MICKEY MOUSE (Walt Disney) squeak toy
During
the later 1970s (1978 in this particular instance), Gabriel manufactured a few variations
of this particular Mickey Mouse item, each being a different size but showing Mickey in
ostensibly the same pose. This is one of the largest (if not THE largest) items in
the set, standing 7.5" tall. This is a vinyl squeak toy showing a pink-faced
Mickey Mouse in a "swearing in" pose. He is wearing a scarlet shirt with a
white button, white pants, and black shoes. When squeezed, this item gives off a
gentle squeaking sound. The vinyl has some very small and shallow indentations along
the top of Mickey's right ear, which may have resulted from a hungry infant gumming
him. The vinyl is NOT broken and these indentations are NOT visible except upon
close inspection of the item. There is some paint loss along the outer edge of
Mickey's left shirt sleeve and along the outer edge of his right shoe. The rest of
his paint is fine. Overall, this item is in EX- condition.

and the original stopper is missing. This item was manufactured in 1971 by
Play Pal Plastics as part of a larger collection of Walt Disney cartoon
character head banks. Mickey has several small spots of minor paint loss
scattered on his nose, ears, and head, as well as some faint crayon remnants on
the underside of the bank (visible only when it is turned upside-down).

inside of the box. The box is in FR+ to G- condition, with some flattening
and tearing along the flap seams. The surface graphics are nice and
colorful, as the picture shows, and are in nicer condition than the rest of the
box. These items were made by American Seal-Kap Corp. during the earlier
and middle 1960s. (They belonged to a friend of ours whose mother used
them to feed him apple juice when he was a little boy. He is age 44 now.)

MICKEY MOUSE (Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- Santa/chimney
This is a 4.25" bisque figurine of Mickey Mouse dressed
as Santa Claus. He is shown with a yellow toy sack slung over his right
shoulder as he climbs into a yellow, snow-capped chimney to deliver his

probably dates to the 1970s. There is no indication as to who made the
figurine anywhere on it. Mickey is undamaged and there is a small spot of
paint loss on one brick of the chimney (visible in the photograph accompanying

MICKEY MOUSE (Walt Disney) vinyl & cloth hand puppet
This
10" hand puppet of Mickey Mouse was manufactured during the 1970s by the Walt Disney
Distributing Company, primarily for sales through the Disneyland and Walt Disney World
amusement parks. Mickey has a vinyl head and a figural cloth body. The vinyl
is in great shape, with some minor paint wear along the upper rim of Mickey's left ear.
The cloth body is without damage, although it shows some signs of light soiling
from being handled over the years and has one small stain on the back. With a good
cleaning (with something like Woolite, perhaps?), this would probably clean up very
nicely. As is, this item is in EX+ condition; with a good, careful cleaning, it
would probably improve to NM- or NM condition overall.
COST = $23 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0698062

MICKEY MOUSE (Walt Disney) baseball bat
This is
a lightweight children's baseball bat featuring Mickey Mouse on it. The inside of
the bat is solid, probably made of a hollow plastic. It is covered with a thin layer
of a slightly spongy substance, and that is covered with a thin vinyl layer containing the
colorful graphics you see in the picture. The image on the bat shows Mickey Mouse
dressed as a baseball player who just hit a purple-and-red baseball with his bright red
bat. The bat's backdrop is yellow with red points, and the handle is purple with
blue swirls. From top to bottom, this item measures 21". Although the
manufacturer and year of manufacture are unknown, this item probably was made sometime
during the later 1980s or 1990s. The vinyl on the bottom of the handle of the bat is
gone; the same is true for the top portion. All graphics on the sides are completely
intact and without additional damage. Overall, this item is in Fair to Good
condition, due to the missing vinyl.

MICKEY MOUSE (Walt Disney) soft rubber bank
This unusual find
is a 7" soft rubber bank of Mickey Mouse, who is shown sitting with his
hands on his belly. He wears a red jumper and is shown looking upward and
toward his right. In virtually every way, this item appears and feels like
a squeak toy . . . except for the fact that there is an UNpunched coin slot
located on the back of Mickey's head. This item was manufactured by Walter
J Jamieson Inc. sometime during the 1960s. It is in virtually perfect

(and other cartoon studio) character soakies. Mickey is undamaged and has
just a few small specks of paint loss, leaving him in near mint condition.
COST = $15 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0102070
MICKEY MOUSE & MINNIE MOUSE (Walt Disney) acrobat celluloid / tin toy
This beautiful item
is a genuinely rare find! It is a 12" tin wind-up toy showing Mickey
Mouse and Minnie Mouse as acrobats. Each of them is made of celluloid and
the support mechanism and the trapeze part of the toy are made of metal.
When wound up, Mickey and Minnie rock back and forth and they twirl. The
acrobatic motion works very well on this item, particularly when the wind-up key
is given more than one or two winds. Condition-wise, several important
things should be noted about this toy. First, Mickey is in virtually
perfect condition, but one of his legs is loose. Second, Minnie's nose has
become a bit flattened toward the rest of her head over the years. Third,
the celluloid on the back of Minnie's head and on the top of her back has
separated along the original mold seams. None of it is missing, but it has
separated. We have shown these problems in the right-hand picture
accompanying this description. Fourth, amazingly, the original box that
this item came with has survived the years and is sold along with this
toy. It is brown in color with a glued-on paper decal showing a cartoon
image of Mickey and Minnie as acrobats on a nearly-identical toy to this
one. The box has some light water staining on the lid and a few tears on
the sides, along with crimping of the bottom edges. The decal on front,
though, is in very nice condition. This item dates to the 1930s and it
bears the rarely-found and highly-sought-after Walt E. Disney copyright marking.
COST = $450 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0605129
MICKEY MOUSE & MINNIE MOUSE (Walt Disney) Christmas ornament

is tied to his rear end. This item was manufactured in 1997 by Hallmark
and is entitled the New Pair of Skates ornament. It is in mint
condition and it comes with its original box.
COST = $14 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0203999
MICKEY MOUSE & MINNIE MOUSE (Walt Disney) composition figurescene
Best
known for its composition figurescenes of the Peanuts cartoon/comic characters, Determined
Productions also manufactured this one of Mickey and Minnie Mouse during the early 1970s.
The figure stands 5" tall and shows Minnie leaning slightly inward toward
Mickey, above a caption saying "You're swell." Mickey is shown holding a
few pink flowers, wearing his trademark red shorts, yellow gloves, and yellow boots/shoes.
Minnie is shown with a pink flower in her hair, a pink hat on her had, an olive
green skirt with white polka dots on it, yellow gloves, and yellow high-heeled clogs.
The green felt bottom is present on the underside of the figurescene, and it
contains all of the necessary copyright information. There is a single scratch on
the back of the blue base that is noticeable only upon close inspection of the item.
Other than that and a small spot of wear on the "You're swell" decal,
this item is in perfect condition.

red high-heeled shoes. They are both surrounded by a number of pink and
red hearts. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking

red shoes. Unlike most of these particular Mighty Mouse toys, this one stands up
perfectly straight. There is minor paint loss on Mighty Mouse's nose and left ear.
Otherwise, though, the paint is in great shape. Overall, this item is in NM-
condition and is one of the nicer examples of this particular item we've run across over
the years.

comes with his original cardboard hang tag, which bears a colorful image of a
muscle-making Mighty Mouse. The doll was manufactured in 1981 by Mighty

is in mint condition and appears never to have been used. It comes with
its original box, which has colorful graphics on it, particularly on back.
