SUPERMAN (DC Comics / superhero) soaky -- Avon
Although
a "loose" and assembled Superman soaky is shown in the picture, this item is
actually in mint condition, with parts of it still contained in their original, sealed
plastic protective bag. This is the 1978 Superman soaky that Avon manufactured,
complete with the original cloth cape, which is not pictured since that is one of the
pieces that has never been removed from the bag. Superman is shown with his arms
crossed, legs spread apart, straddling several grey skyscrapers. He comes with his
original box, which is in great shape, too, complete with all of its beautiful, colorful
graphics. (The loose Superman soaky shown is also available for purchase, minus the
box, for $41.)

SUPERMAN (DC Comics / superhero) vinyl figure
This is a
15.5" jointed vinyl figure of Superman, who has movable arms. He
wears a red cloth cape; the rest of him is made of the molded vinyl. This
item was manufactured in 1988, probably by Presents / Hamilton Gifts, as part of
a set of superhero figures that also included Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, and
the Joker. It is undamaged and in near mint condition overall, with a few
small surface marks and some minor paint loss on the back of Superman's hair
being the item's only flaws--minor ones at that.

This is a mint,
unused set of plastic Superman cake decorations, showing Superman in a flying

included as part of this set. This item was manufactured by Wilton in
1979. The cake decorations come sealed in their original box, from which
they have never been removed.
COST = $17 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0103124
SUPERMAN (DC Comics / superhero) ceramic musical
In
1978, Price manufactured a set of superhero and villain ceramic musicals. Included
in this set were Shazam (which we also have in stock at this time), Batman, Robin,
Catwoman, Joker, Penguin, Riddler, and among others, this one of Superman. This item
is 8" tall and features Superman standing with his legs apart, hands behind his back,
atop a white base that is decorated with a blue side that has red and yellow dots on it.
When the plastic circular bottom is wound up, the musical turns and plays
"Jesus Christ Superstar" quite clearly. (Well, don't YOU always associate
Superman with Jesus Christ Superstar?!) The ceramic is completely free of
damage. The original manufacturer's sticker is intact on the underside of the
musical, and the copyright sticker is intact on the rear side of the musical's base.
Superman has two spots of paint missing, one from each thigh. Otherwise, he
is free of wear. The "Superman" logo sticker on the front of the musical
is complete and undamaged, showing only minor wear from being handled over the years.
Overall, this item is in EX+ to NM- condition.

in a mid-air soaring pose. The watch has a blue band. It is in mint,

flesh-colored face, black hair, a blue body, and dark red boots, undies, and S
emblem on his chest. This item was manufactured by Colgate-Palmolive in
1965 as part of a large collection of cartoon character shampoo bottles released

SUPERMAN (DC Comics / superhero) hard vinyl figure

SUPERMAN (DC Comics / superhero) Magic Catch game
This is an 8"
Superman Magic Catch game. It consists of a two-sided hand puppet, one of
which shows Superman and the other of which shows Clark Kent. The game is
supposed to come with a soft Velcro ball, but that slipped out of the torn
cellophane window on the front of the box somewhere over the years . . . a true
shame considering that the item itself has never been removed from its original
box. The item itself is in mint condition. The box has colorful
graphics showing both sides of the puppet (front), Clark Kent in a phone booth
(left), Superman in a phone booth (right), and a boy and a girl playing with
their own Magic Catch game (back). The box has corner and edge wear and
some tearing along the seams, but is entirely intact. The cellophane
window is completely present but there is a tear in the upper left-hand corner,
and that is where the Velcro ball was able to escape Superman's grip years
ago. This item was manufactured by Synergistics Research Corp. in 1979.
COST = $32 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0506004

been prepared using their respective cake pans. This item also comes with
its original plastic Superman face and "S" emblem. The cake pan
was manufactured by Wilton in 1981. There is wear and some surface tearing
(near the Batman and Superman images) on parts of the insert, and a few large
pieces of tape holding things together (put there by the item's previous owner).

was manufactured in 1978 by Dawn. It is in nearly perfect condition.

plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original cardboard mounting card.
The mounting card has colorful graphics on front, showing Superman punching his

with light/minor surface dinginess from having been played with over the years
being his only flaw. This doll retains its original manufacturer's label,
which remains sewn securely into Sylvester's left foot. It shows that he
was manufactured by Dakin in 1976. Originally, this item had several
counterparts, including Bugs Bunny (a few variations), Tweety, Daffy Duck, and a
very tough-to-find Pepe LePew.
COST = $16 BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS ITEM NUMBER = 0108087

Sylvester to be affixed to and then hung from any smooth, hard surface like a
mirror or car window. This item is in NM to NM+ condition, with no damage,
a few minor spots of paint wear on the reverse side, and the number 50 written
on the manufacturer's label. It was manufactured by Good Stuff Corp. in

SYLVESTER (Warner Brothers) rolypoly
This is a
5.75" plastic rolypoly showing Sylvester with his tongue sticking out of
the right side of his mouth. He holds both paws in front of him, and the
front of the rolypoly is painted to make it appear as if he wears a yellow

trousers. When Sylvester is batted about, he always uprights due to the
weight inside of his body, and he chimes. This item was manufactured in
1978 along with a Tweety counterpart. It is undamaged but the item,

tall and has a swiveling head and torso and movable arms. He has a few very small
spots of paint loss on the tips of his hair and fingertips, and one small cracked area in
the off-white vinyl above his feet. Overall, this item is in VG- condition as a

white vinyl bank shaped like the outline of Sylvester's form, showing him waving
with his upwardly-bent left hand while holding his right hand bent akimbo on the
hip. The bank's coin slot is located on the back, near Sylvester's head, and
money could only be removed by cutting a hole on the underside of the
bank. Amazingly, this bank has no damage and may never have been
used. It was manufactured in 1979 along with a Bugs Bunny counterpart, but
the copyright information does not indicate who made it. Sylvester has a
faint pink mark on his belly (visible in the photograph accompanying this

1990, Applause released a set of 18 Looney Tunes PVC baseball figurines, with 9 different
characters representing various American League teams and those same 9 characters
representing various National League teams. This is the Sylvester National League
ballplayer, showing Sylvester as an outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals. (We have
several of the other items in this series in stock at this time too.) This item is

The display box has a light crease along the semi-circular area above
Sylvester,

SYLVESTER (Warner Brothers) jointed vinyl Dakin bank
This
is an 11.5" tall jointed vinyl bank of Sylvester, who is shown standing on top of a
blue-grey fish locker with a bright orange raised image of a fish on the front.
Sylvester was manufactured in 1971 by R. Dakin Company as part of a set of Looney Tunes
banks, each featuring a different character standing atop some item that typified that
character's personality (e.g., Tweety on a birdcage, Road Runner on a cactus mound,
Yosemite Sam on a treasure chest, Speedy Gonzales on a cheese wedge, etc.). The coin
slot is located between Sylvester's feet; the original coin trap is present on the
underside of the fish locker. Sylvester retains his original whiskers and his tail
and, overall, is in nice shape. This item is in NM- condition, with some
minor paint loss on the inside tip of Sylvester's tail being the item's
principal flaw.
