this particular item is a bit greenish-honey in color rather than the pure honey coloring
that usually typifies Winnie the Pooh. Whatever the reason for this coloring,
though, it is definitely original to the item. The underside of Winnie's feet bears
the Disney/China copyright marking, indicating that this item was probably manufactured

This is
a 5.75" rough vinyl squeak toy of Winnie the Pooh, sitting with a brown
"hunny" jar in his lap, as he licks at the top of the jar. One of the
neatest things about this particular item is that it actually depicts Winnie the Pooh with
seams on his head, arms, and legs . . . the way he was drawn in the earlier storybooks.
When squeezed, this item gives off a loud squeaking sound. It was
manufactured by Holland Hall in 1966. Winnie is in EX+ to NM- condition, with a few

upright. There is a weight inside of the umbrella that prevents Winnie from ever
being upside down, no matter what position the ball/sphere is rolled into. No
manufacturer is indicated anywhere on this item; it probably dates to the 1970s or
1980s. There are some light surface scratches on the ball/sphere resulting from
being played with over the years; but the item is free of damage. Overall, it is in
near mint condition.

Productions copyright marking. Winnie the Pooh himself springs up from the box when
the handle is cranked and the Pop Goes the Weasel song hits the right spot.
Other than a small spot of paint missing from his nose, the pop-up figure of Winnie is in
very nice condition. The box itself has very attractive graphics on all sides.
On front, there is an image of Winnie the Pooh holding a red balloon. By the crank
handle, we see Christopher Robbin playing a drum. On back, there are images of Owl,
Eeyore, Kanga and Roo, and on the other side we see Piglet, Tigger, and Rabbit holding
hands and dancing with one another. The litho is nearly flawless and the tin box has

his red shirt. These tiny spots might come off with a careful cleaning, which we did
not try for fear of inadvertently removing some of the shirt's red paint. Overall,

also. When the bottom is wound up, the musical revolves and plays its
song. Both the rotating and musical mechanisms work just fine, although we
do not recognize the song that the musical plays. This item bears the Walt
Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the 1960s or
1970s. It closely resembles the Schmid musicals made around that time, but
there is no indication on the item that it was, indeed, manufactured by

WINNIE THE POOH (Walt Disney) jack-in-the-box
This is
the Winnie the Pooh in the Music Box toy, manufactured in Spain (no maker is listed)
sometime during the later 1960s or 1970s. When the crank is turned, the song The

pops up from the closed box. The tune plays well and the pop-up action is in perfect
working order. There are a number of small scratches in the paint on all surfaces of
the metal box, but they are all quite small and do not detract much at all from the item's
appearance. There are also some small, superficial dents in the box as well,
primarily on its back. Winnie the Pooh's nose shows signs of paint loss, from
rubbing against the edge of the box when he pops up, and there are a few marks on the side

WINNIE THE POOH (Walt Disney) nodder
This is a 6" composition nodder of Winnie the
Pooh, who is shown sitting on a pale green base, legs in front of him, wearing a
red shirt. When the head is touched, he bobbles all over the place.
This item has a gold foil sticker on the back of the base bearing the Walt
Disney Productions copyright marking, suggesting that it dates to the 1960s or
1970s. The paint on this item is in flawless condition and is unusually
nice for this rare and tough-to-find nodder. The item's only problem is a
very small ding (about 1/8" in size) in the underside rim of his
neck. This is not visible at all when the item is displayed or played
with, only when it is turned upside down. Overall, this item is in near
mint condition and is definitely among the nicest examples of this item that we
have ever seen.
