DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) hard-stuffed doll

  This is a 6.25" hard-stuffed doll of Dino, who has glued-on facial features and glued-on black felt spots on his back.  The doll was manufactured sometime during the 1960s by Montgomery Ward as part of a larger collection of Flintstones character dolls.  Dino is complete, including his gold lame collar.  He has some type of spotting on his exterior (of unknown origin), and we do not know whether or not this would come out in a careful washing of the doll.  As is, Dino is in VG condition.

DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) squeak toy

  This is a 9.5" rubber squeak toy showing Dino in a "sit up and beg" pose.  He has black toenails, a white muzzle, and a blue collar with a white medallion bearing his name.  When squeezed, Dino gives off a hearty squeaking sound.  He is free of damage but has lost a fair amount of the white paint on his snout and some on the back of his dog collar.  Overall, Dino is in VG condition.  He was made in 1979 by Sanitoy along with a Fred Flintstone counterpart, which we also have in stock at this time.

DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) plush doll

  This is a 15.5" plush doll showing Dino sitting up on his haunches.  He is bright pink in color with a pale pink snout.  He has plastic eyes and glued-on black felt nostrils and eyebrows.  The doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's labels, which are also in nice condition and sewn securely into Dino's rear end.  He was made by Mighty Star in 1980.

DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) small doll

  This cloth doll of Dino is 4.25" tall.  It shows Dino sitting with his tail curled upward behind him while both legs are spread widely apart and both arms are raised in front of him.  Dino wears a red ribbon "collar" around his neck and has glued-on paper eyes.  He was manufactured by Strottman International in 1991.  This doll is in mint condition and it still retains its original manufacturer's label.

DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) board game

d0199139.jpg (76363 bytes)  This oldie but goodie is the 1961 Transogram board game titled Dino the Dinosaur Game or The Flintstones Present . . . Dino the Dinosaur Game.  It is 100% complete with its original instruction pamphlet (not pictured, but present and in nearly-perfect original condition), the cardboard-and-plastic spinner (again, not pictured but present and in nearly-perfect condition), four colored plastic game pawns, eight colored plastic ride "ticket" coins, game board, and the original box.  The game board is in mint condition and appears never to have been used.  The box is also complete and has a single corner split in the top left-hand seam.  It has colorful, attractive graphics of Dino holding Fred Flintstone's flivver in his mouth as Fred, Wilma, and Baby Puss ride in the flivver while, nearby, Betty and Barney Rubble sit inside the gondola of one car on a stone-age Ferris wheel.  This item is in near mint condition overall and is a beautiful example of a vintage-era Flintstones collectible.

DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) figural stand-up magnet

  This is one of six figural stand-up display magnets in the set (we've got the entire set in stock) featuring the Flintstones cartoon characters.  Here, we've got a blue Dino happily sitting in a begging position, licking his chops, as he eats a yellow bone.   The Dino figure has two black magnets on his feet, enabling him to stand vertically on a metal surface OR to stick out horizontally from a vertical metal surface.  This item was manufactured in 1976.  It is in mint condition, having never been removed from its original clear-plastic blisterpack or its original mounting card.  The mounting card has warped somewhat with age, but is otherwise undamaged.  The card measures 7" tall by 4.5" wide.  No manufacturer is listed, but the copyright information appears at the bottom of the card.

DINO (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) Knixies figure

  In 1962, the Knickerbocker Company manufactured a set of soft vinyl Hanna Barbera cartoon character figures known as Knixies.  We have several of them in stock at this time, including this one of Dino, who stands 6" tall.  He is bright orange in color and has white and black markings on his body, along with a white shirt collar and a black bowtie.  Dino's arms can be moved up and down and his head swivels.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.

DIXIE (Pixie & Dixie / Hanna Barbera) Knixies figure

  In 1962, the Knickerbocker Company manufactured a set of vinyl Hanna Barbera cartoon characters known as Knixies.  We have several of them in stock at this time, including this 6.25" one of Dixie.  Dixie's head swivels and his arms move up and down.  He wears a pink vest and a blue bowtie.  This item is in virtually perfect condition and is among the nicest examples of a Knixies figure that we have ever seen.

DIZZY DEVIL (Tiny Toon Adventures / Warner Brothers) rolling toy

  This is a 2.5" die-cast metal and plastic rolling toy showing Dizzy Devil as the engineer of a blue, purple, red, and yellow locomotive engine.  The toy is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original cardboard mounting card.  The mounting card has colorful graphics showing Babs and Buster Bunny inside of the Tiny Toons tunnel.  The header card has several creases in it, but it is intact.  Dizzy Devil was manufactured by Playskool in 1990 as part of a set of eight die-cast rolling toys, all of which are shown on the back of the card.

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure showing Dizzy Devil with his large pink tongue sticking out of the right side of his mouth.  He has swirled himself into a white dust cloud.  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Applause in 1991 as part of a larger collection of Tiny Toons character PVC figures.

  This is a 16" lightweight plush doll of Dizzy Devil, who is lavender in color with peach-colored facial accents and a long, red tongue.  He has glued-on plastic cross-eyes that are pink and green in color, and a spinning blue propeller on his yellow beanie.  The doll is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's labels.  Dizzy Devil was manufactured by Ace Novelty Company in 1990.

DIZZY DEVIL (Tiny Toon Adventures / Warner Brothers) wristwatch

  This is a 9.5" plastic/vinyl wristwatch with a black band and a figural image of Dizzy Devil covering the timepiece.  Dizzy is shown with a blue propeller atop his head and his tongue sticking out in a crazed, happy expression.  The watch is in mint, unused condition and it has never been removed from its original packaging.  The plastic has one small crack on the right side, but the watch itself and the graphics inside of the package are in perfect condition.  They show Buster and Babs Bunny inside of the Tiny Toons tunnel, and images of Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, and Dizzy Devil.  This item was manufactured by Nelsonic in 1990.

  This is an 8.5" stuffed cloth doll of Dizzy Devil, who is shown with his curved red tongue sticking out of his mouth.  He has one pink eye and one aqua eye.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into Dizzy Devil's left side.  The doll was manufactured by Ace Novelty Company in 1990.

  This cute item is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Dizzy Devil as a baseball player, standing on a green teardrop-shaped base, leaning back in preparation for batting.  His "bat" is actually a partly-eaten yellow turkey leg.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured in 1992 but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) large vinyl figure

  This is a large, heavy-duty vinyl figure (probably originally intended to be a squeak toy, although it no longer squeaks despite having no damage and no missing parts) of Doc, standing 8" tall.  He wears a yellow cap, blue bifocals resting on each of his cheeks, a red jacket with yellow buttons, a blue belt, green pants, and brown dwarf shoes.   He was manufactured during the 1960s or early 1970s as part of a complete Seven Dwarfs set, most of which we have in stock at this time.  Doc is free of damage and has only a few spots of minor paint wear.  He is bright and colorful, and in NM- condition.  He bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking, but there is no indication of who the maker was.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) pillow-style Christmas ornament

  This is a 5" stuffed cloth pillow-style Christmas ornament of Doc, originally made as a do-it-yourself home craft kit featuring each of the Seven Dwarfs.  The ornament has a bright green background and shows Doc leaning forward and toward his right, holding his yellow doctor's bag in his right hand.  He wears a red hat, a red jacket, a yellow belt with a blue buckle, yellow leggings, and pointy blue shoes.  There is no copyright information anywhere on this item, which we believe to date to the 1970s or 1980s.  It is in virtually perfect condition.

  This is a 3.5" resin figure showing Doc standing on a square parcel of floorboards, playing a bass that he has fashioned out of an animal (a turtle with a long neck, perhaps?).  He wears an olive green hat, blue glasses, a rust-colored jacket, tan pants, and pale olive green shoes.  Doc is in mint condition and he comes with his original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert.  He was manufactured in 2002 by Enesco as part of a complete collection of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs figures.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) Christmas ornament -- playing violin

  This is a 2.5" bisque Christmas ornament showing Doc walking along, playing a brown-and-tan violin.  The ornament is in mint condition and it even retains its original price sticker (showing that it used to cost $7.50 when first on the market).  Doc was manufactured by Schmid sometime during the later 1980s as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs ornaments.  He bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking and still retains his original gold lame hanging cord.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) toothbrush holder

  This beautiful, uncommon item is a 4.75x5.5" ceramic toothbrush holder showing Doc standing with his left hand raised to his mouth.  The blue incised lettering on the white portion of the holder says "Doc" says, Brush your teeth "Snow-White".  The top of the holder has holes for four toothbrushes, and the front area juts out far enough to hold a child-sized tube of toothpaste.  This item is in nearly perfect condition and appears never to have been used.  It was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1950s or 1960s, and it retains its original gold-and-red foil manufacturer's sticker.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) doll

  In 1967, Gund manufactured a not-very-commonly-found set of all seven of the Seven Dwarfs dolls, including this one of Doc.  Doc wears a tan felt hat, a red (not orange, as it appears in the picture) felt jacket, a black plastic belt with a white buckle, cream-colored long johns, and brown felt-covered feet.  His eyes and eyebrows are glued-on pieces of felt, and his beard is some type of soft white fluffy fabric.  His hands are made of soft plastic.  From top to bottom, this item measures a little more than 9" tall.  Doc retains his original manufacturer's tag, which is sewn into the side of his jacket.  He has a few dark spots on his nose (origin unknown), but no damage anywhere else on him.  Overall, this item is in very nice condition--EX+ overall.  Currently, we have the entire set of Seven Dwarfs in stock.  If you choose to purchase the entire set in a single transaction, we'll discount the set for you, to a price of $225.

  This is a 2" ceramic figurine of Doc, who is shown standing with both hands in front of him, looking upward.  He wears a brown hat, brown jacket, black belt with yellow buckle, brown pants, and tan shoes.  Doc bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the 1960s or 1970s, although there is no indication as to who made him.  He is undamaged and has just a few tiny specks of paint loss, leaving him in NM+ condition.

  This is a 2.75" resin Christmas ornament showing Doc bending forward "golfing" with a large candy cane "club" as a grey squirrel hugs the post for the hole and a chipmunk sits near the purple ball-style ornament "golf ball" watching.  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original box, which also retains its original clear-plastic protective insert.  The box has colorful graphics on it showing the Seven Dwarfs, along with a photographic image of this item.  Doc was manufactured by Enesco.  Bearing the Walt Disney Company copyright marking, this item dates to 1994.  Enesco named this ornament Just Fore Christmas.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) planter

  This is a 5.5" ceramic planter of Doc from Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  He is primarily white in color, with brownish-mustard-colored accents on his hat and eyebrows, plum-colored cheeks, brown pants, black shoes, and greenish-blue accents on his jacket.  He is shown holding a brown shovel in both hands, near his right foot.  This item is undamaged and has one small area of paint loss and crazing in the paint, on the shovel, just above Doc's right shoe.  The planter has been used before, and there is some residue of dirt inside of the planter itself; but this comes off with a napkin or sponge.  (We removed some of it with a gentle cleaning, and more will come off with additional cleaning that we chose not to do at this time.)  This leaves the item in EX to EX+ condition overall.  There is no indication of who made this item or when it was manufactured, although it probably dates to the 1950s.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- small size

  This is a 3.25" bisque figurine of Doc, who is shown standing with his left hand to his beard.  He wears a rust-colored pointy hat, a dark brown coat, a black belt with a rust-colored buckle, blue pants, and black shoes/boots.  Doc's name is incised on the front of his hat, just above his forehead, and Walt Disney is incised on the back of his coat.  This item was manufactured as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs bisque figurines sometime during the late 1930s or early 1940s, possibly by Borgfeldt.  It is undamaged and in near mint condition, with a few small spots of minor paint loss being Doc's only flaws.

  This is a 3.75" ceramic mug, white in color with a blue handle.  It has a raised-relief image of Doc, who is shown leaning forward and looking at his brown name plate, which is also provided in raised-relief on the mug.  This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1950s or 1960s along with a full set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs counterparts.  It is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) musical

  This is a 6.5" ceramic musical showing Doc standing on a flowery area atop a grassy patch, while a brown rabbit watches him from his right side.  When the white plastic base is wound up, the musical revolves and plays A Spoonful of Sugar, originally from Walt Disney's feature-length Mary Poppins.  Doc was manufactured by Schmid as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs musicals, sometime during the later 1960s or 1970s.  He is in nearly perfect condition and he works well.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) molded face doll

  This is a 13" firmly-stuffed cloth doll of Doc, who has a white plush beard.  He wears a mustard-colored pointy hat that bears his name, a tan jacket (that probably originally was blue in color but which seems to have faded over the years), a black leather belt, brown pants, and black shoes.  This doll was manufactured sometime during the late 1930s or early 1940s as part of a complete Snow White and Seven Dwarfs set, possibly by Knickerbocker.  Doc has a molded oil cloth-type face and matching hands.  Overall, he is in VG- condition.  His jacket appears to be faded.  His beard is quite dingy compared to its original appearance.  There are some crinkles in his belt's leather, and some surface spots of crackling appearance on his face and hands.  The doll is all original and in nice displayable condition, with the flaws noted above.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) vinyl squeak toy

  This is a 5.5" vinyl squeak toy of Doc, who gives off a pretty hearty squeaking sound when squeezed.  Doc is shown wearing a bright yellow cap, blue bifocals, red jacket with yellow buttons, grey belt with yellow belt buckle, green pants, and brown shoes.   This item was manufactured sometime during the 1970s and bears the Walt Disney Productions marking on the back.  Doc is missing some paint on his right shoe.   Otherwise, he is in great shape--NM- overall.

  This is a 4.25" plastic cup/mug featuring Doc.  He is shown in a disco pose (just how you ALWAYS think of him, huh?!) with his right hand resting by his side and his left hand and index finger raised.  Doc wears a red hat, red pants, a brown jacket with white buttons, and pointy brown shoes.  The cup is entirely lime green in color other than the Doc decal.  This item was manufactured in the early 1970s as part of a larger Snow White and Seven Dwarfs set of cups/mugs, and we have a few of the others in stock at this time too.  This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking but provides no indication of the manufacturer.  It is in NM+ condition.

DOC (Snow White / Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- large size

  This is a 5.25" bisque figurine of Doc, who was released during the later 1930s as part of a complete set of Snow White and Seven Dwarfs figurines.  His name is incised on the front of his rust-colored hat.  Doc also wears blue spectacles, a dark brown jacket with mustard-yellow buttons and belt buckle, blue pants, and brownish-black shoes.  This figurine is in NM- to NM condition, with a few very small spots of minor paint loss being its only flaw.  It is, without a doubt, one of the nicest examples of this particular item that we have seen in our travels.  Doc was released as part of the largest set of bisque figurines that the manufacturer released.  There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.

  This is a 4.5" ceramic figurine of Doc from Walt Disney's animated feature cartoon Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  He is shown wearing a mustard-colored hat with matching pointy shoes, a brown overcoat, a black belt, and dark blue pants.  He holds his left hand to his mouth, his right arm on his belly, and is shown looking upward, above his spectacles.  He was manufactured by Enesco during the 1950s or 1960s as part of a complete collection of Seven Dwarfs figurines.  (We have several of the others in stock at this time, too.)  Doc is in mint condition and retains his original manufacturer's foil name sticker on the top of his hat.  Underneath his feet, the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking is stamped.

DOCTOR DOLITTLE & POLYNESIA (Walt Disney) posable doll

  This is a 6" jointed bendable and posable doll of Doctor Dolittle and his trusty companion, Polynesia the parrot.  Dr. Dolittle is shown wearing a black top hat (made of vinyl and molded as part of his head), a black cloth jacket, a red vest, tan pants with a brown-and-green design on them (how 1960s can you get?!), and black boots.   Polynesia is fuzzy, almost feeling like pipe cleaner material, with orange plastic feet and plastic googly eyes.  This item is in mint condition and comes complete with its original display box, which has attractive graphics on the sides of Dr. Dolittle.   The box is in VG+ condition, with some edge wear, a small amount of light pencil writing on the back, and two small holes punched in the back (that do NOT go through to the jungle motif area where the Dr. Dolittle and Polynesia figures stand when displayed.   This item was manufactured by Mattel in 1967.

DOCTOR FINKLESTEIN (Nightmare Before Christmas / Walt Disney) cookie jar

  This is an 8.5" ceramic cookie jar of Doctor Finklestein, the evil wheelchair-bound scientist in Tim Burton's animated feature film The Nightmare Before Christmas.  The item shows the Doctor's head, putty-colored, with pink mouth accents and black sunglasses.  The cookie jar is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by Neca sometime during the past few years.

DOCTOR TEETH (Muppets / Muppet Show) vinyl figure

  This is a 3.75" hollow vinyl figure of Dr. Teeth from The Muppet Show's band.  He sits on a bright green cylindrical base and is shown with both hands resting on his belly.  Dr. Teeth wears a tall purple hat with a red band, a red vest, a blue-and-lavender striped shirt, blue-and-lavender striped pants, and red shoes.  The figure is undamaged and in EX condition, with a few small spots of paint loss being its main problem.  It was manufactured in 1977 along with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and Scooter counterparts.  The copyright information does not indicate who made this item.

DOGBERT (Dilbert) squeezable figure

  This is a 3x4.5" soft, squeezable foam rubber figure showing Dogbert sitting with his legs extended in front of him.  The figure is entirely off-white in color other than Dogbert's black bulbous nose and his black horned-rim glasses.  The copyright information on Dogbert's back does not indicate who made him or when he was manufactured, although this item probably dates to the earlier 2000s.  It originally sold along with a Dilbert counterpart.  This item has no damage or paint loss, and is in NM- condition overall.  Its only flaw is some light age-related yellowing, as evident in the photograph accompanying this description.

DOLLY (Family Circus) Christmas ornament

  This is a 3" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Dolly from the Family Circus comic strip happily sitting inside of and riding a red wagon. The ornament is in mint condition and it comes with its original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert. The box has nice black-and-white graphics featuring Popeye, Brutus, Olive Oyl, Betty Boop, Swee Pea, Blondie, Dagwood, and several characters from the Family Circus comic strip. The box has some wear but is intact and in nice condition. Dolly was manufactured in 2000 by Enesco.
