BATMAN (DC Comics / superhero) inflatable doll
This
vinyl doll of Batman is inflatable through an air tube in the middle of his back.
When fully inflated, this item stands nearly two feet tall. Batman is shown with his
arms raised above his head, wearing a silver Batsuit, blue cowl, blue gloves, blue boots,
yellow utility belt, and a yellow-and-black Bat-emblem on his chest. This item was
manufactured in Japan, but there is no indication who made it or when it was made.
In all likelihood, this is a 1970s item. It has only slight traces of paint wear and
a few tiny marks on it. Batman holds his air pretty well, although he does seem to
have a very slow leak somewhere that we have not been able to locate. Overall, he is
in EX+ condition.

This is a 10"
vinyl soaky of Batman. The soaky is mostly bright purple in color with
flesh-colored facial features, a yellow utility belt, a yellow Bat-logo on the
chest, and light blue bodysuit. The soaky is undamaged and it has minimal
paint wear, mostly in the form of tiny specks on Batman's face, chest, and right
bicep, and a streak over the top of the Bat-logo. By far, this is one of
the nicest examples of the Batman soaky that we have ever seen, probably
meriting a condition grading of NM- to NM condition. It was manufactured
by Colgate-Palmolive along with a Robin counterpart in 1966.
COST = $65 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 1007010

from being moved around over the years. The mounting card is also free of
damage, although it shows some signs of wear and a small superficial area above
the "e" in "puzzle" where glue residue remains from the
original price sticker. This item was manufactured by American Publishing
Corp. in 1977 along with a Superman counterpart.

BATMAN (DC Comics / superhero) print putty
This nifty,
vintage-era Batman item is also a rare find. It is a print putty set,
similar to Silly Putty, designed to be placed on top of a comic book or
newspaper, pressed into place, and then removed . . . with some of the image
onto which it was pressed coming off on the print putty itself. This item
is in mint, unused condition and it is still sealed inside of its original
clear-plastic blisterpack and still mounted on its original 7.25" cardboard
mounting card. The mounting card is shaped like Batman and his cape, and
the cover of the "magic print paper" has colorful graphics of Robin
and Batman running along a dock together, with Gotham City behind them.
This item was manufactured in 1966 by Colorforms. The mounting card has
some wear along the pointy lower parts made to resemble Batman's cape and one
crease in the middle of Batman's face, as shown in our photographs.
Otherwise, this item is virtually perfect--about as nice as you could ever
expect or hope for, especially for such an old item of this type!

BATMAN (DC Comics / superhero) trace-a-graph
This nifty toy is a
plastic Batman Trace-a-Graph set, made of red plastic with a white lightable
tracing surface. The toy is 4.75" tall and 16.5" long. The
idea behind it is that pictures are placed beneath the white surface, a piece of
tracing paper is placed on top of it, and then the Trace-a-Graph is plugged
in. This lights up the screen and enables the user to trace the
picture. This set comes with its original eraser, its original pencil
sharpener, and four of its original colored tracing pencils (all of which have
been partially used). The only things missing are the drawing papers and
the tracing portfolio. Best of all, this item comes with its original box,
which has colorful graphics showing Batman and Robin breaking through a brick
wall while a child uses his own Batman Trace-a-Graph toy to make pictures.
The box has considerable edge wear, but is intact and in VG condition. It
even retains the original price stamp from the store in which is was purchased
originally, showing that it once cost a mere $3.99! The item itself is in
nice condition, with some play-related wear, leaving it in EX condition.

BATMAN (DC Comics / superhero) suction cup doll

13.5" stuffed cloth doll of Batman, who has a vinyl head. The doll
has a flat-type appearance and was made that way. Batman's outfit is
mostly grey with blue trim, a blue cape, a yellow belt, and black undies.
Suction cups are attached to both of his palms, enabling this item to be affixed
to any hard, smooth surface. The manufacturer's label that is sewn into
Batman's rear does not indicate who made him or when he was manufactured.
Our best guess is that this is a 1960s or a 1970s piece. Batman is

COST = $24 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 1108072
BATMAN (DC Comics / superhero) soft rubber hanging toy
This soft,
floppy rubber figure of Batman is in gorgeous condition, and is VERY difficult to find
with his original cardboard hangtag . . . which this particular item has. Batman
was manufactured by Ben Cooper in 1973. He is about 7.5" from toe tip to
fingertip and about 6.5" from edge to edge of his cape, at its widest point.
Batman has some extremely small spots of minor paint wear and one black smudge of paint on
the inside bottom portion of the blue cape, apparently put there when the item was
manufactured. Otherwise, he's perfect--overall, NM+ condition. All of his
fingers are present and fully intact, which is also rare for this item, due to the
delicate nature of these parts on the item. Batman has an embedded elastic band
attached to the middle of his back (the other end is the cardboard hangtag), which is
intended to be used to suspend him from something and enable him to "fly" or
bounce around.
