MARRIED WITH CHILDREN wristwatch
Well, here is something you just don't see every
day! It is an 8" vinyl wristwatch featuring the Bundys from Fox's
long-running situation comedy series Married with Children. The
watch has a white vinyl band and the face has an image of Peg Bundy and Al Bundy
together. The packaging shows Kelly and Peg sitting on Al's back, while
Bud makes a rabbit ears symbol over the top of Kelly's hair. This item is

watch battery needs to be replaced, but this is the item's only "flaw"
. . . such as the word "flaw" applies. The watch was

MARVIN ceramic figurine -- Christmas themed
This
ceramic figurine of Marvin was manufactured in 1983 by Enesco. It shows Marvin
wearing a green shirt, holding a candy cane in his right hand, with a red-and-white
Christmas ball dangling from his right toe, and his hair and body completely entwined in a
string of Christmas lights and ornaments. The figurine is nearly 4" tall and
says "Happy Holidays" on the bright green base. The original gold foil
Enesco sticker remains intact on the bottom of the base, and there is a remnant of some
other sticker (an original price sticker, perhaps?) on the underside as well. Other
than that residue, which probably would come off easily with warm soapy water, this item
is in mint condition.

MERLIN THE MAGICAL MOUSE (Warner Brothers) mini Goofy Gram
During
the early 1970s, R. Dakin Company released a series of Goofy Gram figures of the Looney
Tunes characters, with each character standing atop a faux-marble base with some clever
saying that was apropos for that character. Around that same time, the company
released a smaller number of mini Goofy Grams--similar in style but smaller in size when
compared to the Goofy Grams. These are MUCH harder to find nowadays, and this
nearly-7"-tall vinyl figure of Merlin the Magical Mouse is one of them. He is
shown wearing a white shirt, a black bowtie, and a maroon jacket. In his left hand,
he holds a blue wine glass and stands atop a white pedestal that says "I'll drink to
that!" in black lettering on the yellow paper decal. This item is free of
damage and has minor paint wear on Merlin's black top hat and on his nose. The decal
is intact but somewhat crinkled. Overall, this rare item is in EX+ condition.
We also have his Tweety counterpart in stock at this time, along with several of the
full-sized Goofy Gram figures. In the image on the right, you can see that
we also have one of these items in stock with its original box. The
mini-Goofy Gram figure itself is in NM+ condition; its box has considerable wear
and some corner tears, leaving it in VG- condition, although it is completely
intact.

MERLIN THE MAGICAL MOUSE (Warner Brothers) Christmas ornament
This is a hollow,
lightweight, blown-plastic Christmas ornament of Merlin the Magical Mouse.
He has a grey flocked body, blue eyelids (go figure!), a red vest with a white
button, and a red top hat. As you can see in the picture, the left eye has
come unglued from Merlin's head, even though the item is in mint condition and
has never been removed from its original package. This is typical of the
items in the set from which this item came, since most of them seem to have lost
eyes, clothing, or other body parts over the years due to drying-up of the glue
affixing the various parts to the other parts. Merlin stands 4" tall
and was made by Liberty Bell Christmas in 1978 as part of a large collection of
Looney Tunes characters. (We have several of the other items from this
collection in stock at this time, too.) The header card shows images of
Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales, Petunia Pig, Merlin the Magical Mouse, Yosemite Sam,
and the Warner Brothers shield. Originally, this item sold for $0.99 at
Rickel's hardware stores . . . based on the original price tag, which remains on
the top of the header card. As you can see from the image on the right, we
also have one of these items loose, without its original package. That
item is in near mint condition, with one spot of flocking missing from Merlin's
left foot.
