ORBITY (Jetsons / Hanna Barbera) rolling toy

This is a 2.75" plastic rolling toy of Orbity, who is shown standing atop a pink spacecraft and holding onto its red control handle. When the toy is placed on a hard, smooth surface, it rolls along well and easily. Orbity is in virtually perfect condition. He was manufactured by Applause in 1990 as part of a set of Jetsons family rolling toys.

ORBITY (Jetsons / Hanna Barbera) bisque nightlight

This is a 5.5" bisque electric nightlight showing Elroy Jetson's pal, Orbity, popping out of a "broken" grey boulder. He looks upward and smiles sweetly, with his yellow antennae pointing upward and sideways from his head. The nightlight works just fine and gives off a gentle glow when plugged into a wall socket. This item was manufactured during the mid-1980s along with a few other Jetsons character nightlights. There is no copyright information anywhere on the item which, overall, is in NM+ condition..

OSCAR THE GROUCH (Sesame Street / Muppets) magic slate

This is an 8x6.25" magic slate drawing toy featuring Oscar the Grouch. He is shown inside of his grey trashcan with yellow fiery exhaust coming out of its bottom as Oscar is launched into space. The original drawing wand is present and sealed onto the cardboard mounting card. The black backing card has never been used, and the grey peel-off surface is undamaged although lightly crinkled in a few places, as shown in the photograph accompanying this description. Oscar was manufactured in 1985 by Western Publishing Company.

This is a 2.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Oscar the Grouch wearing a Santa Claus hat as he pops out of his silver trashcan. Off toward his left side, he holds a potted Christmas tree. This item is in mint condition. It was manufactured in 2006 by Kurt Adler as part of a set that also included Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Elmo, and Grover.

OSCAR THE GROUCH (Sesame Street / Muppets) soft doll

This soft stuffed Oscar the Grouch doll stands nearly 6" tall. It shows him, as usual, popping out of the top of his pale grey trashcan. Both arms are extended outward and Oscar is shown with a nonplused expression on his face. He is in mint condition and was manufactured in 1995 by Applause as part of a larger set of Muppets / Sesame Street character dolls.

This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Oscar the Grouch using his trashcan lids as cymbals that he clangs together off toward his right side. The item is in nearly perfect condition. It was manufactured by Tara Toy in 1982.

This is a 2.5" composition Christmas ornament showing Oscar the Grouch popping out of the top of an off-white stocking with red trim and a grey patch on it. The ornament was manufactured by Gorham sometime during the later 1970s as part of a set of Sesame Street / Muppets character ornaments. Oscar retains his original gold lame hanging cord and he is in NM+ condition.

This is a 2.75" tall soft vinyl finger puppet of a happily angry-looking Oscar the Grouch. He holds both hands together beneath his neck, while a green worm with light blue stripes on it is clutched to his chest. This item was manufactured by Tara Toy and probably dates to the 1980s. It is in mint condition.

This is a 6.5" soft plush doll of Oscar the Grouch, who has a bushy brown unibrow and a red felt tongue, along with glued-on plastic eyes. In person, he is brighter green in color than the picture suggests. This item is in virtually perfect condition and it comes with its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into Oscar's rear end. He was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s along with a Cookie Monster counterpart.

This is an 8.25" doll of Oscar the Grouch, who is shown popping out of the top of his grey cloth trashcan. Oscar himself is made of a green plush with brown plush eyebrows, and he has an opened, smiling mouth. The doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original hand-shaped plastic manufacturer's hang tag (affixed to Oscar's right hand) as well as its original manufacturer's labels (sewn into the lower rear portion of the trashcan). This doll was manufactured in 1995 by Applause.

This is a 6" composition bank showing Oscar the Grouch popping out of his grey trashcan. He holds a flesh-colored pig in both hands, and the pig's side has white and pink flowers on it. The bank's coin slot is located on top of the pig, making it a true piggy bank, and the original black rubber stopper is present beneath Oscar's trashcan. This item was manufactured by Gorham in 1978 as part of a set of Sesame Street / Muppets character banks. Oscar is in NM+ condition.

Here, we are offering for sale a 2.5" PVC figure of Oscar the Grouch, who is shown as a mechanic (inside of his silver trashcan, of course). He wears a yellow baseball cap off to the side of his head and is shown holding a red oilcan with a yellow cap. This item has a hollow bottom but is made of durable PVC. There is no indication anywhere on it as to who made it or when it was manufactured, although our best guess is that Oscar is a 1980s or early 1990s piece. He is in NM+ condition.

This 3" ceramic Christmas ornament of Oscar the Grouch shows him as he rarely is shown: with feet! He wears his grey trashcan lid as a hat and his grey trashcan as "clothing" while he stands leaning forward on a pair of red skis. This item is in mint condition and, best of all, it comes with its original clear plastic display/storage box. Oscar was manufactured by Newcor sometime during the 1980s or 1990s as part of a larger collection of Sesame Street character ornaments.

In his left hand, there is a multi-colored worm. This item's copyright information does not indicate when it was made or by whom, although it probably dates to the 1990s. This is a 3.25" bisque figurine showing Oscar the Grouch popping out of his grey trashcan, with the lid on his head. He has hung a white sign saying Go Away! on the front of his trashcan. This item is in NM+ condition. The copyright information does not indicate who made Oscar or when he was manufactured, although he probably dates to the 1980s. The company that made this item produced it alongside Big Bird, Ernie, and Grover counterparts (perhaps others too, but those are the ones that we have seen and/or had in our inventory over the years).

This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Oscar the Grouch popping out of his silver trashcan while a black skunk with blue eyes walks by. Oscar looks surprised and he himself wears a khaki camper's hat. This item is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.

OSCAR THE GROUCH (Sesame Street / Muppets) hand puppet

This unusual find is a 10" shaggy plush hand puppet of Oscar the Grouch. The puppet is bright green in color with olive green felt hands, bushy brown eyebrows, pink felt tongue, and vinyl eyes. There is a pull-ring attached to the interior of this hand puppet that enables Oscar to appear as if he is moving his hands when the ring is pulled. This item was manufactured by Topper Corp. and it probably dates to the 1970s. Oscar has some wear along the edges of his "lips" and on his tongue, but no damage anywhere on him. He is in EX+ condition . . . quite nice for a rarely-found item!

The underside of the trashcan is hollow and we do not know whether this item was originally intended to be just the figure you see presented or part of some larger toy. Oscar has a few tiny specks of paint loss and a surface crack on the back, upper portion of the trashcan. (This is merely a surface crack and it does NOT go all the way through the piece.) Overall, this item is in EX or EX+ condition.

Oscar's trashcan is made of stuffed cloth; Oscar himself is made of bright green plush, with brown plush eyebrows and plastic eyes. This item is in mint condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into the back side of the trashcan. Oscar was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1990s.

This is a 2.5" tall by 3" long rolling toy featuring Oscar the Grouch as the driver of a tractor. This item is partly made of die-cast metal and partly of plastic. It shows Oscar inside of his silver trashcan, "behind the wheel" of a tractor that is orange in color with a yellow plow attached to the front, lime green wheels, and blue tank-like belts. This item works fine, has no damage, and only two specks of paint loss. It is in NM+ condition. Oscar was made by Playskool in 1986.

This is a 12" green plush doll of Oscar the Grouch, who is shown as a baby who is looking up in the air almost helplessly. Oscar wears a green-and-white checked baby bonnet, and a white diaper bearing his name in pink lettering. He has plastic ping-pong ball-style eyes whose pupils may have been retouched (quite neatly if that is the case) by his previous owner. The doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn into Oscar beneath his diaper. It shows that he was manufactured by Playskool in 1983.

This item is in mint, unused condition. It is still sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack (which is undamaged but crinkled in a few places) and still mounted on its original cardboard mounting card (which has some edge and corner wear and one small puncture hole on the back of the card, located inside of the blisterpack-protected area). This item was manufactured by Playskool in 1987.

In 1997, Tyco Preschool released a set of 24 Sesame Street / Muppets character beanbag dolls. This is one from that set, featuring a 7" tall Oscar the Grouch. He is shown popping out of the top of his grey trashcan and there is a yellow-and-orange worm attached to his left hand. This doll is in mint condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag.

It shows Oscar inside of his silver trashcan, lid on his head, driving a blue convertible trashmobile with red tires. Oscar's personalized license plate reads "I love trash" and his trunk is overflowing with trash. This toy was made by Playskool in 1987. It is complete and in good working condition. There are several very small spots of minor paint loss on this car, but no damage. It is in EX+ condition.

This is a 9.25" vinyl bank showing Oscar the Grouch popping out of his grey trashcan. The bank's coin slot is located in the sardine can and the original plastic stopper is present. This item dates to the 1980s but the copyright information does not indicate who made it. Oscar is in NM+ condition, with a few small marks on him.

Oscar wields a brown baton in his left hand as he acts the part of a showman or a carnival barker, complete with a white "straw" hat with a red band and a red bowtie on his white shirt collar (with no shirt!). This figure is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by Tara Toy and probably dates to the earlier 1980s.

This is a bright green plush doll of Oscar the Grouch, who has glued-on plastic eyes and bushy brown eyebrows. He wears a lacy white baby bonnet and a white diaper bearing his name in orange lettering. The doll is in virtually perfect condition and appears never to have been played with. It retains its original blue plastic hand-shaped hang tag (affixed to Oscar's right hand) and its original manufacturer's label (attached to the back of Oscar's diaper). He was manufactured by Applause in 1983.

This is a 9" shaggy plush doll of Oscar the Grouch, who is shown in a standing position. He has bushy brown eyebrows, plastic ping-pong ball-style eyes, and a yellow shirt bearing his name in red lettering. This doll was manufactured by Knickerbocker sometime during the later 1970s or 1980s. There are some small spots of paint loss on Oscar's pupils and his manufacturer's label has been cut in half. Overall, this doll is in EX+ condition.

OSCAR THE GROUCH (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- with hoop

This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Oscar the Grouch popping out of the top of his silver trashcan, holding a large orange hoop off to his side. The pegs inside of the hoop suggest that originally there may have been something between them that spun, but we are unsure of that since the pegs do not appear to be damaged and the item itself is in virtually perfect condition, with just some minor evidence of very light surface scuffing from being played with. Oscar was manufactured by Applause and he probably dates to the 1990s.

OSWALD (Walter Lantz) molded-face doll

This beautiful item is a 1930s or 1940s doll of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, standing 21" tall. He has a firmly-stuffed cloth body and a molded cloth face that is painted delicately and very attractively, down to the rosy cheeks, pie-eyes, and whiskers. He wears an orange felt beret, a pink satiny ribbon around his neck, and tan overalls. The original cardboard hang tag that contained the copyright information for this doll is no longer present, but having had this item in our inventory a few times before, we know that Oswald was manufactured by Ideal. He has brown marks around his wrists (visible in the photograph accompanying this description), where gloves may originally have been placed. Otherwise, the doll is in wonderful condition, with only minor evidence of light wear.

OSWALD (Walter Lantz) squeak toy

This lovely, vintage item is an 8" vinyl squeak toy showing Oswald standing with both arms bent downward. He smiles and looks off toward his left side. Oswald wears red overalls with white buttons. When squeezed, this item gives off a gentle squeaking sound. It was manufactured by Sun Rubber sometime during the 1940s. Oswald is undamaged and in EX+ condition overall. He has minor paint loss on his nose and a factory-applied red streak near the base of his eyes (visible in the photograph accompanying this description).

OSWALD (Walter Lantz) planter

This is a 6" ceramic planter showing Oswald walking along and looking over his right shoulder. He wears a dark tan jacket and black pants. The planter itself is rectangular in shape and white in color. This item was manufactured by Napco in 1958 as part of a larger collection of Walter Lantz cartoon character wall hangings and planters. Overall, Oswald is in EX+ condition. He has one small surface chip in the glaze on his right hand and another on his right foot. Both of these are clearly visible in the photograph accompanying this description.

OSWALD (Walter Lantz) rubber squeak toy, rounded ears

This is a 7.5" rubber squeak toy of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, originally manufactured by Sun Rubber during the 1940s. This is the less-commonly-found variation of the Oswald squeak toys, with rounded ears, chubby belly, and hands in pants pockets. Oswald is flesh-colored and has painted-on white-and-black eyes and red overalls. When squeezed, he gives off a gentle squeaking sound. Oswald's rubber is undamaged. There has been a moderate amount of paint wear on this item, particularly on Oswald's belly and on his tail, along with some crackling in the paint. This is NOT paint chipping or anything like that, but rather, age-related crackling--almost like the kind of crazing that might be seen if this were a ceramic item of comparable age. Overall, he is in VG+ condition.

OWL (Winnie the Pooh / Walt Disney) PVC figure -- with book

This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Winnie the Pooh's friend, Owl, standing and pointing to a tan-orange book he holds underneath his right wing. This item probably dates to the 1990s and the copyright information does not indicate who made it. Owl is in NM+ condition, with minor paint loss being his only flaw.

OWL (Winnie the Pooh / Walt Disney) wall plaque

This is a 3.75x5.5" pressed cardboard wall plaque showing Owl with his wings raised, as if about to take flight, while perching on a green tree limb that is surrounded by several green leaves. This item is undamaged and it has a few small spots of edge wear on the irregular-shaped corners, leaving it in EX+ condition. It was manufactured sometime during the 1960s or 1970s as part of a set that also included Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet, and Eeyore. Owl probably was manufactured by Dolly Toy, but this is not indicated on the item.

OWL (Winnie the Pooh / Walt Disney) PVC figure

This is a 2.75" PVC figure of Winnie the Pooh's friend, Owl, who is shown trying to balance himself due to the weight the blue books contained in the purple basket that he balances on his left wing. This item bears the Disney China copyright marking and, therefore, it probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s. There is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it. Owl is undamaged but does have two small spots of paint missing from his beak, leaving him in near mint condition overall.

OWL, WINNIE THE POOH, & TIGGER (Walt Disney) mug

This pretty and unusual find is a 4" ceramic mug showing Owl standing on the grass, waving with his right hand/wing, Winnie the Pooh marching behind him with his right arm raised, and Tigger as the mug's handle. The figures of Owl and Winnie the Pooh are provided in raised-relief. This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1960s. It is in NM+ condition and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.
