ZIGGY doll -- count your blessings

  This is a 7.25" soft stuffed Ziggy doll with a beanbag-style filling in the torso.  He wears a light blue shirt with blue-and-white checked sleeves.  The caption on his shirt says Count your blessings . . . not sheep!  This item was manufactured by Kellytoy in 1998.  It is in NM+ condition and comes with its original manufacturer's label (in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip) and its original cardboard hang tag (curled and folded, but intact and affixed to Ziggy's left hand).

ZIGGY Class of '88 doll

  This is an 8" doll of Ziggy with a soft stuffed body and a vinyl head.  Ziggy is wearing a royal blue graduation cap and gown, complete with its original tassel, as he celebrates the Class of '88.  Beneath the gown, he wears lighter blue pants/shorts.   Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1988 and is one of many similar dolls that the company made around and since that time.  This one is undamaged and in NM to NM+ condition.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.

ZIGGY trinket box -- raining daisies

  This is a 2.25" tall by 3.25" square ceramic (or glazed earthenware) trinket box showing Ziggy wearing a green shirt.  He holds a large daisy umbrella over his head, to protect him from the daisy rain shower that his yellow duck friend is so thoroughly enjoying in front of him.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1978.

ZIGGY heart-shaped candy dish

  This is a 6" porcelain candy dish showing Ziggy happily resting on a red heart-shaped pillow.  The dish itself is heart-shaped, white in color, with a gold rim.  The black caption above Ziggy says Love is a nice cozy feeling.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1980.

ZIGGY trophy  -- Darn I'm Good

  This is a 5" plastic trophy of Ziggy, who is shown wearing an orange shirt and standing with his eyes closed, head/nose up, smiling.  The black-lettering caption on the metallic face plate of the trophy's base says Darn! I'm Good!!  This item was manufactured by Aviva in 1980 along with several other Ziggy trophies, each showing him in a different pose and with a different caption on the base.  The original gold foil manufacturer's sticker is intact on the back of the black base, as is the red felt protective covering on the underside of the base.  There is some mottling evident on the front of the face plate, but otherwise, this item is without damage or wear.  It is in near mint condition overall.

ZIGGY first mate doll

  This is a 7" cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He is dressed as a sailor, complete with a white hat with a blue band, a blue shirt with a bib on back, blue pants, and black shoes.  The front of his shirt says First Mate in white lettering, and his sleeves have two stripes and a red heart on them.  This doll was manufactured by American Greetings in 1987.  It is in NM to NM+ condition, with some light smudge marks on Ziggy's face being the doll's only flaw.

ZIGGY resin statue

  This putty-colored plastic resin statue of Ziggy is one of the earliest series of Ziggy collectible items ever manufactured.  It stands 5.75" tall and shows Ziggy standing on a round pedestal that says Smile: God loves you on it in black lettering.  It was manufactured in 1972 by American Greetings and is one of a few such statues that we have in stock at this time.  This item retains its original manufacturer's sticker on the underside of the base.  It has several very small rough spots on the top of Ziggy's head but no other condition-related things to note.  Overall, this Ziggy is in near mint condition.

ZIGGY cloth & vinyl doll -- as Cupid

  This cloth and vinyl doll of Ziggy is about 6.5" tall.  It has a vinyl head, plastic bow, and stuffed, cloth-covered body.  This Ziggy is shown dressed as Cupid, complete with white satiny angel's wings, a bright red shirt, a satiny white sash with "I love you" written across it in red lettering, and white boxer shorts with red hearts all over them.  In his left hand, Cupid Ziggy holds a red plastic bow, presumably for shooting his lovers' arrows.  This item was manufactured in 1988 by American Greetings.  It is in great condition, with no apparent wear, damage, or missing parts.  Ziggy even comes with his original heart-shaped cardboard gift tag, which is affixed to his right hand.

ZIGGY wall plaque

  This is a 5" round plaster wall plaque showing Ziggy wearing a blue shirt.  He holds both hands together and clasps a green balloon's string.  He stands beneath a red, orange, and yellow "rainbow" that says Especially for you on it in cursive lettering.  This item has a gritty, shimmery coating that makes it shine more in person than the photograph indicates.  The plaque is in NM+ condition.  It probably dates to the 1980s and there is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.  Its original price sticker is intact on the back of the plaque, showing that it once sold for $4.00.

ZIGGY jack-o-lantern doll

  This is an 11.5" plush doll showing Ziggy wearing a jack-o-lantern costume for Halloween, complete with a stem hat.  This doll was manufactured as part of a set of Halloween-themed Ziggy dolls by Kellytoy in 2003.  It is in mint condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag, which remains affixed to Ziggy's left hand.

ZIGGY bedtime elf doll

  This is one of the many cute Ziggy dolls that American Greetings manufactured during the 1980s and 1990s.  It is a 6.5" stuffed doll with a vinyl head, showing Ziggy dressed as a ready-for-bedtime elf, clad in a red shirt with "I love u" on the front in white lettering, a red-and-white striped nightcap with a red pompon on the end, and matching shirt, socks, and toes.  Ziggy dates to 1989 and is in near mint condition, with the missing pompon on the end of his nightcap being his only true flaw.  He even has a red lipstick mark (from Santa, do you think?  or perhaps that would be Mrs. Claus?   Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?  another of Santa's little helpers?   hmmmmm . . . kinda makes ya wonder, huh?!) on his left cheek.

ZIGGY PVC figure -- butterfly

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure of Ziggy, showing him wearing a bright blue shirt.  He has a yellow butterfly perched on his nose and he holds a yellow butterfly net in his lowered right hand.  This figure was manufactured in 1981 by Knickerbocker as part of a larger collection of Ziggy PVC figures.  This one is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY small doll -- think chocolate

  This is a 3" vinyl figure showing Ziggy standing with his arms and feet spread apart from his sides.  He wears a lavender shirt that says Think Chocolate on it in black lettering.  This figure is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original blue plastic hang tag.  Ziggy was manufactured in 2005 by Applause as part of a set of Ziggy figures.

ZIGGY resin figure -- trying to find myself

  This is a 6" putty-colored resin statue showing Ziggy standing on a round platform with a confused expression on his face.  The base has a caption saying I'm trying to find myself . . . Where am I . . . ?  The figure is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's copyright sticker on the underside of the base.  It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1972.

ZIGGY doll -- I love you

  This is a 7" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy who has a vinyl head.  He wears a red shirt that says I love you! on front in grey lettering, along with a white hat with red hearts adorning it.  This doll was manufactured in 1986 by American Greetings.  Ziggy retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into his right hip.  The doll is undamaged and shows only minor signs of use or wear, leaving it in NM or NM+ condition.

ZIGGY "imagine" doll

  This is a 14" soft stuffed Ziggy doll with a beanbag-style filling inside of the belly.  Ziggy wears a yellow shirt that says Imagine in blue lettering, and the shirt has yellow-and-white checked sleeves.  It was manufactured by Kellytoy in 1998 and is in mint condition.  Ziggy also retains his original manufacturer's label, which is affixed to his left hip.

ZIGGY trophy -- I love you

  This is a 5" plastic trophy showing Ziggy wearing blue and sitting on top of a large scarlet heart.  The black, cursive lettering caption on the heart (which continues on the metallic face plate on the front of the trophy's black rectangular base) says . . . I Love you . . . from the bottom of my heart!  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It retains its original gold foil manufacturer's copyright sticker and its original red felt protective undercovering.  Ziggy was manufactured by Aviva in 1980.

ZIGGY heart-shaped trinket box -- in heart patch

  This is a 4" ceramic heart-shaped trinket box, showing Ziggy parting a patch of red heart flowers.  He wears a red shirt and below him, in red cursive writing, the caption says Have a lovely day!  This item is in mint condition.  It was made by WWA in 1981 as part of a larger collection of Ziggy trinket boxes, many of which we have in stock at this time.

ZIGGY Class of '94 doll

  This is a 6.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a royal blue graduation cap and gown (complete with tassel, even!) that says Class of '94 on front in white lettering.  Ziggy holds a white pennant in his left hand that says Way to go! in blue block lettering.  This doll was manufactured by American Greetings in 1994.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  There is a small, faint blue mark on his nose, and otherwise, Ziggy is in perfect condition.  Overall, he is in no worse than near mint condition.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- you're #1

  This is a 7.75" stuffed cloth Ziggy doll with a beanbag filling in the body.  Ziggy wears a mustard yellow shirt that says You're #1 on front, with the green numeral 1 smiling at us.  This doll is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured in 1978 by Knickerbocker.  Ziggy retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into his left hip.

ZIGGY stocking holder

  This is a 3.5x5.5" resin Christmas stocking holder showing Ziggy dressed as Santa Claus.  He leans forward with his right hand extended, and that is the part that holds the stocking.  Ziggy has a corrugated rubber mat on his belly, enabling him to grip onto a mantel without slipping.  This item is in NM+ condition and it comes with its original box.  The box has some wear and a tape and magic marker marking on the top flap, but is intact and generally in nice condition overall.  Ziggy was manufactured by Enesco in 1990.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- with flowers

  This cute item is a 2.75" ceramic figurine showing Ziggy holding a bouquet of flowers in his right hand.  He wears a green shirt and is smiling sweetly with his rosy cheeks.  This item was manufactured in 1982 by American Greetings as part of a larger ceramic Ziggy figurine set.  It is undamaged and in NM+ condition.  Ziggy even retains his original gold foil manufacturer's sticker, which is affixed to the underside of his feet.

ZIGGY "class of '86" graduation doll

  Manufactured by American Greetings in 1984, this 7.25" Ziggy graduation doll is one of many that the company manufactured during the 1980s and 1990s. Ziggy has a vinyl head and a soft stuffed body. He is shown wearing a bright blue mortarboard, bright blue graduation shirt/gown with light blue "Class of ‘86" lettering on the front, and light bluish-purple shorts. This item is in nearly perfect condition and comes complete with its original manufacturer’s label (which is in great shape and sewn securely into Ziggy’s right hip) and its original "not to be removed until delivered to the customer" label.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- with heart

  This cute item is a 2.5" ceramic figurine showing Ziggy holding a red heart in front of him.  He wears an orange-yellow shirt and has a smile on his face, which even comes complete with rosy cheeks.  The figurine is undamaged but there are a few areas of paint loss on the corners of the heart and on the front of Ziggy's shirt sleeves (all of which are visible in the photograph accompanying this description).  This item is in NM- to NM condition.  It was manufactured in 1982 by American Greetings as part of a larger collection of small-sized Ziggy ceramic figurines.  The original gold foil manufacturer's sticker is present underneath Ziggy's feet.

ZIGGY world's worst bowler mug

  This is a 5.25" milk glass root beer mug showing Ziggy as the World's Worst Bowler.  One side of the mug shows his blue bowling ball standing between the 7/10 pin split.  The other side shows Ziggy and two fellow bowlers staring at a hole in the bowling lane as they stand beneath a sign saying Do not loft ball.  This mug was manufactured in 1977, but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  It is in virtually perfect condition.

ZIGGY egg-shaped bank -- chicken feed

  This is a 2.75" ceramic egg-shaped bank, showing Ziggy watching a feeding chicken.  The chicken is eating out of a tan money sack and the red-lettering caption above Ziggy's head says Chicken Feed.  The bank's coin slot is located on the back of the bank and the original generic plastic stopper is present underneath it.  Although no copyright information appears on this item, it was probably made by WWA Inc. during the early 1980s.  Free of damage and marks, this item is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY soup mug

  This uncommon find is a 2.75" tall by 6.5" long earthenware soup mug featuring Ziggy.  He wears a yellow shirt and holds a white soup spoon in his left hand.  Looking unhappy, the letters in his alphabet soup spell out the word Help for our hapless friend.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1978.  Interestingly, there is a factory flaw with the copyright information on the underside of the mug:  It is printed backwards!

ZIGGY Jolly Hollydays doll

  This is one of many stuffed and vinyl Ziggy dolls that American Greetings manufactured.   This one is 7" from the top of Ziggy's head to the bottoms of his feet.   Here, our hero is dressed as Santa Claus with lime green gloves and with a sprig of holly on the fuzzy white edge of his cap.  The front of his Santa Claus suit says "Jolly hollydays" in green lettering.  This item was manufactured in 1975, according to the original manufacturer's label, which is present and in great shape, sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  This item is complete and undamaged and in near mint to NM+ condition.

ZIGGY large "Have a Ziggyful Day" doll

  This is a 14" Ziggy doll with a soft stuffed head and a beanbag-style chest, arms, and feet.  He wears an orange-and-white checked shirt that has a bright solid orange front.  The front has an image of a rising sum, below which, in white lettering, it says Have a Ziggyful Day.  This item was made by the English company, Kellytoy, in 1998.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  This doll is free of damage and has minor wear on the "Z" in "Ziggyful" and on the "D" and "A" in "day."  Overall, it is in near mint condition.

ZIGGY trophy -- somebody moves it

  Aviva manufactured this 5" plastic Ziggy trophy in 1980, along with many other Ziggy trophies showing him in other poses with other captions beneath him.  This one shows him in a blue shirt, looking over his right shoulder.  The black-lettering caption on the metallic face plate of the trophy says Every time I figure out where it's at . . . somebody moves it!!  This item retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker on the back of the trophy's black base, as well as its original red felt protective covering beneath it.  There is no damage or paint loss, just some minor superficial scratching on the face plate.  Overall, this item is in near mint condition.

ZIGGY candle in jar

  We have never before seen a Ziggy item quite like this one.  It is a 5.25" pink vinyl candle holder with hearts and Valentines on its sides and a removable vinyl Ziggy head on top.  Inside, about three-quarters of the original white candle remains in place, ready for use.  The two stickers on the underside of the candle holder do not indicate who made this item or when it was manufactured, although our best guess would be that it is a 1980s piece.  It is in near mint condition, other than the fact that the candle inside is partially used.

ZIGGY postman doll

  This is an 18" stuffed doll showing Ziggy as a postman.  He has a vinyl head, a blue cotton cloth postman's uniform, a red bowtie, and a white canvas mail sack slung underneath his right arm.  The mail bag has a red heart border and says Special Delivery in blue lettering.  He retains his original cardboard hang tag, which is in pretty nice condition, and his original manufacturer's copyright label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into his rear end.  Ziggy was manufactured in 1988 by WWA.  He is in NM+ condition.  He is much larger than virtually all of the Ziggy dolls that have been made over the years and his internal stuffing is heavier and more sturdy than most Ziggy dolls.

ZIGGY doll -- you done good

  This is a 9" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-style filling in his body.  He wears a royal blue graduation mortarboard and gown.  The front of his shirt says You done good!  This doll was manufactured by Applause in 1981.  It is in NM- condition, with no damage but a few small light surface spots on Ziggy's feet (visible in the photograph accompanying this description).  Ziggy's original manufacturer's label is intact and in nice shape, sewn securely into his rear end.

ZIGGY bell-shaped Christmas ornament

  This is a 2.5" porcelain bell-shaped Christmas ornament showing a rejoicing Ziggy wearing a red shirt.  Above him, in green lettering, the caption says Joyous Holidays!  The clapper is intact inside of the bell and the gold trim is unblemished along its lower rim.  This item was manufactured in 1982, but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Ziggy is in mint condition.

ZIGGY bell -- on swing

  This is a 3.5" ceramic bell of Ziggy, who is shown sitting on a swing in the middle of a snowstorm.  He wears a red shirt and a green scarf with a yellow band across it.  As he gleefully swings, the red-lettering cursive caption above him says Merry Everything!  The bell's handle is roughly shaped like a heart and is gold in color.  This item was manufactured by WWA in 1979.  It is in NM+ condition, with no damage and just a few traces of paint loss.

ZIGGY doll -- hoppy Easter

  This Ziggy doll is nearly 15" tall.  It has a soft stuffed head and arms, and a beanbag type of filling in the belly and feet.  Ziggy wears a yellow shirt that says Hoppy Easter on it in green lettering, with the "o" being an Easter egg.  This doll is in mint condition and it still retains its original cardboard hang tag, which is affixed to Ziggy's left hand.  It was manufactured by Kellytoy in 2000.

ZIGGY metal trinket box

  This is a 3.5" metal trinket box showing five images of Ziggy, all of which are united by a candle theme.  The box has minimal wear and no damage, leaving it in no worse than near mint condition.  It was manufactured by American Greetings and is undated.  In all likelihood, this is an early 1980s piece.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- hullo friend

  This is a 7.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy who has a beanbag-style filling in his midriff.  He wears a pale blue shirt with yellow sleeves that have white circles on them. The front of his shirt says Hullo, Friend in darker blue cursive lettering.  Ziggy is in virtually perfect condition and he retains his original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into his left hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by Applause in 1981.

ZIGGY snow dome -- rejoicing

  This is a 3.5" plastic snowdome showing Ziggy rejoicing.  He wears an orange shirt and is shown with both arms raised, head raised upward, and his right leg in the air.  The gold cursive-lettering caption on the chartreuse base says Happy Everything!  This item was manufactured by WWA in 1980.  It is free of damage and has minor surface wear from being handled over the years, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.  The water is filled with yellow and orange plastic stars/flowers that float down to the bottom as they settle.

ZIGGY "jolly holidays" doll

  Well, if this Ziggy isn't ready for a holiday blizzard, we don't know what one is!  This 8.5" Ziggy is stuffed and has a vinyl head.  He is wearing a soft red hunter's hat with a white pompon on the front of it, a white knit sweater with green stitching and "jolly holidays" lettering on front, green pants, green sneakers with red laces, and a green, white, and red striped muffler around his neck.  This doll was manufactured by American Greetings in 1991, although the original manufacturer's label was removed by Ziggy's (naughty) previous owner.  Ziggy is in EX condition, with a 3/4" opening in the seam along his left hip, where the original label was removed.  Anyone who can sew (which we are not very good at doing!) should be able to fix this without difficulty and restore Ziggy to like-new condition.

ZIGGY plastic trophy -- World's Greatest Cyclist

  This plastic trophy of Ziggy was manufactured by Aviva in 1980 as part of a much larger set of comic and character trophies it produced during the 1970s and 1980s. (We have a few of the other Ziggy Aviva trophies in stock at this time too.) This item is 5.25" tall and shows Ziggy smiling and wearing a yellow shirt. For some unknown reason, the gold metallic caption plate reads "world's greatest cyclist," which seems unusual since the Aviva trophies ordinarily had captions that related to the way the character was shown. This item is free of damage. It retains its original protective red velvet covering on the underside of the trophy's base and its original gold foil Aviva sticker on the back of the trophy. Ziggy has a scratch mark on his face and some paint wear along the black raised edges of his outline. Overall, this item is in EX+ condition.

  This is an 8.75" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-type filling inside of his hands and torso.  He wears a white ski cap with a red pompon, yellow-orange shorts, a yellow-orange shirt, and a red scarf.  The doll is in NM+ condition and it comes with its original manufacturer's label (in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's rear end) and its original cardboard hang tag (previously folded, but intact and undamaged, and affixed to Ziggy's left arm).  Ziggy's hang tag says The nicest thing about sharing at Christmas . . . is sharing with someone as nice as you! and it is signed inside of the hang tag as a 1985 gift.  The doll was manufactured by Applause in 1981.

ZIGGY mirror

  This is a 3.75" plastic mirror, lime green in color, with an image of Ziggy on its left side.  In his yellow shirt and hands clasped in front of him, this happy-looking Ziggy says Here's the fairest of them all! . . . implying that about the person looking into this mirror.  This item was manufactured in 1982, but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Ziggy is in virtually perfect condition.

ZIGGY red tuxedo doll

  This is the 1995 Ziggy doll manufactured by American Greetings, with a soft stuffed body, a vinyl head, and a plastic hat.  Ziggy's black top hat has a red ribbon band across it.  His suit is actually a tuxedo and it is more plum in color than bright red, and it has a soft almost velvety texture to it.  He wears a white shirt, black bowtie, and black shoes with white spats on them.  How natty!  Ziggy retains his original heart-shaped flowered cardboard hang tag, which is in perfect condition and sewn into his left hand.  This item is in mint condition.

ZIGGY ceramic egg -- happy holidays

  This is a 2.75" ceramic egg of Ziggy, who is shown wearing a Santa Claus outfit with a sprig of mistletoe on his cap, sitting happily on a large yellow star that says "happy holidays" on it in black writing.  This item was manufactured by WWA Inc. in 1980 as part of a larger series of Ziggy ceramic eggs.  (We have several of the others in stock at this time, too.)  This egg is in mint condition and comes with its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker on the underside of the egg.
