernie in NM to NM+ condition.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) cloth / beanbag doll

  Here, we have an 8" cloth doll of Ernie, whose torso has a beanbag-type filling.  He has puffy black hair and orange felt ears and hands.  This doll is in NM+ condition, with minor fading on the striped shirt being its only flaw.  Ernie retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into his rear end.  It shows that he was made by Applause in 1997.

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Ernie as an artist wearing a blue beret on his head.  He holds a black paintbrush with lavender paint in his raised right hand and a partly-painted, hatching lavender Easter egg in his raised left hand.  He has silver cans of lavender and yellow paint by his feet.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Applause and it probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) bisque skateboarding figure

  This is a heavy-duty bisque figurine of Ernie, measuring nearly 3.5" tall.  Ernie wears a blue shirt with red stripes and yellow trim, blue pants, and red sneakers with white laces and soles.  He stands atop a green skateboard with yellow wheels.   The copyright information on the underside of the skateboard does not indicate who made this item or when it was manufactured, although it is probably a 1980s or 1990s item.   It is free of damage and has only a few tiny spots of minor paint loss.  Ernie is in NM to NM+ condition and is one of several Sesame Street character bisque figurines that we have in stock at this time.

  This is a 3.25" PVC figure showing Ernie standing with a green backpack slung over his shoulders.  He wears his usual red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow trim, blue pants, and red-and-white sneakers.  Ernie's copyright information does not indicate who made him or when he was manufactured, but he is probably a 1980s or 1990s piece.  He is completely free of damage and he has just a few tiny specks of paint loss, leaving him in NM+ condition.

  This is a 3" PVC figure showing Ernie standing in front of a tall, lime green numeral 2.  On the outstretched palms of both hands, he holds yellow rubber duckies.  This item was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.  It is in NM+ condition, with no damage and only the slightest traces of minor paint loss.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament -- checking list

  This is a 3" resin Christmas ornament showing Ernie contemplating his lengthy Christmas list, presumably checking who's naughty and who's nice.  He wears a green ski cap with a white pompon and a matching scarf, along with his usual red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow trim, blue pants, and red sneakers with the white laces and soles.  He holds a pencil in one hand and his list in the other.  This item dates to the 1990s and was sold as part of a large set of Muppets / Sesame Street character ornaments.  The copyright information does not indicate who made Ernie, who is in mint condition.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- bedtime

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Ernie ready for bedtime.  He wears aqua-and-blue striped pajamas and holds a white pillow underneath his left arm and a blue candle holder with a red candle in his right hand.  The figure is in near mint condition, with a few very small marks on it (visible in the photograph accompanying this description).  Ernie was manufactured by Applause and he probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) parachute cloth doll

  Although the picture makes Ernie appear to be squashed, please rest assured that he is 100% fine and 100% free of damage.  He is made of a soft parachute cloth material that sinks when he is stood upright . . . hence the squashed appearance in the picture.  Ernie has lightweight beanbag-type filling inside of part of his head and torso.  He was manufactured by Playskool in 1990.  Ernie retains his original manufacturer's label, which shows significant wear but is still mostly legible and still firmly attached to the rear of his left leg.  He is bright and colorful, free of damage, and overall in NM to NM+ condition.

  This is a 2.25" plastic cake topper showing Ernie standing atop a round white base.  He holds his rubber duckie in his left hand and a white-and-red party horn in his raised right hand.  He wears a red-and-white birthday party hat, his usual red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow trim, blue pants, and red sneakers with white soles.  This item was manufactured by Wilton, probably during the earlier 1990s, as part of a set of Sesame Street / Muppets character cake toppers.  Ernie is in NM+ condition.

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure of Ernie, who is shown with a red-and-white drum underneath his left arm while he holds a red drumstick in his raised left hand.  He wears his usual blue-and-red striped sweater with the yellow trim, as well as blue pants and red-and-white sneakers.  Ernie is free of damage and has small spots of paint loss on his nose and on the front of his sneakers.  Overall, he is in EX to EX+ condition.  He was made in 1992, but the copyright information does not indicate who the manufacturer was.

  This is a 3.25" vinyl finger puppet showing Ernie holding an orange guitar (or banjo) in front of him.  He has black polyester hair and is shown wearing a red-and-blue striped sweater with a yellow collar.  This item probably dates to the 1980s and the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Ernie is in virtually perfect condition.

  This is a 4.5" stuffed doll of Ernie, who has a beanbag-style filling inside of his belly.  He has wispy black hair and wears blue pants and his usual red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow edging.  This item was distributed by Kellogg's cereals as a premium giveaway a few years ago.  Ernie retains his original manufacturer's label and, overall, he is in virtually perfect condition.

  This is an 11" stuffed cloth doll of Ernie, who has wispy black hair, a blue, red, and yellow striped sweater, blue pants, and red shoes.  He has glued-on felt eyes and orange felt ears.  This doll was manufactured by Playskool in 1984, as shown on the original manufacturer's label that is sewn into the upper portion of Ernie's back.  Ernie is undamaged and, overall, in NM+ condition.

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure showing Ernie dressed as a vaudevillian, complete with a white cane in his raised right hand, a white straw hat with a red band, a red bowtie, and his usual attire consisting of a red-and-blue sweater with yellow trim, blue pants, and red-and-white sneakers.  The figure is in virtually perfect condition.  Ernie was manufactured by Tara Toy and he probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s.

  This is a 5.75" plastic figure showing Ernie holding onto a large yellow wrench with both hands.  He wears a yellow shirt, a red outfit, and yellow-and-red sneakers.  This toy was part of a set that included Grover with a screwdriver, Bert with an Allen wrench, and Big Bird with a hammer.  Ernie's copyright information does not indicate who made him or when he was manufactured, although he is probably a 1980s or a 1990s piece.  This toy is in mint condition.

  This cute item is a 5" ceramic trinket box showing Ernie sitting with a yellow book in his lap, as he is perched atop a stack of three oversized books:  a blue book of Numbers, a yellow book of Letters, and a blue book of Shapes.  The yellow base on which he himself rests can be removed, and that is the lid for the trinket box.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured along with Big Bird and Cookie Monster counterparts sometime during the 1980s or earlier 1990s, but the copyright information on the underside of the trinket box does not indicate who made this item.

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Ernie holding a green Christmas gift with a red ribbon and bow on it.  He wears a Santa Claus hat and his usual wintertime attire, consisting of a red-and-blue striped sweater, blue pants, red snow boots, and a yellow scarf.  The figure was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or early 1990s.  It is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

  This is a 3.25" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Ernie as a hockey player.  He wears white-and-grey ice skates on his feet and holds a brown-and-white hockey stick in front of him.  He wears a red scarf, a green sweater, and blue pants.  This item retains its original gold lame hanging cord and is in virtually perfect condition.  There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it or when it was manufactured, although our best guess is that Ernie is a 1980s or earlier 1990s piece.

  This is a 15" stuffed cloth teach 'em doll featuring Ernie as the teaching subject.  He wears a floppy red rain bonnet that can be used to teach children how to tie clothing properly.  He has a red jacket with a blue zipper, a yellow fastened felt wristwatch, a snap-on green pocket, and a yellow button on a blue pocket.  He wears blue pants and red shoes, too.  This doll was manufactured by Playskool in 1989.  It is free of damage and has light signs of use-related wear and surface soiling--nothing major, simply not as sharply bright as the day he was sold.  Overall, Ernie is in NM to NM+ condition.  He retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into the back of his neck.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) rolling toy -- yellow convertible

  This cute item is a 3" tall by 3.75" long plastic rolling toy showing Ernie driving a yellow convertible with blue tires.  He holds his belly with his left hand and waves with his right arm, and is shown standing, rather than sitting, inside of the car.  This item was manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.  It is in NM+ condition and rolls along any hard, smooth surface very well and very easily.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) wall plaque

  This is a HEAVY-duty three-dimensional wall plaque, meant for a decoration in a child's bedroom.   The item stands 10.5" tall and is made of plaster.  It shows Ernie with his knees bent, both hands on his chest, wearing a green-and-yellow striped sweater with a cream-colored "E" on the chest.  Although there is no copyright information on this item, it probably dates to the 1970s.  This item has one shallow chip on the back of the plaque, which is totally unnoticeable when the item is displayed.  There is also a hook on the back, enabling it to be hung from a nail on the wall.

  This is a 6.5" soft stuffed cloth doll of Ernie, who has orange felt ears and hands.  He wears his usual red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow trim, blue pants, and red shoes.  His facial features are part of the material that makes up his head, and he has fine black polyester hair.  This item's manufacturer's label was removed by its previous owner, although we purchased it as part of a set of Muppets character dolls that were manufactured by Applause in 1994.  Ernie is in NM+ condition.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament

  This is a 3.25" round-bottomed Christmas ornament of Sesame Street's Ernie, who is shown as a Christmas caroler.  Ernie is wearing a white shirt and red bowtie.  He is shown singing as he holds his green caroling book.  The rounded part of this ornament is bright red and is encircled with blue musical notes.  This ornament was manufactured as part of a set that included Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Grover, Big Bird, and Oscar the Grouch.  (We have the entire set in stock at this time.)  Although not marked with a copyright year or manufacturer, this licensed product was probably manufactured during the 1980s or 1990s.  It is in near mint condition, with just a few small marks on the back of Ernie's head.

  This is a 5" mini-bean (i.e., small beanbag-type) doll of Ernie, manufactured in 1999 and distributed by Kellogg's as a promotional giveaway in some of their breakfast cereals.  Ernie wears his usual red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow trim, and blue pants.  He is in mint condition and comes with his original hang tag, which is affixed to his left hand.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) large rag doll

  This is a 14" cloth rag doll of Ernie, who is shown wearing a red-and-blue striped sweater with yellow collar and cuffs, blue denim-style jeans, and white sneakers.  He it in mint condition and remains inside of his original colorful display box, which is designed to resemble the facade of a brick apartment building.  The original cellophane is present but a large portion of it has torn on the front of the box, but Ernie himself remains in perfect, unused condition.  This item was manufactured by Knickerbocker (style 2602) in 1975 along with Bert and Betty Lou counterparts.

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Ernie as a hitchhiker, with his right thumb out to catch a ride as he waves happily with his left hand.  He wears his usual outfit, consisting of a red-and-blue striped sweater with yellow edging, light blue pants, and white-and-red sneakers.  Ernie's copyright information does not indicate who made him or when he was manufactured, but our best guess is that he was made sometime during the 1990s.  He is in mint condition.

  This is a 3.5" PVC figural stamper of Ernie.  He wears a red-and-blue striped sweater with yellow trim, blue pants, and red-and-white sneakers.  He stands with his hands clasped together behind his back, smiling happily, atop his green base with the orange top surface.  Beneath the base, there is a raised-relief image of Ernie's face, to be used for the stamping purposes.  There is no indication anywhere on this item regarding who made it or when it was manufactured, although it is probably a 1980s piece.  It is undamaged and has just a few tiny specks of paint loss.  The underside is clean and appears to have been used only a few times and cleaned very well afterwards.  Overall, Ernie is in NM to NM+ condition.

  This is a 2.75" composition Christmas ornament of Ernie, who is shown holding a white gift with green polka dots and red bow and ribbon.  He wears a blue sweater with red stripes, blue pants, and red-and-white shoes.  This ornament was manufactured in 1983 as part of a larger collection of Sesame Street / Muppets character ornaments, but the copyright information does not indicate who the maker was.  Ernie is in NM+ condition and he retains his original gold lame hanging cord.

  This is a 2.5" tall by 2.75" long die-cast metal rolling toy showing Ernie as a fireman driving a red fire truck with a yellow ladder and blue wheels.  Ernie wears a grey jacket and a red fireman's helmet.  This toy was manufactured by Kid Dimension in 1982.  It is undamaged and in virtually perfect condition, and it works just fine when rolled along a smooth, hard surface.

  This is a 3.75" resin/composition Christmas ornament of Ernie.  He is shown wearing a Santa Claus cap, a red sweater with a white collar and white sleeves, and is popping out of a green gift that was wrapped with gold ribbons.  The copyright information does not indicate who manufactured this item or when it was made, but it is probably a 1980s-era item.  It is free of damage and has only minor specks of paint loss on the edges, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.  The thin gold lame loop is present, too, to enable this ornament to be hung from a Christmas tree.

  This is a 2.75" tall by 3" wide plastic rolling toy showing Ernie driving a green dune buggy, complete with white roll bar and and yellow wheels.  He, as usual, is wearing a red-and-blue striped sweater with yellow trim.  The rolling action works perfectly on this toy, which is in NM to NM+ condition.  It was manufactured in 1993 by Tyco Playtime as part of a set that also included Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) picture frame ornament

  This is a 3.75" plastic Christmas ornament showing Ernie wearing a Santa Claus hat.  He is bending forward holding onto a large yellow star that is adorned with sprigs of holly.  Inside of the yellow star, there is a circle where a small photograph can be inserted, enabling this ornament to double as a picture holder.  The item is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original packaging.  It was manufactured by Kurt Adler, and although undated, probably comes from the 1980s or 1990s.

  In 1997, Tyco Preschool released a set of 24 Sesame Street / Muppets character beanbag dolls.  This 9" doll of Ernie comes from that set.  He has fuzzy black hair and wears his usual blue pants, red shoes with white soles, and red-and-blue striped sweater with the yellow trim.  Ernie is in mint condition and he comes with his original cardboard hang tag.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) figural clock

  This very cool item is a 7.75" plastic clock showing Ernie waving happily from the front of the Sesame Street Players playhouse/theater.  The brick wall of the play house is decorated with posters of Ernie and Bert, Cookie Monster, and Big Bird; and the ticket window has a sign saying Grown-ups must be accompanied by a child.  This clock keeps good time and is battery-operated.  The clock was manufactured by Bradley in 1981.  It is in virtually perfect condition and is a tougher-to-find older Sesame Street collectible!

  This is a very unusual find:  A solid-white vinyl/rubber squeak toy of Sesame Street's Ernie.  When squeezed, this item gives off a pretty hearty squeaking sound.   Ernie is 5.25" tall and was manufactured by CBS Inc., probably during the 1970s or 1980s.  Although this item has no damage anywhere on it and the vinyl/rubber is in fine shape, there are a number of light stains and marks on it that have been fairly resistant to removal when we tried cleaning it.  Overall, Ernie is in EX condition, primarily because of these stains and marks.

ERNIE (Sesame Street / Muppets) doll -- short-cropped hair

  This is an 11" stuffed cloth doll of Ernie, who is depicted with short-cropped black wiry hair.  He wears his usual attire, consisting of blue pants, red shoes, and a yellow, red, and blue striped sweater.  This doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into the back of Ernie's sweater.  He was manufactured by Hasbro and although undated, probably comes from the 1980s or 1990s.
