PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) cookie cutter

  This is a 5.25" red plastic cookie cutter showing Porky Pig standing and holding onto his jacket lapel with his left hand and waving with his raised right hand.  This item was manufactured in 1978 by Wilton as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character cookie cutters.  It is undamaged and in virtually perfect condition.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) hard-stuffed doll

  This is an 8" firmly-stuffed doll of Porky Pig, who is shown sitting with his arms and legs spread widely apart.  He wears a raspberry-colored felt baseball cap, a pink cloth bowtie with white polka dots on it, and a black jacket.  All of his facial features as well as his hoof markings are made of glued-on felt and he has a curly tail in back.  Porky was made by R. Dakin Company in 1975 along with a Bugs Bunny counterpart, which we also have in stock at this time.  He retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn securely into the back of his right thigh.  Porky has no damage or marks anywhere on him.  Parts of him are somewhat dingy and dusty in appearance, probably due to the accumulation of dust and light use-related soiling over the years.  Overall, though, he is in NM- condition.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) cookie jar

  This is a 10.5" ceramic cookie jar showing Porky Pig popping out of the front screen of a dark blue television set with silver "rabbit ears" on top of it.  Porky wears a scarlet bowtie and a blue jacket and is waving happily with his left hand.  This cookie jar is in mint condition and comes with its original box, which also has its original Styrofoam protective inserts.  The box is in nice shape, but does have some shelf wear.  Porky was manufactured in 1996 and was sold primarily at the now-defunct Warner Brothers Studio Stores.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) PVC figure -- exercising

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure showing Porky Pig swigging down some water from his red squeeze bottle after what appears to have been a tiring workout.  He wears a light blue headband, a light blue shirt, red pants, and light blue sneakers with white soles.  He has a white towel around his neck and is shown sitting with his legs spread apart.  Porky was manufactured in 1992 by Applause.  He is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) stained glass kit

  This is a 5" do-it-yourself home craft stained glass kit showing Porky Pig waving from inside of the infamous Looney Tunes cartoon tunnel.  The item is in mint, unused condition and remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original 11.25x7.75" cardboard mounting card.  The front of the mounting card shows several of the Looney Tunes characters inside of the cartoon tunnel, and the rear shows all 12 items comprising the set from which Porky came.  This item was manufactured by Road Champs in 1991.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) ceramic figurine

  This is a 4.25" ceramic figurine of Porky Pig, who is shown standing on a yellow base.  He holds a light blue and darker blue baseball cap in his raised right hand and wears a blue jacket and a red bowtie.  Porky was manufactured in 1975 along with Bugs Bunny, Tweety, and Sylvester counterparts.  The copyright information on the underside of the figurine does not indicate who the manufacturer was.  Porky has no damage on him.  Overall, he is in NM+ condition, with a few very small spots of paint wear on some of his raised edges.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) square metal bank

  This tough-to-find item is a 3.75" silver metal bank of Porky Pig, square in shape and about 1" thick.  On the front of the bank, there is an inlaid piece of plastic with a bright pink background, showing Porky Pig standing and holding his baseball cap in his raised left hand.  This item was manufactured by Dakin as part of a large set of Looney Tunes metal banks, and although undated, Porky was made sometime around 1970.  The back of the bank has a Kansas State Bank inset, so this particular one was probably a promotional giveaway by that particular bank at the time.  The coin slot is located on the top rim and a key is needed to open the bank from the back. This item no longer has the key, but is otherwise in nearly perfect condition.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) ceramic figurine -- chef

  This colorful item is a 4.5" ceramic figurine of Porky Pig, who is shown as a chef.  He wears a white chef's hat, a white bow tie, and a blue jacket, and is shown standing on a round grassy mound that is decorated with pink flowers.  In his left hand, he holds a green bowl of something brown, which he mixes with the yellow spoon in his right hand.  This item was manufactured in 1977 along with a Petunia Pig counterpart, but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Porky is undamaged and he has just a few tiny specks of paint loss, leaving him in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) carnival chalk figure

  This lovely, vintage item is a 7" heavy-duty carnival chalk figure of Porky Pig, who is shown standing on a square blue base.  He holds both hands behind his back, and he wears a yellowish-orange jacket with silver glitter on it.  This item is in NM+ condition--amazingly nice for its material and age.  Although undated, other items of this type that Hugh happens to have in his personal collection were marked with various dates in the 1940s by their original winners/owners.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) composition bank

  This is a 7" composition bank showing Porky Pig standing atop an oval base that is decorated with yellowish-orange grass and one white and one yellow flower.  He holds his red, white, and blue ballcap in the air, and also wears a red bowtie and a blue jacket.  The bank's coin slot is located on the back of Porky's head and the original stopper is present underneath the base.  This item was distributed in Marriott's Great America amusement park gift shops during the mid-1970s.  Porky is in EX condition, with his only flaw being a small cracked area adjacent to the coin slot.  His paint is almost flawless and the item has no other problems.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) talking plush doll

  This is a 10.5" plush doll of Porky Pig, who is shown sitting with his hands and feet together as he looks upward oh-so-sweetly.  Porky wears a shimmery mulberry-colored bowtie, a blue jacket, and a mulberry-and-blue baseball cap.  He has a pull ring underneath him that, when pulled, enables him to say things like We can have fun together and Th-th-th-that's all folks!  The talking mechanism is loud but works a bit on the fast side, but Porky can be understood, particularly if his string is held back slightly as he retracts.  The doll was manufactured by Mighty Star in 1987.  It is in mint condition and retains its original colorful cardboard hang tag as well.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) PVC figure -- Pilgrim

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Porky Pig dressed as a Pilgrim, complete with a brown hat with a yellow buckle and a black band, and a brown coat with white cuffs and collar.  He stands smiling and holding a blue platter holding an apple or pumpkin pie off toward his right side.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured in 1989 by Applause as part of a small set of Thanksgiving-related Looney Tunes character PVC figures.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) collector's Pepsi glass

  This is the Porky Pig collector's glass released by Pepsi in 1973 as part of a large series of Looney Tunes character glasses manufactured that year.  It is a thick (i.e., Brockway) style glass with black lettering.  All paint is perfect and fully glossy, and the glass is without damage.  We have a few other glasses in this series available for purchase, too.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) bisque bell

p0899059.jpg (10878 bytes)  In 1979, Price manufactured a set of 10 Looney Tunes bisque figurines and another set of 10 Looney Tunes bisque bells.  Both sets features the same 10 characters (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Wile E Coyote, Road Runner, Tweety, Sylvester, Porky Pig, and Petunia Pig) standing on a thatch of grass (figurine set) or sitting on a grassy area (bell set).  We have several items from both sets in stock, including this Porky Pig bell.  Porky wears a purple bowtie and a blue jacket, and is holding a blue and purple ballcap in his left hand.  He is holding his right hand behind his back and is sitting happily atop the off-white bell.  The bell is 4.25" tall and in mint condition.

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Porky Pig sitting with his legs spread wide apart as he eats an oversized submarine sandwich.  This item was manufactured by Tyco in 1994.  Porky is in NM+ condition.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) salt and pepper shakers -- blue and tan

  This is a 4.75" pair of ceramic salt and pepper shakers featuring Porky Pig.  Both are off-white in color with brown accents.  One shaker shows Porky wearing a pastel blue neckerchief and matching overalls. The other shows him wearing a pastel pink neckerchief and pastel tan overalls.  Both are in NM+ condition and neither one retains its original stopper, which probably was made of cork.  These items date to the 1950s and, in all likelihood, were manufactured by Leeds.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) cereal bowl

  This nifty find is an 8" tall by 1.75" deep pink plastic cereal (or soup) bowl of a very rotund Porky Pig.  He has googly flasher eyes that move as the item is shifted in any direction.  Porky's name appears in raised-relief lettering on top of his head.  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured sometime during the 1950s or 1960s by Eagle, along with a blue counterpart.

  This is a 3.25" PVC figure showing Porky Pig standing with both arms extended sideways and downward from his body.  He wears a blue jacket an a red bowtie.  This item has no damage and minor, light surface soiling that leaves him in NM+ condition.  Porky was manufactured in 1990 as part of a small Looney Tunes character PVC set, but his copyright information does not indicate who made him.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) vinyl squeak toy

  This is a 5.25" vinyl squeak toy of Porky Pig, originally manufactured by R. Dakin Company during the late 1960s as part of a larger set of Looney Tunes character squeak toys.   (This set included Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Tweety, and Speedy Gonzales, most of which we also have in stock at this time.)  Porky wears a neon pink baseball cap, a matching vest, a black jacket, and a white bowtie with blue polka dots on it.  When squeezed, he gives off a gentle squeaking sound.  This item is free of damage and has only the slightest trace of paint wear.  It is in NM+ condition--definitely one of the nicer examples of this particular item that we've seen over the years!

  This is a 4.5" pot metal bank showing Porky Pig standing atop a green rectangular base, beside a tall barrel.  He wears a red jacket and a blue bowtie, and holds his hands together behind his back.  The bank's metal trap is no longer present.  This item is undamaged and in EX- condition, with numerous small spots of paint loss scattered on it.  The back of the item is MUCH cleaner than the front is in terms of paint loss.  Porky was manufactured by Moss Metal Company during the mid-1940s along with Bugs Bunny, Beaky Buzzard, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and Sniffles counterparts.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) Christmas ornament – saluting drum major

  This is a 3" PVC Christmas ornament showing Porky Pig as a saluting drum major. He is clad in blue, with yellow accents on his tall hat and on his shoulders. This item is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured in 1989 by Arby’s as part of a small collection of Looney Tunes character Christmas ornaments.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) liquor decanter

  In 1975, the Italian company, Alpa, manufactured a large set of Warner Brothers cartoon character liquor decanters.  This 5" ceramic one of Porky Pig came from that set and originally contained Carosello.  The item is in mint condition and it retains all of its original alcoholic beverage importation stickers, its original cardboard hang tag, and best of all, its original box.  Although never used or opened, the alcohol has evaporated through the cork over the years and is no longer present.

  This is a 4.5x5.75" pot metal display holder (perhaps of pens, paper clips, or matchsticks) showing Porky Pig standing atop a green rectangular base bearing his name in raised-relief lettering.  He stands beside a washtub.  This item was manufactured by Moss Metal Company during the mid-1940s along with Bugs Bunny, Beaky Buzzard, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and Sniffles counterparts.  This item is undamaged and in EX condition, with scattered spots of paint loss on the front and back of the figure and washtub.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) jointed vinyl figure -- larger size

  During the mid-1990s, the Warner Brothers Studio Stores released two series of jointed vinyl figures of several Looney Tunes cartoon characters, including this 8.5" tall one of Porky Pig from the second series in 1995.  (We have a few others from this series in stock as well.)  Porky is shown with a big smile on his face, wearing a bright blue jacket, bright red bowtie, and white shirt.  This item comes with its original cardboard hang tag.  This item is in NM- condition, with a few tiny marks being its only flaws.  These might come off with a careful scrubbing, but they were resistant to our initial gentle attempt to remove them.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) Shaw / American Pottery figurine

  This wonderful item is a 5.5" ceramic figurine of Porky Pig, who is shown standing with his hands behind his back.  He wears a pastel blue jacket and a pastel orange bowtie.  This item is in nearly perfect condition and, best of all, it retains its original blue-and-silver foil sticker.  The sticker is divided into two pieces for some odd reason, but is otherwise intact.  Porky was manufactured by Shaw / American Pottery sometime during the 1940s as a part of a larger set of Warner Brothers cartoon character figurines and planters.

  This is a 5.75" cream-colored plastic drinking cup showing two identical images of Porky Pig.  He is shown holding his right arm behind his back as he waves with his left hand.  Porky wears a blue jacket, a large yellow bowtie, and yellow gloves.  The cup has black lettering and a black Pepsi logo between the two images of Porky.  This item was manufactured as part of a Pepsi Collector Series of Looney Tunes character drinking cups, and it is copyrighted 1966.  Overall, the cup is in EX- condition, with scattered paint loss (particularly on the Pepsi emblem), generally minor in nature, being its main flaw.

  This item is part of the 1987 Arby's Looney Tunes PVC giveaway figures set.  It is a 2.25" figurine of Porky Pig, who is shown standing atop a flesh-colored oval base, hands clasped behind his back.  Porky is wearing a bright blue jacket, light blue vest, and bright red bowtie.  There are some light surface scratches on the underside of the base, but no damage or paint wear anywhere on it.

PORKY PIG (Warner Brothers) hard vinyl chubby Dakin bank

  In 1976, the R. Dakin Company manufactured five Looney Tunes hard vinyl banks featuring characters in chubby versions. Included in this set were Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester, Bugs Bunny, and this one of Porky Pig.  Porky is shown wearing a red baseball cap, red bowtie, white gloves, and black jacket.  His head and raised arm both move slightly.  The bank has a stopper, but it probably is not the original one.  This item is 6.5" tall and in NM condition overall.  There is no damage on the item, just a number of very small marks.

PORKY PIG & BUGS BUNNY (Warner Brothers) talking toy

  This uncommon find is a 1949 talking metal (probably tin) toy of Porky Pig and Bugs Bunny, who are shown standing side-by-side.  Porky stands with his hands behind his back, looking in Bugs' direction while Bugs stands with a partly-eaten carrot in his right hand, below his chin, and an armful of carrots in his left arm.  The toy, which is 10.25" tall, has a red base with a crank handle that, when turned, is supposed to enable it to talk by playing a miniature record player that is inside of the base.  The original record and playing mechanisms are all present, but the toy no longer works due to warping of the record.  This item was manufactured in 1949 by the Talking Toy Company of America and it was sold alongside separate Porky and Bugs stand-up figures as well.  There is a 3/8" wear mark on the base in front of Bugs' feet, and some very small light surface marks on the litho here and there, but overall, the toy is in very nice displayable condition.  Other than its not working, the piece is in EX to EX+ condition.

PORKY PIG & PETUNIA PIG (Warner Brothers) pull toy

  This is a 7.5" wooden pull toy showing Porky Pig and Petunia Pig riding horses.  Porky rides his horse straddled, like a man; Petunia rides hers side-saddle, like women used to be taught to ride.  The toy is complete and all original, including the original bell on the side by Petunia, the red wheels, and the original pull string.  This item was manufactured by Brice during the later 1940s, and was sold along with other Looney Tunes character wooden pull toys.  Porky and Petunia are in Fair condition (C5 or so) overall, with crinkling on the paper litho and edge wear on the litho.  As the photograph accompanying this description shows, Petunia also has lost some of the paper on one side of her image, on the top of her head.  Even with this wear and litho loss, this remains a nice, colorful, vintage item.

PORKY PIG & SNIFFLES (Warner Brothers) glow picture

  This lovely, vintage item is a 10.75x8.75" framed picture showing Porky Pig rowing a small rowboat as Sniffles reaches into the water by the other end of the boat.  When this item is held up to a bright light and then placed in a darkened room, parts of the outline on the picture glow in the dark.  This item dates to the 1940s and, even after all these years, the glow-in-the-dark element still works!  The picture is undamaged and in no worse than near mint condition, and the frame is original.  There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.  When originally released, it was part of a larger set (we're aware of four others in the set) of Looney Tunes character glow pictures.

PORKY PINE (Pogo / Walt Kelly) vinyl figure

  This is a vinyl figure of Porky Pine from Walt Kelly's long-running comic strip Pogo.  Porky has a swiveling head and stands nearly 5" tall.  He wears an orange hunter's cap with black criss-crossed stripes on it and is shown angrily holding a black rifle with both hands.  This item is free of damage and is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured in 1969 as part of a six-item set of Pogo character collectibles and we have the entire set in stock at this time.

PORKY PINE (Pogo / Walt Kelly) cup/mug

  This is a 4.25" plastic up/mug of Pogo Possum's friend, Porky Pine.  The cup/mug is ivory colored and bears an image of Porky Pine holding his green hunter's hat in his raised right hand while he holds a black walking stick in his left hand.  This item was manufactured during the early 1970s as part of a set of Pogo character cups/mugs.  The copyright information does not indicate who made this item.  The cup/mug is undamaged and there is only slight wear on it, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.

PRACTICAL PIG (Walt Disney) hard plush doll

  This beautiful, rare item is an 11" firmly-stuffed plush doll of Practical Pig, who appeared in a few Walt Disney animated cartoons featuring the Three Pigs during the later 1930s and early 1940s.  He is shown with both arms curved forward as he looks downward and toward his right side, grinning.  Practical Pig wears purple shorts and blue-grey suspenders.  The doll was manufactured by Gund sometime during the 1940s or 1950s.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is generally in nice condition and sewn securely into Practical Pig's left side.  The doll is in no worse than EX+ condition, with minor surface wear being its only flaw.  It is quite nice, especially for such a difficult-to-find, vintage-era Disney piece.

PRAIRIE DAWN (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- doctor

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure of Prairie Dawn, who is dressed like a doctor.  She wears a white lab coat, a blue skirt, and white shoes.  She wears a stethoscope around her neck and holds a white-and-blue doctor's medical bag marked with a red cross on the side.  This figure is in near condition, with some dark marks on the underside of Prairie Dawn's white shoes being her only flaw.  It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.

PRAIRIE DAWN (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament

  This is a 2.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Prairie Dawn contentedly napping on a green arm chair.  She has a plate of cookies in her hands, waiting for Santa to come for them, while a small mouse clad in red looks up at her from her footstool.  This item was manufactured by Grolier in 1993 as part of a much larger Muppets / Sesame Street character Christmas ornament set.  Prairie Dawn is in mint condition and she retains her original gold lame hanging cord.

PRICKLES (Gumby) rubber figure -- larger size

  This is a 3.5" rubber figure of Prickles, who is shown standing with both arms extended in front.  The figure is entirely yellow in color with white spiky spines on the head, back and tail.  Prickles was manufactured in 1988, but the copyright information does not indicate who made this figure.  It is undamaged and has minor paint loss on the tips of a few of the spikes.  Overall, Prickles is in near mint condition.

PRINCE CHARMING (Cinderella / Walt Disney) jointed vinyl doll

  This is a 13.5" jointed vinyl doll of Prince Charming, who wears a tan jacket with gold brocade decorating it, bright red pants with mustard yellow trim down the sides, and black shoes.  He is 100% complete and all original.  This doll was manufactured in 1985 by Effanbee as part of a set that included both Cinderella and Poor Cinderella dolls.  Prince Charming is in virtually perfect condition.

PRINCE CHARMING (Snow White / Walt Disney) jointed vinyl figure

  This is a 12.5" jointed vinyl figure of Snow White's beau, Prince Charming.  He wears a purple hat, a purple tunic with white sleeves, a maroon cape, grey leggings, and black boots.  The doll is in mint condition and has never been removed from its original box, which is also in nice condition.  This item was manufactured sometime during the early 1990s by Bikin USA Corp. as part of a set that included Snow White and all of the Seven Dwarfs.  We have several of the Dwarfs and Snow White in stock at this time as well.  If you decide to purchase Prince Charming along with Snow White in a single transaction, we will discount the price for the pair to $35 for you.

PRINCE CHARMING (Cinderella / Walt Disney) ceramic figurine

  This relatively rare find is a 3.75" ceramic figurine showing Prince Charming kneeling on one knee as he presents a silver slipper in his outstretched right hand.  He wears a white jacket with straw-colored epaulettes and a matching belt, black shoes, and red pants with white stripes down the sides.  This figurine is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured sometime during the 1960s or 1970s along with a Cinderella counterpart, which we also happen to have in stock at this time.  There is no indication anywhere on Prince Charming as to who made him.

PRINCE CHARMING (Cinderella / Walt Disney) marionette

  This beautiful find is an 11.5" composition marionette of Prince Charming, who is in mint condition.  He wears a red jacket, a white shirt with a yellow waistcoat, light blue pants/shorts, and black shoes.  Prince Charming appears never to have been used and he comes with his original box, which has fun, colorful graphics on the sides and bottom.  The box has some edge wear but is in nice condition overall--EX to EX+.  Prince Charming was manufactured by Pelham Puppets sometime during the 1950s or 1960s along with a Cinderella counterpart, which we also happen to have in stock at this time.  If you decide to purchase both items in a single transaction, we will discount the price for the pair to $275 for you.

PRINCE VALIANT dime register bank

  This is a 2.5" metallic octagonal dime register bank featuring Prince Valiant, who is shown wielding a sword and shield while riding his horse.  The bank has a blue back, a yellow backdrop, and a red rim/edging.  It is undamaged and in VG+ condition overall, with edge wear being its principal detraction.  This item was manufactured in 1954 but there is no indication anywhere on the bank as to who made it.

PRINCESS FIONA (Shrek) doll

  This is a 16" stuffed cloth doll of Princess Fiona, from the Shrek animated films.  She stands wearing a two-tone green dress and a long brown braid around her hair.  The doll is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Nanco in 2004.

PRINCESS KNEESAA (Wicket the Ewok / Star Wars) bank

  This uncommon find is a 7" vinyl bank showing Wicket the Ewok's gal pal, Princess Kneesaa, wearing a brownish-beige cape and holding a cream-colored tambourine in front of her and off toward her right side.  The bank is in mint, unused condition and it comes with its original box.  The box has colorful graphics on the front, left side, and back, but has been damaged on the right side.  The cellophane window is present but torn in a few places, but as mentioned above, the bank itself is in perfect condition.  This item was manufactured by Adam Joseph Industries in 1983 along with a Wicket the Ewok counterpart.

PRINCESS LEIA (Star Wars) soaky

  This is a 9" vinyl soaky showing Princess Leia all decked out in white, hands clasped together in front of her waist.  She is in mint condition and remains sealed and cellophane shrink-wrapped, retaining all of her original bubble bath.  She also comes with her original cardboard hang tag.  This item was manufactured by Omni Cosmetics in 1981 along with several other Star Wars character soakies.

PRINCESS LEIA (Star Wars) figural bath soap

p0100026.jpg (23286 bytes)  This is a 3.75" tall by 2.5" wide figural bar of ivory-colored soap of Princess Leia.   This item was manufactured in 1981 by Omni Cosmetics Corporation along with soap bars of other major characters from the film, Star Wars.  (We have the Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker soap bars in stock at this time, too.)  This item is in nearly perfect condition and comes complete with its original box, which is also in very nice shape.  On back, there is a facial picture of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia along with a brief and VERY schlocky "bio" about her:  "Pretty Princess Leia.  Senator and princess on Alderaan, and now a dedicated leader of the Rebel effort.  Because she's courageous and fearless in her attempts to overthrow Imperial tyranny, she's powerful at helping you get rid of ugly dirt and grime.   Lather up with Leia and you'll feel just like a princess yourself!"  And gee . . . isn't THAT something to which you've aspired all of your life?!

PRINCESS SUMMER FALL WINTER SPRING (Howdy Doody) bath mitt

  This is an 8.5" terry cloth bath mitt featuring Princess Summer Fall Winter Spring from The Howdy Doody Show. She is shown from the waist upward, with both arms extended upward and outward from her sides. She wears a red shirt adorned with yellow and white accents. This item is undamaged and in EX+ condition, with minor age-related wear in evidence. This bath mitt was released as part of a set of such items featuring different characters from Howdy Doody. The item probably dates to the later 1950s or earlier 1960s, and there is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.

PROFESSOR (Felix the Cat) cat toy

  This is a 4.5" stuffed cloth cat toy featuring Felix the Cat's Professor.  He stands with an angry expression on his face, wearing his white lab coat.  This item is filled with catnip and originally was part of a set that also included Felix the Cat and Poindexter.  Professor is in mint condition, having never been removed from his original packaging.  The cardboard header card has colorful graphics including one picture of Felix's smiling face.  The header card has a small area where the previous owner carelessly removed the original price sticker.  Otherwise, it is intact.  This item was manufactured in 1997 by Ethical Products Inc.

PUNKY BREWSTER doll

  This is a 20" stuffed cloth doll of Punky Brewster, who has a vinyl head and vinyl hands.  True to form for the 1980s character played on television by Soleil Moon Frye, this doll wears mismatched sneakers (one blue and one orange), blue jeans, a turquoise sweater covered by a purple vest, a red shirt, and a red designed neckerchief.  The doll is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured in 1984 by Galoob, when the television show was at the peak of its popularity.

PURPLE PEOPLE EATER doll / figure

  This is truly a rare find! It is a hard-stuffed doll / figure of the Purple People Eater, made famous in the #1 Sheb Wooley song in 1958. The doll / figure is principally purple in color with a yellow felt horn on top of its head, two yellow wings by the sides of his head, one googly plastic eye surrounded by a red perimeter, a wide-open pink mouth baring a few white fangs, a grey felt nose, and grey shaggy felt feet with one white toenail on each. The Purple People Eater’s name sticker is present and intact below its lower lip. The original manufacturer’s sticker is also present on the underside of the figure, showing that it was manufactured by Christy Manufacturing in 1958. This item is in near mint condition. As the song says "Sure looks strange to me!"

PURPLE PIEMAN (Strawberry Shortcake) vinyl doll

  This is a 10" jointed vinyl doll of Strawberry Shortcake's enemy, the Purple Pieman, who comes with Berry Bird.  The Purple Pieman wears a poofy lavender chef's hat with a turquoise-and-black diamond band across it, a turquoise cloth shirt, a white cloth apron, and purple pants.  He has a large yellow plastic spoon attached to his hip.  This item is in mint condition and has never been removed from its original box.  The box is in nearly perfect condition, too, with no damage anywhere on it . . . just some indentations in the cardboard on the left side and on the rear.  This item was manufactured by Kenner in 1982 as part of a larger collection of Strawberry Shortcake character collectibles.
