GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) large plush doll

  This is a 23" soft plush doll of Grover, who is shown with a rather frightened expression on his face.  He is in nearly perfect condition and still retains his original manufacturer's label (in nice condition and sewn securely into his left hip) and his original cardboard hang tag (intact and affixed to his left hand).  The doll was manufactured by Nanco in 2003 and as shown in the photograph accompanying this description, is a somewhat lighter shade of blue than many Grover collectibles are.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) rolling toy -- Conestoga wagon

  This is a 2" tall by 2.75" long die-cast metal rolling toy with plastic wheels and a plastic cover to the Conestoga wagon.  It shows Grover as a pioneer behind the helm of the brown wagon with the yellow covering (with orange patches on it), lime green wheels, and orange barrel in back.  This toy works well and rolls easily along any smooth surface.  It was manufactured by Playskool in 1987.  Grover is undamaged but there are some small spots of paint loss on the front and rear ends, leaving the toy in NM- condition.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) mini-bean doll

  This is a 4" mini-bean doll (that is, a small beanbag-type cloth doll) of Grover, who is shown with both arms raised.  The doll was distributed by Kellogg's as a promotional giveaway inside of some of its cereals in 1999.  This doll is in mint condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label (in nice condition and sewn securely into Grover's rear end) and its original hang tag (creased but intact, and affixed to Grover's left hand).

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) helicopter rolling toy

  This is a 2.5" die-cast metal rolling toy showing Grover at the helm of a bright orange helicopter with a floppy yellow plastic propeller on top.  The toy has orange plastic wheels that enable it to roll along any hard, smooth surface, and the propeller can be spun manually in separate motion.  Grover was manufactured by Hasbro in 1981.  He is in near mint condition, with a few small spots of minor paint loss being his only flaws.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) plush doll with scarf/hat

  This is a 25" soft plush doll of Grover, who is shown with his mouth wide open and a bewildered expression on his face.  Grover wears a yellow, red, and green striped scarf around his neck and a matching ski cap on his head.  The doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Determined in 2004, and the year 2004 is sewn in red into Grover's heel.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) composition figure

  This is a 5.5" composition figure of Grover, who stands with his legs crossed while he leans against a grey fire hydrant with his right hand.  The figure is in mint condition and it comes with its original box, which is in nice condition, with minor shelf and surface wear.  Grover was manufactured by Gorham in 1976 as part of a large collection of Sesame Street / Muppets character figures.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) beanbag doll

  This is an 8" stuffed doll of Grover, whose body and legs are filled with a beanbag-style filling.  Grover is entirely blue in color other than his bulbous mulberry-colored nose, his red mouth, and his white eyes.  He was manufactured by Tyco in 1997 and is in mint condition.  He also retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Grover's rear end.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) shaggy plush doll

  This is a 12.5" shaggy plush doll of Grover, who is almost entirely blue in color other than his red cloth mouth, his glued-on plastic eyes, and his bright pink pompon nose.  The doll is undamaged and it shows only light use-related matting and play wear, leaving Grover in no worse than near mint condition.  He has no tags to indicate who made him or when he was manufactured, but our best guess is that this is a 1980s doll.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) die-cast airplane toy

  This is a 2x2.75" die-cast metal rolling toy showing Grover as the pilot of an open-air airplane.  He wears a yellow helmet and his plane is red, blue, and yellow.  When placed on a hard, smooth surface, the airplane's yellow plastic wheels enable it to roll along well and easily.  This item is in near mint condition, with a few small spots of minor paint loss scattered about.  It was manufactured by Playskool in 1986.

  This cute item is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Grover as a careless carhop.  He wears a red bowtie and a red-and-white striped vest.  In his raised left hand, he holds a red tray with a hamburger and a spilled vanilla milkshake on it.  This item was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.  It is in mint condition.

  This is a 17" soft blue plush doll of Grover, who has a mulberry-colored bulbous nose and glued-on plastic eyes.  This doll was manufactured in 2000 by Nanco, as evidenced by the original manufacturer's label that is sewn securely into Grover's left hip.  The doll is in virtually perfect condition.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) vinyl head mug

  This happy-looking item is a 3.25" vinyl mug of Grover's smiling face, from the chin upward.  It is mostly bright blue in color, with red lower lip, white eyes, and a mulberry-colored bulbous nose.  The mug is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Applause in 1995.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- cane and hat

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Grover as a vaudeville showman, complete with a white "straw" hat with a red band in his right hand and a white cane in his raised left hand.  He also wears a white collar (no shirt though) and a red bowtie.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Tara Toy and probably dates to the 1980s or earlier 1990s.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) rolling toy -- spaceship

  This is a die-cast metal rolling toy showing Grover as the pilot of a silver spaceship.  He wears a silver helmet and is at the helm of the rounded triangular spaceship with the blue base and orange lightning bolts on the sides.  The three orange plastic wheels underneath the toy are completely intact and enable Grover to be rolled across the floor with ease.  This item is free of damage but does have some paint loss, mostly on the outside edges of the blue-painted sides.  Overall, Grover is in EX- condition.  He was manufactured in 1983 by Playskool as part of a larger collection of Sesame Street / Muppet character rolling toys, each showing a different character behind the wheel of a different type of vehicle.

  This soft blue plush doll of Grover is a whopper, at 30" in size.  He has a mulberry-colored bulbous nose and a slightly-grinning expression on his face.  The doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into Grover's left hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by Nanco in 2003.

  This is a 2.75" vinyl finger puppet showing Grover from the torso upward.  His mouth is open and his holds both hands on his belly.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured sometime during the 1980s as part of a set of Sesame Street / Muppets character finger puppets that also included Ernie, Bert, Oscar the Grouch, and Big Bird, although the copyright information does not indicate who made this item.

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Grover as a farmer who waves with his left hand.  He wears a brown cowboy hat, maroon overalls, and tannish-orange shoes.  In his right hand, he holds a silver bucket.  This item's copyright information does not indicate who made it or when it was manufactured, but our best guess is that Grover dates to the 1980s or 1990s.  He is in EX condition, with no damage but some paint wear on the edge of the bucket, the edge of Grover's hat, on the back of his shoes, and on his left eye..

  This is a 16" soft plush doll of Grover, who is bright blue in color with a pink bulbous nose and glued-on plastic eyes.  He is in virtually perfect condition and comes with his original cardboard hang tag, which is slung around his neck.  Grover was manufactured in 2002 by Gund.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) flat wooden Christmas ornament

  This is a 4" flat wooden Christmas ornament showing Grover wearing pink pajamas with snowflakes on them.  He leans forward to look at the yellow-and-green gift box left for him by Santa.  This item has two small scratches on Grover's face, but no other problems or damage.  It probably dates to the 1990s and was manufactured as part of a larger set of Sesame Street / Muppets character flat wooden ornaments.  Grover's copyright information does not indicate who made him.

  This is a 4" blown-resin Christmas ornament showing Grover wearing a Santa Claus hat and popping out of a large red Santa shoe.  In his hands, he holds a gold trumpet.  This item's copyright information does not indicate who made it or when it was manufactured, although we believe that Grover dates to the 1990s and may have been made by Kurt Adler.  He is in mint condition and still retains his original thin gold lame hanging cord too.

  This is a 1" solid resin Christmas ornament showing Grover’s smiling face. The top of his head is hollowed out (kinda like an inverted thimble) and he is shown wearing a red ski cap. This item is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original gold lame hanging cord. Grover was manufactured in 2006 but the copyright information does not indicate who made him.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) soft doll

  This is a 6.75" soft stuffed doll of Grover, who is entirely bright blue in color other than his red lined mouth, mulberry-colored bulbous nose, and glued-on plastic eyes.  He is shown standing with both arms extended sideways from his body.  Grover's previous owner snipped off his manufacturer's label, but the item was purchased as part of a set of Sesame Street character dolls that were manufactured by Applause in 1995 (presumably he was part of that set).  Grover is in perfect condition, other than the absence of that label.

  This is a 3.5x4.25" vinyl rolling toy showing Grover as an aviator of a yellow topless plane with red bulbous plastic wheels.  He wears an orange helmet with matching goggles, and has a white scarf around his neck blowing in the breeze behind him.  Grover is in NM+ condition.  He was manufactured by Tyco Preschool sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament -- making snowman

  This is a 3" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Grover putting the finishing touches on his snowman, in the form of placing the head on top.  Grover wears a red muffler.  This item is in mint condition and, best of all, it comes with its original box.  The sides of the box have colorful graphics showing Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, Grover, and Oscar the Grouch inside of a diamond.  Grover was manufactured by Newcor as part of a set of Sesame Street / Muppets character ornaments.  Although undated, this item probably was manufactured sometime during the 1980s or early 1990s.

  This is a 3" heavy-duty bisque Christmas ornament showing Grover as the pilot of an open-air red airplane.  He wears a mailman's blue hat and a green-and-white striped scarf, and holds a letter marked 1999 in his right hand.  This ornament is in mint condition and it comes with its original box.  It was manufactured by Grolier Collectibles in 1999 as part of a large series of Sesame Street / Muppets character Christmas ornaments.

GROVER (Sesame Street / Muppets) superhero PVC

  This is a 4" PVC of Grover, who is dressed up as an airborne superhero, complete with a silver hat/cap, raspberry-colored superhero cape (tied around his neck with an orange bow), and a bright red "G" on his chest in a yellow area.  Below Grover's feet, there is a cloud of grey smoke . . . as if SuperGrover just propelled himself upward with his super strength.  This item was manufactured by Applause.  Although it bears no copyright year, it probably dates to the later 1980s or the 1990s.  It is in near mint condition, with some small spots of minor paint wear and no damage anywhere on the item.

  This is a 3" PVC figure showing Grover as a farmer who stands with his right arm bent akimbo on the hip while holding a tall rake in his left hand.  He wears a brown hat, matching shoes, and red overalls.  This figure is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Tara Toy and probably dates to the 1980s.

GROVER & ELMO (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure

  This is a 3.25" PVC figure showing Grover and Elmo paired together for a change.  Grover looks perplexed as he watches Elmo look up at him with a yellow Winnie the Pooh-like jack-in-the-box in his hands.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Applause in 1998.

GROVER, ERNIE, & BERT (Sesame Street / Muppets) carousel musical

  This nifty item is an 8.5" plastic carousel musical toy, showing Grover as a cowboy riding backwards atop his prancing pony, Ernie happily waving hello from the seat of his (what else?!) oversized yellow Rubber Duckie, and Bert plainly riding his off-white dove.  When the Sesame Street signpost on top of the carousel is turned, the characters revolve (to make the toy have carousel-like action) and the music plays.  Although the carousel's motion is a bit jerky, it does work and the characters do revolve as they should.  The music also plays just fine, although we do not recognize the song it is playing.  This item was manufactured in 1979 by CBS Toys.  It is undamaged but does show signs of use and play wear.  Overall, it is in EX to EX+ condition.

GRUESOME GORILLA (Warner Brothers) collector's thimble

  This is a 2.75" porcelain collector's thimble of Gruesome Gorilla, who is shown holding a bunch of bananas in his lowered right hand while balancing his weight on the grass with his left hand and arm.  Gruesome's name appears in grey raised-relief lettering on the front of the pale yellow base on which he stands.  This item was manufactured in 1998 by Lenox as part of a large set of Looney Tunes character thimbles.  It is in virtually perfect condition.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) large squeak toy

  This is a heavy-duty vinyl squeak toy of Grumpy, standing 7.5" tall.  It was manufactured during the 1960s or 1970s as part of a complete set of Seven Dwarfs squeak toys, most of which we have in stock at this time.  Grumpy wears a light purple cap, a mint green jacket, a black belt with a yellow buckle, pink pants, and brown shoes.   Seeing that, we now know one thing:  Fashion sense and color coordination were NOT his strong suits!  Anyway, he is shown holding his right hand in a fist and waving with his left hand, with the usual angry expression on his face.  When squeezed, he gives off a hearty squeaking sound.  This item has no damage anywhere on it.  It does have minor paint loss in a few places and a few very small marks that have been resistant to removal by a gentle attempt at cleaning.  Overall, this item is in EX condition.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) resin figure

  This is a 3.5" resin figure showing Grumpy angrily playing his upright piano.  He sits on a purple bench and wears a red coat with a black belt.  This item is in mint condition and comes with its original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert.  Grumpy was manufactured along with all of the other Seven Dwarfs characters and a Snow White counterpart.  He was made in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the release of the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and was made by Enesco in 2002.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) hard stuffed doll

  During the later 1960s or early 1970s, this Grumpy doll was sold as part of a complete set of hard-stuffed Seven Dwarfs dolls.  (We've got most of the others in stock at this time, too.)  Grumpy is wearing a purple cap, a green jacket, a black belt with a yellow buckle, pink pants, and brown shoes.  His furrowed eyebrows, eyes, and mouth are made of pieces of glued-on felt.  His beard is a soft cottony fabric and his arms have some type of thick, bendable wire inside of them enabling them to be posed somewhat.   Grumpy is 7.25" tall and retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice shape and sewn securely into the back of his feet.  He's even brighter in color and meaner looking in person than in the picture!

  This is a 6" stuffed cloth pillow-style Christmas ornament showing Grumpy looking, well, grumpy.  The item has a green background and shows Grumpy with his arms crossed.  He wears a yellow floppy hat, a red jacket, a yellow belt, yellow leggings, and pointy blue shoes.  There is no copyright information anywhere on this item, which we believe to have been manufactured sometime during the 1970s or 1980s as part of a complete Seven Dwarfs do-it-yourself home craft ornament set.  He is in virtually perfect condition.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) musical

  This is a 6.5" ceramic musical showing Grumpy angrily lost in thought, sitting on a blue-grey tree stump.  He wears a brown hat, a purple jacket with a black belt, brown pants, and pointy tan shoes.  When the white plastic base is wound up, the musical revolves and plays Feeling.  Both the rotation and musical mechanisms work just fine on this item.  Grumpy was manufactured by Schmid sometime during the later 1980s.  He bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking and is in mint condition.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- medium size

  This is a 4.25" bisque figurine showing Grumpy angrily standing with his right eye shut, both hands clenched in fists, and his left arm raised.  He wears a blue hat, a purple jacket, tan pants, and brown shoes.  The figurine is completely free of damage and paint loss is confined to the front of Grumpy's shoes, as shown in the photograph accompanying this description.  Overall, Grumpy is in EX condition.  The item probably dates to the later 1930s and was manufactured as part of a complete Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs bisque set.  Walt Disney is incised on the back of his jacket and Grumpy is incised on the front of his hat.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) squeak toy

  This 5" vinyl squeak toy of Grumpy resembles another that we have in stock at this time, but if you look carefully at the two and compare them, you'll notice that they differ below the waist.  Like the other, this one also has a periwinkle blue hat, a green shirt, and dark brown shoes.  This Grumpy, though, has black pants and a pale pink shirt bottom that is separated in front.  This item gives off a gentle squeaking sound when squeezed.  It was manufactured sometime during the 1970s and bears the Walt Disney Productions marking on the back of Grumpy's pants.  There are a few very small spots of paint missing here and there, but overall, Grumpy is in near mint condition.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) Christmas ornament

  This is a 4.25" blown plastic Christmas ornament showing Grumpy with his left leg raised in the air (for no apparent reason) as he waves with his raised right hand.  He wears a turquoise felt hat, an aqua cloth vest, a black buckle with a gold buckle, maroon flocked pants, and blue plastic shoes.  This item was manufactured sometime during the 1960s or 1970s as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs ornaments, but the copyright sticker on the back of Grumpy's rear end does not indicate who the manufacturer was.  He bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and is in near mint condition.

  This is a 2" ceramic figurine showing Grumpy standing with both arms by his sides.  He looks upward and wears an orange hat, a green jacket, and brown shoes.  This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the 1960s or 1970s.  Grumpy is free of damage, but he does have some paint wear on his cap.  Overall, he is in EX condition.  The copyright information does not indicate who made this item.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) latex squeak toy

  This colorful item is a 5.5" latex squeak toy of Grumpy, who was manufactured by Lanco in 1965 along with Happy and Dopey counterparts.  Grumpy is shown standing with his arms folded across his chest, scowling.  He wears a purple hat, a light blue jacket, a black belt, and blue shoes.  When squeezed, he gives off a loud, shrill squeaking sound.  This item is in NM+ condition.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- large size

  This is a 5.25" bisque figurine showing Grumpy standing with his left hand raised in a balled fist as he squints in anger.  He wears a blue cap, a purple jacket, brown pants, and red shoes.  This item is completely undamaged but, as the photograph accompanying this description shows, it does have a considerable amount of paint loss.  Grumpy was manufactured during the later 1930s as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs bisque figurines, and this particular one is from the largest set that the manufacturer made.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) posable doll

  In 1967, Gund manufactured this Grumpy doll as part of a complete set of Seven Dwarfs dolls.   We have the entire set in stock at this time.  Grumpy is 9" from top to bottom.  He is wearing a purple cap, pale olive green jacket, off-white long johns, black belt with a white buckle, and brown shoes.  His eyes and eyebrows are made of glued-on felt; his mouth and cheek accents are painted-on red markings.  Grumpy retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into his right hip.  His hands are made of plastic.  Inside of his arms and feet are thick bendable wires that enable him to be repositioned somewhat.  Grumpy's belt buckle has a small tear in it.  Otherwise, this item is in flawless condition--near mint overall.  If you decide to purchase the entire set of Seven Dwarfs dolls in a single transaction, we'll discount the price to $225 for you.

GRUMPY (Snow White / Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- small size

  This is a 3.25" bisque figurine of Grumpy, who is shown scowling and winking with his right eye closed as he holds his left arm and fist out.  He wears a purple hat, a mulberry-colored jacket, tan pants, and brown shoes.  This item is in EX condition, with no damage but several small areas of paint loss scattered about.  Grumpy's name is incised just above his forehead on his hat, and Walt Disney is incised on the back of his coat.  This item probably dates to the later 1930s or early 1940s and it may have been manufactured by Borgfeldt.  Originally, Grumpy was sold as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs figurines.

  This vinyl Grumpy squeak toy stands 5.25" tall.  It gives off a gentle squeaking sound when squeezed.  Marked Walt Disney Productions, this item dates to the 1970s.   Grumpy is shown in a lavender-colored hat, bright green shirt, black belt with yellow belt buckle, pink pants, and brown shoes.  He is in EX+ condition, with some minor paint wear along the edges of his coat's sleeves and bottom hem.
