B.C. pitcher

This rare item is a heavy-duty 7.75" frosted glass pitcher (with dimpled areas beneath the lower part of the handle . . . purposely made this way by the manufacturer) featuring characters from the long-running comic strip B.C.  The image on one side shows an aardvark slapping the ground with his trunk, so that an ant will pop out of the top of his nearby anthill.  The image on the other side of the pitcher shows the aardvark using his tongue to capture the ant in mid-air after it was propelled out of the anthill.  There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it or when it was manufactured, although our best guess is that it is a 1970s or 1980s piece.  The pitcher is undamaged and has only minor evidence of use, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.  The black graphics are in virtually perfect condition.
