This is a 5"
lightweight blown resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird sitting inside of
his nest, which is decorated with a large red bow and a few sprigs of
holly. He holds a book--perhaps a Christmas caroling book--in his
lap. This item is in NM+ condition. Its copyright information
provides no indication of the manufacturer or the year it was made, although Big
Bird probably dates to the 1990s.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) camera musical toy
This is a 6"
plastic wind-up musical showing Big Bird sitting and waving with his left
hand. When the camera's white "lens" knob is wound up, the
images above him rotate, showing Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Betty Lou,
Cookie Monster, Bert, and Big Bird. While that happens (and that mechanism
works just fine), the musical plays the song In the Neighborhood (and the
music plays just fine, too). This item was manufactured by Illco sometime
during the 1980s. It is in NM+ condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament -- looking in toy sack
Here, we are
offering a 3.25" ceramic Christmas ornament of Big Bird, who is wearing a
Santa Claus outfit. He is shown in a seated position with his legs
extended in front of him as he peers at the wrapped gifts inside of the tan toy
sack that he has between his legs. This item is in mint condition and,
best of all, it comes with its original clear plastic display/storage box.
It was manufactured by Newcor sometime during the 1980s or 1990s as part of a
larger collection of Muppets character ornaments.

This is a 3"
flat-backed raised-relief resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird holding a
green gift with a glittery red bow in it. He wears a Santa Claus hat and
is shown peeking out from behind the package he holds. This item was
manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2002. It is in mint condition and comes with
its original hanging cord and manufacturer's copyright label.

This is a 6"
heavy-duty ceramic bank showing Big Bird as the engineer of a locomotive.
He wears a white train engineer's hat with blue stripes on it and is shown
looking off toward his right side. The locomotive is dark blue in color
with a raspberry-colored smokestack, a lighter blue front, and turquoise wheels
with yellow hubcaps. The bank's coin slot is located on top of the
smokestack and the original black generic rubber stopper is present underneath
the bank. The copyright information does not indicate who made this item,
which probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s. It is free of damage and has a
few small spots of paint loss. Overall, this item is in near mint
condition.

This unusual find
is a 9" figural rattle showing Big Bird holding a large orange bag of bird
seed in his hands and beak. When shaken, this item gives off a quiet
whooshing sound, almost as if it had sand rather than plastic beads inside of
it. The item is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by Gabriel in
1978.

This is a

This is a 5.5"
bisque musical showing Big Bird taking a bubble bath in a grey washtub.
The washtub sits on a grassy mound and Big Bird holds a blue back brush over his
right shoulder. This item is in NM+ condition. When the metal knob
underneath the base is wound, the musical plays Row, Row, Row Your Boat.
The musical mechanism works just fine. The remnants of the original
copyright sticker are present underneath the base, but not enough of it remains
to tell us who made this item or when it was manufactured. In all
likelihood, this is a 1980s item.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Styrofoam marionette
This nifty find is
a genuinely rare item! It is a Styrofoam make-it-yourself marionette of
Big Bird. The kit comes with all of its original pieces, including Big
Bird's head, neck ball, body ball, chin ruffle, neck ruffle, wing feathers,
feet, legs, and controller. Best of all, Big Bird comes with his original
instruction booklet and his original box. The box has colorful graphics
showing a young boy and a young girl enjoying their own Big Bird
marionette. The item itself is in mint, unused condition. The box
has some creasing and edge wear, but is complete, intact, and in generally nice
condition. This item was manufactured by Friends Industries Inc. in 1977.

This is a 5"
plastic rolling toy showing Big Bird driving a white convertible (?!) police car
with blue fenders and black tires with yellow hubcaps. This toy was
manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1990s. When placed on a hard,
smooth surface, the rolling action works just fine. Big Bird is undamaged
and he has very little wear, leaving him in NM+ condition.

This is a
3.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird as a mailman, complete with a blue hat

the 1980s.

This is a
14.5" felt-like polyester Christmas stocking, white in color with a red
top, showing Big Bird dressed as Santa Claus. He sits in his
Christmas-adorned tan bird's nest and holds a caroling book in his right hand as
he sings. Above him, there is a red banner saying Merry Christmas
in yellow lettering. This item is in near mint condition, with one faint
light pink mark on the back, near the green border. There is no indication
anywhere on this copyrighted item as to who made it or when it was manufactured,
but our best guess is that this is a 1990s piece.

This is a 3.5"
PVC figure showing Big Bird as a vaudeville showman. He holds a white cane
in his raised right hand, a red bowtie attached to a shirtless white collar, and
a white hat with a red band across it. His right leg is elevated slightly
and his left arm is raised too. Big Bird is free of damage and he has
three spots of paint missing--one on his right toe, one on his left toe, and one
on his bowtie. Overall, he is in EX+ to NM- condition. He was
manufactured by Tara Toy, probably during the 1980s or 1990s.

This is a 4.5"
resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird clad in winter gear as he does his
Christmas shopping. He wears a blue cap, a blue muffler with green ends, a
Santa Claus jacket, and blue boots with pink polka dots. In his left hand,
he holds a shopping list; on his right arm, he holds an overflowing silver
shopping basket. This ornament is in mint condition and it comes with its
original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert. Big Bird
was manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2006.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) treasure chest bank
This is a 4.5"
tall by 5.75" long heavy-duty ceramic bank showing Big Bird sitting on the
floor, peeking into his overstuffed, overflowing white-and-blue toy chest.
Poking out of the toy chest are a teddy bear, a pink telephone, an alphabet
block, and some other parts. The bank's coin slot is located on the back
upper portion of the toy chest and the original black rubber stopper is present
beneath it. This item is in NM to NM+ condition, with no damage and just a
few small marks on it. It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the
1980s or earlier 1990s, and the original copyright sticker is present underneath
the treasure chest.

This is a
15.5" plush doll showing Big Bird with both arms/wings extended from his
body and with his beak opened wide. This doll was manufactured by
Playskool in 1996. It retains its original manufacturer's label, which
shows a fair amount of wear, but is still mostly legible and sewn securely into
Big Bird's right thigh. The doll is soft and undamaged, showing only minor
signs of wear. Overall, Big Bird is in NM to NM+ condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) radio
This is a 5" plastic AM
radio of Big Bird, who is shown from the top of his feathered head to the bottom
of his large red bowtie with the white stripes. There is an on/off/volume
knob and a tuning knob on the side of the radio, not far above Big Bird's
beak. This item retains its original carrying strap AND its original belt
clip AND its original box AND its original instruction sheet. The radio
itself is in fine working condition and is in nearly perfect condition.
The box has minor shelf wear, but is undamaged and in nice shape overall.
This item was manufactured by Radio Shack in 1990.

with sky blue wheels. The toy was manufactured in 1983 by Hasbro. It
is undamaged but has a number of dings in the green paint (not in the item
itself, mind you, just the paint). Overall, this toy is in VG+
condition. When placed on a hard, smooth surface, it is able to roll along
just fine.

This is a 4" PVC figure showing Big Bird preparing for
bedtime. He wears a floppy red nightcap and red pajamas. In his left
hand, he is holding an orange teddy bear. In his extended right hand, he
holds a white plate with cookies and a yellow cup apparently filled with
cocoa. This item was manufactured by Applause, probably during the 1980s
or earlier 1990s. It is undamaged and has very little wear, leaving Big
Bird in NM+ condition.

This is a 2.5"
tall by 3.75" diameter ceramic trinket box featuring a raised-relief image

sailor's uniform, and appearing against a pale grey double anchor
backdrop. The item is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by

This
is a fun and cute item! It is a plastic rolling toy of Big Bird, sitting contentedly
in his nest with a much smaller bird friend in front of him. When the toy is rolled
across the floor, the front bird moves back and forth. This item is 8" tall and
was manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1980s. It is completely undamaged and
has no signs of paint wear either. The wheels spin perfectly, enabling Big Bird and
friend to scoot right across the floor for you!

In 1997, Tyco
Preschool released a set of 24 Sesame Street / Muppets character beanbag
dolls. This 10" doll of Big Bird comes from that set. It shows
Big Bird with his arms/wings raised, with a nonplused expression on his
face. The doll is in mint condition and it comes with its original
cardboard hang tag.

This 3.25" PVC figure shows Big Bird sitting inside of
his bird nest, holding an orange teddy bear with his left hand and reading a red
book, which he holds with his right hand. On his head, there is a floppy
blue cap, making it look as if Big Bird is reading before bedtime. This
item was manufactured by Applause, either during the 1980s or 1990s. It is
undamaged and its only evidence of wear is on the underside of the bird's nest,
where it comes into contact with the surface on which it sits. Overall,
this item is in NM+ condition.

This is a
10" hard vinyl bank of Big Bird. Big Bird is shown sitting inside his bird nest
holding a bright orange bag of bird seed. The bank's coin slot is inside the top of
the bird seed bag; the original stopper is no longer present. The year and
manufacturer of this licensed product are unknown, although it was probably made during
the 1980s. Big Bird has minor paint wear and would probably grade as EX+ condition
given that and the absence of the stopper.

This is a
2.75" die-cast metal rolling toy showing Big Bird driving a lime green dump
truck with a yellow frame and blue plastic wheels. The load holder is made
of orange plastic and is labeled with the name of the business "Big Bird
Builders," and this part does pivot up/down. The toy works fine and
rolls along well on any smooth, hard surface. Big Bird was manufactured by
Playskool in 1982. This toy is undamaged but there are several very small
spots of paint loss resulting from the toy having been played with over the
years. Overall, it is in NM- condition.

This is a package
containing 8 paper-and-plastic birthday party blowouts featuring Big Bird.
Each one is 3" long and when the plastic tube is blown into, the streamer
will extend while the horn toots. This item is in mint, unused condition
and it remains sealed inside of its original packaging. The header card
shows Ernie and Big Bird both wearing birthday party hats. The item was
manufactured in 1990 by Party Makers Beach Products.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) bisque rollerskating figurine
This
is a 4.25" heavy-duty bisque figurine of Big Bird, who is shown with his wings/arms
outstretched as he glides along on his blue and green rollerskates. In real life,
this item is colored more brightly than it appears in the picture, which got washed out
somewhat during the scanning process for some unknown reason. The copyright
information on the underside of the rollerskates does not indicate the manufacturer or
year of production of this item. In all likelihood, this Big Bird is a 1980s or a
1990s era item. It is in mint condition and is one of several Sesame Street
character bisque figurines that we have in stock at this time.

This is a 6.25" stuffed terry cloth doll showing Big
Bird seated with a light blue bag of bird seed in his lap. This doll also
has a rattling feature that enables it to make a child's rattle's sound when it
is shaken. Big Bird was manufactured by CBS Toys in conjunction with Child
Guidance, and he probably dates to the later 1980s or 1990s. He is
undamaged and has very little evidence of use, leaving him in NM+ condition.

This is a
3.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird holding a red, white, and blue boom box

baseball cap sideways on his head and he wears a blue jacket with red
trim. Atop the boom box, his bird friend, Smedley, sits. This item
is in NM to NM+ condition, with no damage and a few tiny spots of paint loss on
Big Bird's jacket and feet being the item's only flaws. The figure
probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s and the copyright information does not
indicate who made it.

This is a 3"
PVC figure showing Big Bird leaning toward his right side as he holds gold
cymbals in both hands. This item was intended for use as a birthday cake

cake toppers. It was manufactured by Bakery Crafts sometime during the
1990s and is in mint condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) composition figurine
In 1976, Gorham
released a large set of really pretty Sesame Street / Muppets composition figurines.
We have many of them in stock, and this one happens to be the Big Bird figurine in this
set. Big Bird stands 7.75" tall and is shown standing beside a tree
stump. He's in mint condition and comes complete with his attractive original box
(including all original packaging materials, even), which is in EX+ condition. Big
Bird also retains his original blue and silver foil Gorham sticker, on the bottom of his
foot. As you can see from the image on the right, we also have another of
this item, without its original box. This Big Bird figure is in virtually
perfect condition and it retains its original blue-and-silver foil copyright
sticker.

is. When squeezed, this item gives off a gentle squeaking sound. It
was manufactured by Tommee Tippee along with a few other Sesame Street character
squeak toys, and it probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s. Big Bird is
undamaged but he does have some paint loss on his eyeballs and a little bit on
his feet and phone receiver, leaving him in NM- condition overall.

is in mint condition. The copyright information does not indicate who
manufactured this item or when it was made, but it is probably a 1980s or

Tippee sometime during the 1980s or earlier 1990s, originally as part of a
larger collection of Sesame Street character squeak toys showing the characters
with different types of fruit. This one is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) musical plush doll
This nifty item is
a 12" musical plush doll of Big Bird. He is dressed as a drum major,
complete with a red-and-blue hat with Musical Big Bird written on it in
yellow lettering, a blue chin strap for the hat, and a blue jacket with red
designs on it. There is a metal turn-knob on the back of this doll.
When Big Bird is wound up, he plays Pop Goes the Weasel. The music
works well. The original manufacturer's label is missing, so we do not
know who made this item, which probably dates to the 1970s or earlier
1980s. Big Bird is in virtually perfect condition and he works great.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) vinyl bank, with piggy bank
Much brighter in
person than in the picture, this item is an 8.5" hard vinyl bank of Big Bird holding
his bright pink chubby piggy bank. Big Bird is bright yellow and has bright orange
legs and bright raspberry-colored bands around them. The item was manufactured by
Applause, probably during the 1980s or 1990s. It is in NM+ condition, with just a
few tiny spots of dirt here and there. The original stopper is in place on the
bottom of the bank.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) rolling toy -- popcorn wagon
This is a 2.5"
tall by 2.75" long die-cast metal rolling toy showing Big Bird driving a
popcorn truck. The truck is white with diagonal red stripes, a red cap on
the popcorn area, and blue plastic wheels. This toy works just fine and
rolls along any hard, smooth surface easily. Big Bird was manufactured in
1983 by Playskool. He is free of damage but there are a number of small
spots of minor paint loss scattered about the item. Overall, this toy is
in NM- condition.

This is a 3.5"
PVC figure showing Big Bird wearing a red sweatband on his head, holding a green
tennis ball in his raised left hand (if birds have hands, that is!) and a black
tennis racket in his raised right hand. This item was manufactured by Tara
Toy, probably during the 1980s. It is free of damage and has only slight
paint wear, leaving it in NM+ condition.

This is a 5"
jointed PVC figure of Big Bird, who has a swiveling head, swiveling torso, and
movable arms. He was manufactured by Tara Toy in 1985. Big Bird is

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament -- in toboggan
This is a
heavy-duty resin Christmas ornament of Big Bird, who is shown sitting inside of
a green toboggan as he holds onto the sides of it. His big orange feet
stick out in front of him and his red scarf blows in the breeze behind
him. This item is 2.75" tall and is in mint condition, still sealed
inside of its original bag and its original cardboard header card. This
item was manufactured as part of a larger set of Sesame Street / Muppets
character Christmas ornaments by Kurt S Adler, and we have a few of the others
in stock at this time as well. Although the copyright information does not
indicate the year of manufacture for this item, it is a 1990s piece.

hollow plastic figure of Big Bird, who is shown standing with both hands/wings
resting on his belly. This item was manufactured in 1985 by CBS Inc.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) hand puppet
This is a 12"
plush hand puppet of Big Bird, who is shown from the midriff upward. He
has bulbous plastic eyes and yellow felt hands, along with yellow yarn hairs on
top of his head and yellow yarn hairs for tail feathers. This hand puppet
was manufactured by Child Guidance in 1980. It retains its original
manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into the
lower inside seam of Big Bird's hand insert pocket. The plush is undamaged
and generally clean and in nice condition, with only minor use-related soiling
from being played with over the years. This uncommon item is in near mint
condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) rolling toy
This is a
3.25" tall by 3.25" long plastic rolling toy showing Big Bird behind
the wheel of a red tow truck. He has a blue bandanna tied around his neck
and the tow truck has white bumpers, a white towing hook, and bright blue
wheels. The toy's rolling action works perfectly and this item is complete
and undamaged. It is in NM+ condition. Big Bird was manufactured in
1993 by Tyco Playtime as part of a set of rolling toys that also included Cookie
Monster, Elmo, and Ernie.

This is a
1.75" tall, 5.25" long, and 4.25" deep white ceramic soap dish
with raised-relief images of anchors on both sides. The front shows Big
Bird waving a red flag, and the back shows sailor Ernie holding a yellow
flexible telescope. The item is in NM+ condition. It was
manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1990s.
