ZIGGY trophy -- grade A student

  This is a 4.5" plastic trophy showing Ziggy leaning against a large yellow "A" grade, waving hello with his left hand.  The black, block lettering on the metallic face plate on the front of the trophy's black rectangular base says Grade "A" Student.  This item was manufactured by Aviva in 1980.  It is in NM+ condition and still retains its original red felt protective covering on the underside of the base.

ZIGGY salt and pepper set

  This is a 2.75" ceramic salt and pepper set featuring a jubilant-looking Ziggy wearing an orange shirt.  With his arms raised above him, his yellow bubble caption says Everyone likes a good egg!  Both pieces are in mint condition and both retain their original stoppers underneath the eggs.  The copyright information does not indicate who made these items or when they were manufactured, but they are probably early 1980s pieces.

ZIGGY "love ya" doll

  This is a 7" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who is shown wearing a red-and-green striped cap with a red pompon, a matching scarf, a red shirt, and red shorts.  His shirt says Love Ya! in white lettering.  This doll is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1984.

ZIGGY purple graduation doll

  This is a 7.25" stuffed Ziggy doll showing him as a graduate.  He has a purple bodysuit, a maroon mortarboard, and a navy blue tassel.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  This item is in nearly perfect condition with just the slightest traces of use-related wear or soiling.  At worst, Ziggy is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY plastic trinket box -- rainbow

z0799200.jpg (25160 bytes)  This plastic trinket box of Ziggy is 1.75" tall, 3" from top to bottom, and nearly 5" wide. It features a happy Ziggy standing beneath a rainbow with his hands clasped together, smile on his face, red shirt on his body. Above him, the black caption reads, "Smile . . . God loves you." This item was manufactured by WWA Inc. in 1982. There are two spots of paint missing from Ziggy’s chin and nose and there is some wear on the original gold foil manufacturer’s sticker, which is affixed to the underside of the trinket box. Overall, this item is in NM- condition and is nice, bright, and colorful.

ZIGGY cloth and vinyl doll -- holding daisies

z0800027.JPG (18775 bytes)  This is an 8" soft stuffed doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a white ship's captain's cap, a lavender outfit with white stripes around the wrists, and a winged heart on the left sleeve.  In his bound-together hands, Ziggy holds a bouquet of plastic daisies.  He retains his original cardboard gift tag, which says "for Mom" on it, and his original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into his right hip.  This doll was made by American Greetings in 1994.   It is in mint condition.

ZIGGY snowdome -- name keeps coming up

  This is a 3.75" plastic snowdome showing Ziggy standing in a yellow shirt.  The blue oval base of the snowdome has gold cursive lettering saying Your name keeps coming up because, instead of "snow," this snowdome has multicolored letters of the alphabet inside.  Ziggy is in near mint condition, with light wear on the top of the dome being its main flaw.  The item retains its original gold foil copyright sticker and its original price sticker, showing that it originally sold for $3.50 at the Fifth Avenue Card Shop.  Ziggy was manufactured in 1980 by WWA.

ZIGGY birthday cake figurine

  This is a 4.25" ceramic figurine showing Ziggy sitting atop a slice of yellow birthday cake with chocolate icing.  He wears an orange shirt and a lime green birthday party hat, and is leaning against a tall white candle with an orange flame.  The brown, block lettering caption on the side of the cake slice says Birthdays are a piece of cake.  This item was manufactured by Enesco in 1989.  It is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY doll -- red tuxedo with heart

  This is an 8.5" soft stuffed doll of Ziggy with a vinyl head.  He wears a red satin tuxedo with a matching top hat.  He has a white bowtie with red hearts on it and underneath his right arm, there is a pale pink satin pillow that says I love you! on it in red script.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1987.  It is in NM- condition, with a few white spots on the front of Ziggy's top hat being the item's principal flaws.  This doll retains its original tag, which is in great shape and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.

ZIGGY doll-style Christmas ornament

  This unusual find is a 4" doll of Ziggy, stuffed cloth with a vinyl head, that doubles as a Christmas ornament.  It shows Ziggy wearing a red outfit and a red-and-green striped scarf and cap.  The front of his shirt says Hello 1989 in white lettering.  The item is in virtually perfect condition and it comes with its original box, which is also in nice shape.  This doll/ornament was manufactured in 1988 by American Greetings.

ZIGGY doll -- hello friend

  This is a 6.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-type filling inside of his torso.  He wears a red-and-green striped ski cap and a matching muffler, along with yellow-and-lime-green shirt and pants.  His shirt has red lettering, saying Hello, Friend!  This doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.

ZIGGY bell -- in LOVE wreath

  This is a 3.5" ceramic bell showing Ziggy contentedly sitting inside of a large Christmas wreath which, it so happens, to be doubling as the "O" in the word "LOVE" on the bell, part of the caption saying that Christmas is love.  This item was manufactured by WWA in 1979 and it is in mint condition.

ZIGGY PVC figure -- ice skating

  This cute item even comes with cute packaging!  It is a 2" PVC figure of Ziggy, who is dressed in a lime green ski cap, a red scarf, a green shirt, and blue ice skates with green straps.  He remains sealed inside of his original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on his original mounting card.  The mounting card has graphics made to resemble a snowy forest scene, with Ziggy skating the words Happy Holidays into the ice.  Very clever!  This item was manufactured by Applause for Knickerbocker in 1981 as part of a 12-item set, each of which is shown on the reverse side of the mounting card.  Ziggy himself is in mint, unused condition.  His mounting card has one surface tear on the reverse side, in the upper corner, and one on the front, near the upper right-hand corner of the forest scene.

ZIGGY figurine -- reading Bible

  This is a 4" ceramic figurine showing Ziggy sitting on a blue mound as he reads his purple Holy Bible.  He wears a red shirt.  The caption on the front of the mound says Having Trouble? Read the Instruction Manual!  This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the later 1980s or earlier 1990s.  It is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY Irish doll -- "I love o'you"

  This is another Irish-themed Ziggy doll. This particular one is 7.5" tall and was manufactured in 1990 by American Greetings. Ziggy is wearing a thin green plastic hat with a light green ribbon and gold buckle, a green shirt with green-and-white striped sleeves, green shorts, and a green shirt with a shamrock on it that says "I love o'you!" in white lettering. Ziggy’s hat brim has one slight bend in it, but it is undamaged. Ziggy’s body is stuffed and his head is made of soft vinyl. The original manufacturer’s label is present and is sewn securely into Ziggy’s right hip.  Overall, this item is in NM to NM+ condition.

ZIGGY ceramic votive candle holder

  This is a ceramic votive candle holder featuring a Santa Claus-clad Ziggy sitting atop and riding a bright yellow star that says "Happy holidays" on it in black lettering. This item is 2.75" tall and 2.25" in diameter. It was manufactured in 1980 by WWA Inc. The item has no damage and no paint wear anywhere on it. A very small amount (1/4" or so) of the original red votive candle remains inside of the candle holder, along with some vestiges of wax on the interior sides of the votive.

ZIGGY Santa Claus doll

  When measured from the top of his Santa cap’s pompon to the soles of his feet, this Ziggy doll is 10.5" tall. Ziggy has a soft vinyl head and a soft stuffed body. He is wearing a rich red Santa Claus suit that says "I love you!" in white lettering on the front. Ziggy has a red lipstick mark on his left cheek, undoubtedly from Mrs. Claus or one of his many adoring elves. This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1988. The original manufacturer’s label is present and in great shape, sewn securely into Ziggy’s right hip. This item is in nearly perfect condition, with a light smudge mark on Ziggy's nose being its only flaw.

ZIGGY "lookin' good" doll

  This Ziggy doll stands nearly 8" tall.  It has a firmly stuffed head, soft stuffed feet, and a beanbag-style filling to the torso.  Ziggy wears a yellowish-orange shirt that says You're lookin' good today! in yellow lettering.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice shape and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by American Greetings in 1981.

ZIGGY Class of '87 doll

  This is a 7.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears brown shorts and a brown shirt, and has a grey hooded sweatshirt over that. The front of the sweatshirt says Class of '87 in white-and-red block lettering.  This doll was manufactured by American Greetings in 1985 and it retains the original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  The doll is in virtually perfect condition.

ZIGGY ceramic bell -- sitting on star

z0299137.jpg (10238 bytes)  This is a 3.75" ceramic bell of Ziggy, who is shown wearing a Santa Claus outfit with a sprig of mistletoe on his cap.  He is sitting on a yellow star that says "happy holidays" on it in black lettering.  The handle of the bell is shaped like a pretzel and is intended to look like a red tied bow/ribbon.  This item was manufactured in 1980 by WWA Inc. as part of a larger set of ceramic Ziggy bells, a few others of which we also have in stock at this time.  This item is in NM+ condition and still has its original clapper inside of the bell.*

ZIGGY candle

  This is a 5.25" figural candle, showing Ziggy holding a daisy in his right hand.  He wears a dark red shirt and has a melting yellow candle on the top of his head, with the black-lettering caption reading Happy Birthday on it.  This item is in mint, unused condition and is still sealed inside of its original shrink wrap. There is a small hole in the underside of the shrink wrap, beneath Ziggy's feet, where his original copyright sticker was affixed to the outside of the cellophane.  Thus, the copyright information is missing.  In all likelihood, this item was manufactured by American Greetings sometime during the 1980s.

ZIGGY doll -- in Halloween bag

    This is a 7" soft stuffed Ziggy doll with a vinyl head.  Unlike most of the American Greetings Ziggy items of the 1980s and 1990s, this particular one features Ziggy popping up out of a Halloween trick-or-treat bag that says "boo I love you" on the front in white lettering, encircled by yellow stars, a large crescent moon, and several smiling jack-o-lanterns.  Ziggy himself is dressed in white, as if he were a ghost.  This item was made by American Greetings in 1991 and mint condition.  As you can see in the second image, we also have another of this item, also in wonderful condition, along with its original trick-or-treat bag.

ZIGGY doll -- my heart is yours

  This is a 7" soft stuffed doll of Ziggy.  He wears a red-and-white striped nightcap and red pajamas that have a heart saying My Heart Is Yours on it in red lettering.  This doll is in mint condition and it comes with its original hang tags.  It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1990, as evidenced by the original manufacturer's label that is sewn into Ziggy's right hip.

ZIGGY doll -- prisoner of love

  This is a 7" soft stuffed doll of Ziggy with a vinyl head.  He is shown as the happy Prisoner of Love, complete with a black-and-white striped jailhouse uniform, a matching hat, and a red heart on his chest with Prisoner of Love written on it in black lettering.  This clever item was made by American Greetings in 1993.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  This item is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY trophy -- bowler

  Gutter ball, here Ziggy comes!  This 4.25" plastic trophy shoes our hapless hero wearing an orange shirt as he loses his balance while trying to roll his black bowling ball.  The front of the metallic face plate says "high roller" in black block lettering.  This item was manufactured in 1980 by Aviva as part of a large collection of Ziggy trophies, each showing him in a different pose and with a different caption.  This one is in near mint condition.  The original manufacturer's foil sticker is intact on the back of the trophy's black base, and the red felt protective covering is in nice shape underneath the base.  The face plate has only slight wear, as does the raised image of Ziggy.

  This is a 5.5" white ceramic vase showing Ziggy wearing a red shirt as he happily waters his daisy with an orange watering can.  The black cursive caption above and below him says Take care of budding friendships.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1982.

ZIGGY doll -- I love thee Pilgrim

  This Ziggy Pilgrim doll is nearly 8" tall.  It has a soft stuffed body, a thin brown plastic hat with a dark brown band and a metallic buckle across it, and a vinyl head.   On Ziggy's chest, there is a red heart saying "I love thee" in white lettering.  He retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into his right hip.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1991 and it is in near mint condition, with a darkened mark on the left side of his nose and a small bend (not a break, just a bend) on the rear of his Pilgrim hat being the doll's only flaws.

ZIGGY trophy -- dieting

  During the 1970s and 1980s, Aviva manufactured many series of plastic trophies of cartoon and comic characters, usually showing them in some "typical" pose with an appropriate caption on their base.  This particular trophy shows Ziggy in an orange shirt, standing unhappily on a scale.  The caption on the gold metallic insert says "Dieting is a losing battle!!"  From top to bottom, this item is 5" tall.  It was manufactured in 1980.  The original protective red felt bottom is intact on the underside of the trophy's base.  There is some minor wear on the raised black edging that forms Ziggy's outline, but no other wear or damage on this item.   Overall, it is in near mint condition and is one of several Aviva Ziggy trophies that we have in stock at this time.

ZIGGY Santa Claus doll with candy cane

  This is one of the many cloth stuffed Ziggy dolls with vinyl head that American Greetings manufactured during the 1980s and 1990s.  This one is 7" tall and dates to 1985.   It features Ziggy as Santa Claus wearing a red outfit that says I love you! in white lettering on the front.  In his right hand, he holds a large stuffed candy cane.  This item is in mint condition and comes with its original manufacturer's label, which is intact but worn.

ZIGGY Frankenstein doll

  This unusual item is a 10" plush doll showing . . . Frankenziggy?!  Here, with bright green skin, a green bolt on the left side of his head, and a black zipper-mark scar on his right cheek, Ziggy appears as Frankenstein.  He wears a brown shirt and black shoes.  The doll is in mint condition and comes with its original cardboard hang tag, which is affixed to Ziggy's left hand.  It was manufactured by Kellytoy in 2003 as part of a Halloween-themed Ziggy doll set.

ZIGGY doll -- joy to you

  This item was manufactured in 1987 by American Greetings as part of its Ziggy Forget Me Not series. Here, Ziggy is shown wearing a red coat, red pants, green mittens, a green cap with red-and-white hearts, and a matching scarf. In his right arm, he holds a large cloth candy cane. Ziggy's body is covered with a felt-like fabric and is soft and stuffed; his face is made of a soft vinyl. This item is in nearly perfect condition but the previous (very naughty) owner neatly trimmed Ziggy's manufacturer's label from his left hip.

ZIGGY trophy -- you're the one

  This is a 5" plastic trophy showing Ziggy happily proclaiming You're the one!  He wears a yellow shirt and is shown with his hands clasped together, looking upward, as he stands beneath a large orange numeral "1".  This item is one of many that Aviva made in 1980.  It retains its original red felt protective covering on the underside of the black base and its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker on the back of the trophy base.  This item has no damage or paint wear and is as close to perfect condition as we've ever seen one of these items.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- with shamrock

  This is a 2.75" ceramic figurine showing Ziggy holding a green shamrock in his right hand.  He wears an orange-yellow shirt and smiles sweetly.  This item was manufactured in 1982 by American Greetings as part of a larger collection of small ceramic figurines.  Ziggy is undamaged and he retains his original gold foil manufacturer's sticker.  He has a few very small spots of paint loss on his shamrock, leaving the item in NM+ condition overall.

ZIGGY blue bunny doll

  This stuffed cloth Ziggy doll with the beanbag-style filling in the torso measures 8.75" from the tips of his feet to the tip of his left bunny ear.  He is shown wearing a head-to-toe blue bunny costume in celebration of Easter.  The doll is in NM+ condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag, which has colorful graphics showing Easter Bunny Ziggy inside of an Easter basket.  This doll was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.

  This Ziggy doll is nearly 8" tall.  It has a vinyl head and a stuffed cloth body.   Ziggy is shown wearing an orange baseball cap, with the brim off to the right side of his head.  He wears an orange jersey with blue-and-white striped sleeves.  On the front of the jersey, in blue letters outlined in white, it says "top pop."   This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1993.  It is in mint condition and retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into Ziggy's behind.  Ziggy also retains his original cardboard gift tag, which is affixed to his left hand.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- lipstick on nose

  Someone must have loved this Ziggy a lot (for a nice change of pace!), since she left her red lipstick mark on the tip of his nose.  Here, our hero stands with his eyes closed, grin on his face, nose high in the air, hands clasped together in front of him.  He was manufactured in 1982 by American Greetings as part of a larger collection of small-sized Ziggy ceramic figurines.  Ziggy retains his original gold foil manufacturer's sticker and he is free of damage.  He is in NM+ condition, with a few very small spots of minor paint loss on the orange paint of his shirt.

You're my someone special.  This item was manufactured in 1980 by Aviva as part of a large collection of Ziggy character trophies.  It is in near mint condition, with minor wear on the front of the metallic face plate on the trophy's black rectangular base being the item's principal flaw.  The original gold foil copyright sticker is present on the back of the base, as is the original red felt protective covering underneath it.

ZIGGY Class of '89 doll

  Time to play Pomp and Circumstance for our pal, Ziggy, here, since he graduated from school . . . more than 10 years ago now!  Here, he is shown in the form of a 7.5" stuffed doll with a vinyl head.  Ziggy is clad in a royal blue graduation outfit, complete with mortarboard, tassel, gown, and white pennant saying "way to go!" on it.  He is in nearly perfect condition and retains his original manufacturer's label.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1989 as part of its ongoing collection of dolls and collectibles.

ZIGGY trinket box -- New York

  This ceramic Ziggy trinket box is 2" tall and 3" square.  It shows Ziggy wearing a red shirt, smiling, with his arms outstretched widely.  In back of him, we see the New York City skyline and above him, the caption reads I just LOVE New York.  The "o" in "love" is a big red apple . . . as a not-so-subtle (but still very cute and clever) play on New York City's Big Apple nickname.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA Inc. in 1982

ZIGGY mirror -- handsomest father

  This is an 8x6" wood framed mirror showing Ziggy admiring his father.  The mirror's caption, which appears in black, block lettering inside of a mustard-colored banner along the top, says World's Handsomest Father and Ziggy himself appears in the lower right-hand corner saying Dad, you're looking good!  This item is copyrighted but it provides no indication as to who made the mirror or when it was manufactured.  In all likelihood, this is a 1980s piece.  With no damage and only slight surface wear, this item is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY doll -- Class of '90

  This is a 7.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a blue-and-yellow baseball cap on his head and a blue shirt with Class of '90 written on it in yellow lettering.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1989.  He retains his original manufacturer's label, which has some wear on it, but is still entirely legible and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  The doll is in nearly perfect condition.

  This is a 5" plastic trophy showing Ziggy watering a tall flower that kisses him in gratitude for the watering.  The black caption on the metallic face plate on the front of the trophy's black rectangular base says Every Good Day Begins with a Little Love.  This trophy is in NM+ condition and it retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker and its original red felt protective undercovering.  Ziggy was manufactured in 1980 by Aviva.

ZIGGY Irish doll

  American Greetings manufactured this 8" Ziggy doll with a stuffed cloth body and a vinyl head. Ziggy is wearing a thin green plastic hat that is decorated with a lighter green shamrock on the front and a rainbow-colored band. He is wearing a white shirt with green shamrocks all over it and white shorts. The front of his shirt has a green shamrock on it reading "Top o’ the morning to you!" in white lettering. The original manufacturer’s label is present and in great shape, sewn securely into Ziggy’s right hip. This item retains its original shamrock-shaped cardboard gift tag hang tag.  Overall, it is in NM+ condition.
