LUCY (Peanuts) terry cloth doll
This rare find is
one of the Lucy dolls from the Determined Playpen Pal set, manufactured during
the 1970s. It shows her wearing a yellow dress with an orange sash, yellow
socks, and white-and-black bucks-style shoes. Lucy is 8.5" tall and
smiling widely, with her arms outstretched from her sides. She is in mint
condition, still sealed inside of her original packaging. She is covered
with terry cloth and has a foam stuffing. These Playpen Pal dolls are

1970s, Avon manufactured a large number of Peanuts character bath items,
including this bubble bath figure of Lucy. It stands nearly 6" tall

LUCY (Peanuts) nodder
During the
mid-1960s, Lego manufactured a set of six Peanuts character composition
nodders. Included in this set were Snoopy, Schroeder, Linus, Charlie
Brown, Pig Pen, and this one of Lucy, standing 6" tall. She wears a
red dress with a white collar and black stitching, white socks, and
white-and-black bucks-style shoes. She stands atop a square black base
bearing her name on front. This item is undamaged and it has no hairlines,
cracks, or repairs anywhere on it. Lucy's previous owner must have REALLY
enjoyed watching her head bobble (which it does very well), though, as there is
considerable paint wear on her shoulder pads and along her neck, resulting from
excessively harsh bobbing action over the years. The composition itself is
undamaged even in these areas; the detraction, as the photograph shows, is paint
loss there. Overall, Lucy is in EX condition. NOTE:
We strongly encourage buyers to purchase insurance along with this item, due to
its fragile nature.

LURCH (Addams Family) candy dispenser
This is a 4.5"
plastic candy dispenser of Lurch, who is shown with bright blue skin. He
is slouching with a rather grim expression on his face. He wears a pale
yellow shirt, a black bowtie, a lime green vest, a brown jacket, black pants,
and greenish-grey shoes. This item is in mint condition and it remains
sealed in its original cellophane, with all of the original candy inside of
it. Lurch was made in 1993 by Bee International and was sold along with
Uncle Fester and Gomez Addams counterparts.

LYLE THE LION (Animal Crackers) musical
This nifty item is
an 8" reinforced cardboard box-style musical featuring Lyle the Lion from
the 1980s comic strip Animal Crackers. He is shown amidst a jungle
scene, with an elephant and a deer looking on. When the drawer knob is
pulled and opened, Lyle dances around and the musical plays Talk to the
Animals. The dancing and musical mechanisms work perfectly. This
item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1985. It is in near mint
condition, with some edge wear being the item's only real "problem" .
. . and a minor one it is at that.
