GARFIELD hugger figure -- as
Santa
This is a plush
hugger figure of Garfield, measuring 5.5" from the bottom of his rump to
the top of his red Santa Claus hat with the tinkling bell inside of it.
His arms and legs are placed tightly together on his right side as he looks over
his left shoulder. They can be separated slightly, though, enabling
Garfield to be affixed to a thin surface to hug it. We tried him out on
our computer's glare guard, and he holds onto it perfectly. This item was
manufactured by Dakin during the 1980s. It is in NM+ condition and retains
its original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely
into Garfield's rear end.

This is a
5.25" ceramic Christmas bell showing Garfield wearing a Santa Claus hat and
sitting on top of a white bell dome that is decorated with two sprigs of
holly. The bell is incised Christmas 1982. This item was
manufactured by Enesco and retains the original gold foil manufacturer's sticker
on the inside of the bell. It is free of damage and is in NM+ condition.

This is a 12"
red plastic lollipop-like decorative item showing Garfield wearing a blue cape
as he stands with his left foot resting on a yellow typewriter. The black

This item is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by Dakin sometime
during the 1990s as part of a small set of lollipop-like decorative items.

This is a
10.5" plush doll showing Garfield standing with his arms and legs spread
apart. He has a contented grin on his face. The doll is entirely
plush, other than the glued-on plastic eyes and nose. This doll was
manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s, and the original manufacturer's
label is intact and in nice condition, sewn securely into Garfield's left
hip. The doll is in NM to NM+ condition, with a few minor and very light
scuffs on the plastic face being its only flaws.

player
During the 1980s,
Enesco manufactured a sizable collection of ceramic Garfield sports
figurines. This 2.5" example is from that set and it shows him
kicking a soccer ball with his right foot. Garfield balances his weight by
extending his arms outward. This item is in mint condition and it comes
with its original cardboard hang tag.

figure
This is a 2.75" die-cast metal figure showing Garfield as a cowboy . . . riding a
hobby horse Pony Express. He wears a tan cowboy hat, a blue outfit with a
red vest, and has his feet inside of the tan holster of his brown hobby horse's
saddle. This item is in mint, unused condition and is still contained
inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and is still mounted on its
original 7x5.25" cardboard mounting card. The mounting card bears an
image of Garfield standing with his left hand and index finger raised.
Both the blisterpack and mounting card are in very nice condition. There
is a bubble caption above the Garfield figure's head saying Ride On! as
if he is speaking to his hobby horse. This item was manufactured by Ertl
in 1990.

Here's a hard one
for you to believe: Garfield as an angel! Our 8.5" tall plush
hero wears white satiny angel wings on his back and holds a yellow cloth magic
wand with a satiny yellow star on it. Garfield is in mint condition and
retains his original manufacturer's label and his original plastic hang
tag. He was made by R. Dakin Company during the 1980s. We also
have his counterpart, the far more believable devil doll, in stock at this time.

GARFIELD swizzle sticks
Here is an unusual
item for your Garfield collection! It is a sealed package of 8 plastic
6" swizzle sticks featuring Garfield's smiling head as the sticks'
handle. These items are entirely orange in color, with black raised-relief
facial features for Garfield. The item was manufactured by Hallmark and it
probably dates to the 1980s or early 1990s. The swizzle sticks are in
mint, unused condition.

This
ceramic figurine of Garfield was manufactured by Enesco during the 1980s. It shows
Garfield pointing with his left hand to an apple that he is holding in his right hand,
with a caption reading "Look, we all can use brownie points." The figurine
is 3.5" tall. It comes with its original gold foil Enesco sticker on the bottom
of the base and is in NM+ condition, with one or two tiny spots of paint missing on
Garfield's back stripe(s).

stuffed again
Well, it seems that
our friend, Garfield, has really outdone himself this time! This 8"
plush doll of him is nearly as wide as it is tall. It shows him sitting
with his feet in the air, wearing a red-and-white checked bib. In black
lettering, the bib says Stuffed Again. Garfield has some light
discoloration on his plastic eyes (visible in the photograph accompanying this
description), but no other flaws. He was manufactured by Dakin sometime
during the 1980s.

player
This is a 5.5"
ceramic bank showing Garfield as a football player. He holds a football in
both hands, off toward his right side, and wears a red helmet with a white
stripe down the middle. The bank's coin slot is located on the back of the
helmet and the original generic black rubber stopper is missing. This item
was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s, and the original gold foil
copyright sticker is present underneath the bank. When originally
released, this bank was part of a sports-themed set that also showed Garfield
with a soccer ball, a baseball, and a basketball. This item has no damage
but there is a moderate amount of paint loss (which did not show up well in the
photograph) on the red painted areas of the back of Garfield's helmet. Due
to this paint loss, we consider this item to be in EX condition.

plush doll showing Garfield standing on a pair of brown faux-leather curved
skis. He wears a striped blue ski cap with a white pompon and a matching

Here, we see
Garfield as a happy, yet beaten, boxer who is shown resting on his behind after
being knocked out. Perhaps Odie FINALLY got his wish and clocked
him!! Garfield wears red boxing gloves and matching trunks, and his top
left front tooth has been knocked out. He is 2" tall and is in mint
condition, still sealed inside of his original clear-plastic blisterpack and
still mounted on his original cardboard mounting card. This particular
item was entitled Athletes Feat by Dakin when the company made the item,
which was sometime during the 1980s.

ceramic Christmas ornament showing Garfield dressed as Santa Claus. He
stands with a large yellow star in front of him with 1986 written on it in dark

original gold lame hanging cord and its original gold foil manufacturer's
label. Garfield is in mint condition.

This
frightened-looking Garfield stands 6.5" tall and perched on a plastic
surfboard. Garfield himself is a soft plush doll with glued-on plastic
eyes, Hawaiian style cloth shorts with yellow hibiscus flowers on them (yuck!!),
and an aqua-colored surfboard with a yellow stripe down the center. He was
manufactured by the R. Dakin Company and still retains his original cardboard
hang tag, which is affixed to his left ear. This item has minor paint wear
and no damage and, overall, is in near mint condition.

This is a 9"
plush doll showing Garfield as a cat in sheep's clothing. He has
"woolly" white sheepskin, including such covering on his hears, and a
pale blue satiny bowtie. This doll has no damage and very little wear and,
thus, is in not baaaaaad condition overall (NM to NM+). Garfield's worst
"problem" is a few small, light marks on his plastic eyeballs.
The doll was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s, and the original
manufacturer's label is intact and in nice condition, sewn securely into
Garfield's rear end.

This is a 5.5"
ceramic wall plaque that is framed in a wooden frame. The tile shows
Garfield removing a red blindfold from his eyes while he holds the scales of
justice in his left hand. Above him, the word "Lawyer" appears
in black lettering, and the grey block lettering behind him says "World's
Greatest." This item probably dates to the 1980s and probably was
manufactured by Enesco. It is in NM+ condition and it has a metallic ring
on back, enabling it to be hung from a nail or peg on the wall.

This is a
2.75" wooden Christmas ornament showing Garfield dressed as Santa

sometime during the 1990s. It retains its original gold foil copyright
label and its thin gold lame hanging cord. Garfield is undamaged and in

This is a 4.5"
plastic Christmas stocking hanger showing Garfield lying on his stomach, wearing
a Santa Claus hat, with his left front paw dangling down. It is the
dangling paw that is meant to hold the stocking. Inside of the end of the
hat, there is a bell that clanks around whenever this item is moved. This
item probably dates to the 1980s; and in all likelihood, it was manufactured by
Enesco. It is undamaged and has only minor surface wear, leaving it in NM
to NM+ condition.

This ceramic
figurine of Garfield the skier is nearly 3" tall. It shows him
wearing a blue ski cap with a white pompon on the end and a white border around
the bottom, and a matching scarf. He holds white ski poles in both hands
and stands on a pair of white skis. This item was manufactured by Enesco
during the 1980s as part of its Garfield sports series, which also included
figures of Garfield bowling, playing tennis, playing football, playing hockey,
playing baseball, rollerskating, and ice skating. (We have most of these
in stock at this time as well.) This figurine retains its original gold
foil manufacturer's sticker and the figurine is free of damage. There are
a few very small spots of paint loss on the blue paint of his hat and scarf, as
well as on the grey bottoms of his ski poles, leaving Garfield in near mint
condition overall.

Looks like Garfield is at
it again, this time on the prowl for rabbits! He is dressed like an
oversized Easter Rabbit, complete with a carrot to tempt his prey. The
bubble caption above his ears says Here Rabbit, Rabbit. This item
is a ceramic egg-shaped bank, standing 4.75" tall. The coin slot is
located on top of the egg and the original generic white rubber stopper is no
longer present on the
underside. This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the
1980s. item is in NM+ condition.

This is a
2.75" resin Christmas ornament showing Garfield wearing a Santa Claus hat

box, which also retains its original clear-plastic protective insert.
Garfield was manufactured in 1996 by Matrix Industries as part of a larger
collection of Garfield (and friends) ornaments.

During the 1980s,
Enesco manufactured a large collection of sports-related Garfield figurines,
each showing Garfield in a different sport's attire. This rollerskating
figurine came from that set, which also included baseball, bowling, basketball,
hockey, ice skating, football, and skiing figurines. This Garfield is
2.5" tall and is shown with his right knee on the ground, wearing blue
rollerskates with grey wheels. The original manufacturer's gold foil
sticker is present underneath the figurine. This item is free of damage
and paint wear and, thus, is in mint condition. It also comes with its
original cardboard hang tag which is in nice condition with minor edge and
corner wear.

Mother's Day
This is a
3.75" ceramic (or glazed earthenware) coffee cup, white in color, serving
as the Happy Mother's Day Garfield cup. It shows Garfield holding a
diapered Pookie in his left hand while he vacuums the floor with a blue vacuum
cleaner. Garfield wears a red babushka, a red apron, and pink house
slippers, as his iron burns the polka dot cloth on his grey ironing board.
The black caption inside of the upper rim of the coffee cup says Happy
Mother's Day. Big Deal. The mug is in mint condition. Best
of all, it comes with its original box, which has some edge and corner wear, but
is intact and generally in nice shape. This item was manufactured sometime
during the 1980s by Enesco.

This is a 3.5"
heavy-duty ceramic coffee cup / mug showing Garfield as a Cool Daddy. He
holds a soft drink glass in his left hand and is shown wearing turquoise
sunglasses, a red ascot, and a black-and-white striped smoking jacket. In
person, the blue backdrop for this mug is darker than it appears in the
photograph. The mug is undamaged and in NM+ condition, with one tiny spot
of paint loss on the lower blue field on the reverse side of the mug.
Garfield was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.

This is a 3.5"
plush hugging figure of Garfield, who has a glued-on plastic face. He has
some type of internal mechanism that keeps his hands clasped together quite
firmly, thereby enabling him to grab hold of thin things and remain in place on
them. Garfield retains his original manufacturer's label, but its writing
is so faint that it is impossible to read. In all likelihood, this item
was manufactured during the early 1990s. It is in nearly perfect condition
and its gripping/hugging action works very well.

tag. Garfield was manufactured by Dakin as part of its Fun Farm series
sometime during the 1980s, and was named Garfield Catchin' Some Rays in

to be the Old Man from Old Man (or should we say Old Garf?!) and the Sea.
This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original
manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely to the interior of Garfield's left

plastic figural alarm clock showing Garfield sitting with his hands resting atop
his belly . . . which serves as the face for this clock. The clock keeps
good time and the alarm works properly too (which we found out the hard way when
it went off by mistake at 5:25 a.m.!). The clock works on batteries.
It was manufactured by Nelson sometime during the 1980s. It is undamaged
and has only minor wear on the back, leaving it in near mint condition.

This very nifty
item is a Garfield plush doll, standing 10" tall. It shows him with a
big, toothy grin on his face, with both arms extended outward from his
body. His torso consists of a fully-functional battery-operated
clock. The plastic around the clock rotates to allow access inside, where
the battery can be replaced as necessary. Just to add fun to this
already-interesting item, Garfield's eyes and teeth glow in the dark. This
item is in mint condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label,
which is sewn securely into Garfield's rear end. It was manufactured by
Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

This is a 9"
plush doll showing Garfield dressed as a tourist. He wears a green visor,
an aqua cloth shirt with yellow flowers on it, and he has a black cloth camera
around his neck. This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its
original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into
Garfield's left hip. It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the
1980s.

GARFIELD ceramic World's Greatest
Friend trophy
This
is a 4.75" tall ceramic figurine of Garfield popping out of a cream-colored World's
Greatest Friend trophy cup. Garfield is shown with his eyes closed, grinning, with
his arms outstretched in joy. The item was manufactured during the 1980s by Enesco
as part of a larger set of "World's Greatest [x]" trophy figurines. The
ceramic is undamaged and there is no paint loss anywhere on this item. Its only flaw
is some minor wear along the edges of the "friend" decal on the front of the
cup.

GARFIELD bank -- feed the
kitty
This is a 6"
ceramic bank showing Garfield sitting with his silver knife and fork held in the
air, awaiting his next meal. Around his neck, he wears a red
napkin/bandanna that says Feed the Kitty in black, block lettering.
The bank's coin slot is located on top of Garfield's head and the original
generic black rubber stopper is present underneath the bank. This item was
manufactured during the 1980s by Enesco, and the original gold foil copyright
sticker is present underneath the bank, too. Garfield is completely free
of damage and the only wear is on the Feed the Kitty lettering on his
napkin/bandanna. Overall, this item is in near mint condition.

GARFIELD PVC wrestler figure
This is a 2.5"
vinyl or PVC figure of Garfield, who is shown as a wrestler wearing a red
uniform. Across his middle, there is a black belt with a large white
"W" medallion on it. Garfield also wears black wrestling
shoes. He is in mint condition, having never been removed from his
original clear-plastic blisterpack or his original 7x5.5" cardboard
mounting card. The blisterpack is completely intact but does have some
crinkling on the lower portion of it. The mounting card has some corner
wear and the original price (25 cents) written on the upper right-hand corner in
black magic marker. This item was manufactured by Dakin as part of a
larger sports-themed series of Garfield collectibles known as the Athletes Feat
series.

GARFIELD push-base figure
This
plastic push-base Garfield toy is one of several that were manufactured during the 1980s,
each with a different caption on the base and each showing Garfield slightly differently.
(We have several others in stock at this time as well.) This particular one
is 3.5" tall and shows Garfield holding his stomach as he sits contentedly in front
of his overflowing lime green cat food bowl. The caption on front says "Take me
home -- feed me!" in black lettering against a lime green background. When the
base is depressed, Garfield's head swivels a quarter turn, toward his food. The
plastic figure has no damage or paint wear on it. The paper label on Garfield's cat
food bowl is intact but peeling slightly in the back corner. A dab of glue would
solve this problem easily and completely. Overall, this item is in NM to NM+
condition.
